If I could give Nissan 0 stars it would be too many. I got my van brand new 2024 plate, 5 year warranty, service package, you would think this would all go in the favour. My van has been off the road 3 times in the last 7 months totalling over 20 days of downtime, I use my van for work so this has been a direct loss to me. The problem is each time I’ve been assured it’s a quick job, and it drags on and on and on, they can’t get parts, I had to wait over 10 days for break pads, the garage said it’s 1 hour job but couldn’t get the parts from Nissan but also as it was in warranty couldn’t put any other pads on it, I needed a bread new alternator after 20000 miles, the service is the worst I’ve ever ever ever experienced, please do yourself a favour & avoid Nissan at all costs.

October 2025 Nissan XTrail owner App reset. I might be the odd one out in this company of reviews. My experience was 100% as expected. Prompt, accurate and solved my issue straight away. I’ve even had a follow up e-mail checking that the matter was resolved.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible company, sold us a faulty car, we had to go to Ombudsman to get our money back and yet 5 month after Ombudsman's decision for a full refund we are yet to receive any money from them. Rude, entitled, lie to their customers. Never buy nissan, stay clear.

I purchased a 'Nissan Approved' Used Nissan Leaf on 26/01/2026 directly from Marshall Nissan Oxford. It has now been two weeks, and despite providing all requested ownership documents immediately, I still have zero access to NissanConnect.
For an EV, the app is not a luxury; it is an essential tool for managing charging and heating. Selling a 'connected' car without the connectivity is unacceptable. I have chased the dealership and support repeatedly, but the issue remains unresolved.
This is a clear failure of the 'Approved Used' promise. I am currently unable to use the full features of the vehicle I paid for.

The BRAYLEYS JUNTA in MANCHESTER has charged me £499 for a service which basically consists of an oil and filter change. It's just criminal.
Logged a formal complaint with NISSAN MOTOR GB customer service but after five weeks I have been eventually " fobbed " off.
Next stop TRADING STANDARDS UK !!!
A special shout out to TANYA,DANNY,SHANNON and their supervisors for the lack of empathy and the ability of circumventing the obvious.

The worst customer service of my whole life! I bought a brand new Nissan townstar drove only 3k miles and it broke down on me. My experience got even worse when it took one month to just diagnose the van and after that 2 months to repair. In whole 3 months for a fault which is not even fixed yet completely. They totally ignored me in giving me a courtesy van for a month even though it was under warranty. Numerous phone calls and emails were ignored and asking me for proofs of loss of earnings! Clearly it was a bought for business purposes on company name still trying to prove them huge amount of loss. PATHETIC SERVICE!!!!!

We bought a brand new 75 plate Nissan Qashqai E-power at the end of September 2025. On the 7th of November 2025 my husband was driving our son to school when the car screen showed a fault ‘catastrophic error’ so he stopped the car. He waited for 11 hours on the side of the road to be recovered by Nissan (due to it being a hybrid and because it wouldn’t turn back on a normal recovery truck couldn’t collect) during this time the windows kept going up and down and the boot opened. The car then started to ark electricity down to the road (it’s a hybrid with a battery) my husband was then advised by Nissan to call the fire brigade which he did, they attended and made the car safe. Since then we have been battling to get our money back, we where told we are able to reject the car but months down the line they are playing silly buggers, they gave us a settlement quote far less than what we put into the car and paid in monthly payments, we have continued to pay the monthly payments despite not being provided with a like for like courtesy car and having to make do with a rental car which doesn’t suit our families needs. They have claimed that during the 6 weeks we had the car we have damaged it to the tune of £900- which we absolutely did not, the cars bodywork was in mint condition at the time it broke down. I am absolutely shocked that they are lying and cheating us out of money. This is a multi million pound business which is putting my family in financial hardship. Their communication is diabolical and my husbands health has been affected as a direct result of this companies incompetence. Please if you are reading this do not put your hard earned money into this company because if anything goes wrong they will not help you and it will be an absolute nightmare to try and resolve. Nissan uk you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Sadly after owning Nissans for many years, I am not impressed with them these days, after taking my Juke in for a warranty repair for condensation in the front lights both units had failed as highlighted by their fully qualified Nissan trained technician one light was deemed to be not faulty enough so they would only authorise the changing of one light and I was told by the main dealership to contact them when the other one gets worse. Probably when the warranty runs out in September.
A complete waste of time.
Very disappointed with you Nissan.
The dealership were very good but Nissan would only agree to one light being changed despite their technician saying both units had failed.
The Dealership was Chorley Nissan Burnley
So just an update as of 29 January I have been past about between Nissan and the Dealership both are as bad as each other. Neither will agree to replace my failing light until it fails or hopefully for them the warranty runs out they have told me that it doesn’t meet their criteria so a two year old car with a known fault doesn’t meet your criteria. Well it doesn’t meet mine either £26k to drive around with a condensation in the light, no wonder you get such bad reviews.
Trading standards next for me and no more Nissans ever.
Awful customer service from both parties.
Update as of today 04 February 2026 I have now referred this case to the Motor Ombudsman, it’s a shame it’s come to this but it seems Nissan won’t standby their warranty.
I definitely would not recommend Nissan if they won’t replace a light under warranty I don’t hold out any hope for anything else failing.
It’s no wonder they only offer a 3 year warranty.
Can’t wait to get rid of this thing.

