The food was left on the doorstep!
The food was left on the doorstep, the delivery driver didn't ring the bell or knock the door so it was there all day in 30+ degree heat.(husband was WFH all day) Poor communication between nonna and courier to ensure that the parcel is food so therefore must be handed over to a person. The food had to go straight in the bin as it contained dairy and meat. A refund was refused - money off next order and postage cost refund offered only which I don't feel was enough. Won't try again.

Bad cancellation process
The recipes were so tasty!
However, the experience was deflated by the cancellation process.
I emailed to say I wish to cancel my subscription and my reasons why. I was then left a voicemail by them asking me to ring back to finalise the cancellation. I spoke to a lady who was pressuring me to pause my subscription and it be reactive in two months time. I explained I didn’t want this but again I was pressured into it. When she eventually got the point she was rude and abrupt to me so I have contacted them by email to make sure it is cancelled. In my opinion, you should be able to cancel your subscription via the website, not needing to email and speak to someone on the phone.

Delicious pasta, better than restaurants
We had Pici with slow cooked San Marzano tomato, basil and buffalo mozzarella today, and honestly it was the most delicious pasta we have had, anywhere, including Italy. I can’t recommend them enough.

We enjoy the variety of pasta meals we have never heard of before.
Mostly they are interesting and flavourful. We have, however, not liked a couple where the pasta was too thick and heavy.

First delivery never arrived despite…
First delivery never arrived despite text message saying it had been delivered - tried to call 6 times (during open hours) and each time call was rejected after about 30 secs on hold, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter making it appear that the call is being declined manually.
No way to track deliveries online, or even see that one has been dispatched... really strange for a subscription business not to provide a lot more delivery information than they do.
No ability to cancel online either - need to contact them to do so - frustrating when you then can't actually contact or get through to them.

I’m so pleased with the delicious meals…
I’m so pleased with the delicious meals I have received from Nonna Tonda. The website is easy to use, delivery was perfect with a text to confirm time slot, packaging is mostly cardboard which can be recycled. Instructions were easy to follow and I love the fact that I can be eating a freshly prepared meal with no preservatives added in under 10 minutes. The flavours have been really well put together and the pasta is beautifully fresh too. It’s just nice to have different things to try every week. So glad I found you!

Applied for a production chef position
Applied for a production chef position and went for a trial shift, showed up 15 minutes early to no contact, couldn't get in contact with anyone until I physically went into the business without anyone showing me the way. Introduced to the headchef who was fixing a piece of production equipment on the floor(which later wasn't sanitized), upon speaking with the head chef I was informed minimum hours would be 50 a week (not disclosed on the application) and that overtime was expected until the job was done. Proceeded to work for the next 7 (despire only being asked for 4) hours as several colleagues got into fights around me and arguments with the head chef. After the shift ended I told the chef I would consider it and get back to him, he also told me I WOULD be paid for my shift, I STILL HAVENT BEEN PAID, upon reaching out to their HR i was left on read with no response. This company seems promising but seeing the inside i can confirm the other reviews are accurate and true, i would not work for this company, and id recommend you shouldnt either.