I went into Marshalls of Lincoln and was warmly greeted by Jake , their sales representative.
After discussing my requirements, I was shown a 2nd hand , low mileage Qashqai.
Superb motor and throughout , impeccable cleaned and maintained.
Jake was very knowledgeable and responded clearly to any questions I put to him !!
The after sales service has also been very professional and reassuringly good .
Well done Marshalls of Lincoln and also Jake Bailey too !!

Do not buy a Nissan Ariya and never seek help from Siobhan, Craig, Roisin, Maciej or Jem - a completely inadequate and deplorable ‘Customer Service’ team. Vehicle has rattles which nobody can resolve and they wish to keep the vehicle for a week to strip it down with no idea what they are looking for. No like for like courtesy car either. Infotainment system has glitches and is overdue software updates. Dealership shrugs shoulders - speak to Nissan HQ as we cant help…Nissan HQ shrug their shoulders - speak to a dealership as we can’t help… customers are NOT valued and customer services are an absolute waste of time. I am very angry and I will never own a Nissan vehicle ever again and can only hope i influence others to do the same.

I purchased a brand-new Nissan Qashqai from Nissan Efe in Ankara in September 2023 for 1,500,000 TL. I have experienced a series of serious problems that are absolutely unacceptable for a new vehicle.
Within the first three months, the vehicle developed engine oil leaks (oil sweating) and an axle malfunction. The engine oil sweating occurred spontaneously and was detected during a routine check, without any overheating or misuse. The axle problem started with noise and malfunction during normal steering maneuvers on flat roads, without any accident, impact, or pothole. Later, after approximately 2 years and 1 month, the battery failed suddenly, even though the vehicle was used regularly on a daily basis, so it cannot be explained by inactivity.
I have visited the authorized dealer Nissan Efe in Ankara more than four to five times due to these problems and contacted Nissan Turkey Customer Service multiple times. Although the authorized service acknowledged these as manufacturing defects and carried out the repairs under warranty, Nissan refused my request for a replacement vehicle, insisting on repair only, despite the repeated and serious nature of the faults. In addition, they promised to provide a courtesy car while my vehicle was at the service center, but they did not keep this promise, which left my family without a car and forced us to use taxis and other paid transportation options. Nissan Customer Service also told me that they would return to me within 48 hours regarding my complaint, but I was never called back.
Although I have not paid anything directly for the repairs because they were covered under the 3-year / 100,000 km warranty (valid until September 2026, and the car is currently at around 41,000 km), I have suffered significant indirect financial losses. I have had to pay for taxis and alternative transportation due to the lack of the promised courtesy car. More importantly, because such major repairs are now recorded in the vehicle’s history, my car has suffered serious value depreciation in the second-hand market.
In light of all these issues, I no longer have trust in this vehicle. I request that my defective Nissan Qashqai be replaced with a new, problem-free vehicle and that I be compensated for the indirect costs and loss of value I have suffered due to these recurring manufacturing defects and the unfulfilled promises of the dealer and Nissan Turkey Customer Service.

Bought a Nissan approved used car from its Brayleys dealer in the summer of 2025. When I done the purchase, the saleman recommended Nissan extended warranty and the full service plan cost 1000 pounds and mentioned if the approved car has the issue like transmission and engine, it can cover. After driving 1600 miles, the car has the transmission issue and ESP and System Fault signs on the dashboard. The Brayleys dealer has done their diagnostics and found this is CVT transmission and raise the case to Nissan extended warranty/Customer Care plus providing all paper works (pre sale documents) to show the car was at good condition and no any fault when saleing. Nissan extended warranty team at the moment does not want to accpet the claim without a good reason. Both the dealer and I consider Nissan should not do this to the customer who purchased an approved used car with the extended warrenty, just only less than 5-6 month and just 1600 miles usage. I will consider to raise the complaint to The Motor Ombudsman and further if the final decision from Nissan cannot satisfy. If the final decision is satisfied, I will back to here to update to let wider customers know and change the rate.

My brand new Nissan Hybrid has been faulty and unreliable. The dealership do not ring back and give updates. My juke has had a fault with the gear box twice within a year. Once when the car was under a year old and then 8 months after it had a whole new gear box fitted. The car is unsafe and not reliable. We have a child with additional needs and medical appointments we cant miss.
Stay clear of Nissan, this is our second Juke thats had faults on brand new cars.
