Great care and attention
Recently my wife went to see Clare regarding a headache which had lasted over 3 weeks. Clare gave her time and a thorough eye examination. After an urgent blood test CGA was diagnosed and steroid treatment begun. We very grateful for Clare’s care and attention to detail. An excellent optician.

My new glasses
Collected my new glasses today. I am very pleased with them. They are a big improvement on my old glasses and they look good too.
The service from Bonnie was excellent and was concluded promptly with no fuss.

Recently got a pair of reading specs
Recently got a pair of reading specs. Claire and her team have always been excellent, professional and caring in all my years of optical needs, from getting me referred for cataracts (whereas Bournemouth Eye clinic refused) to regular care due to being diabetic. I would very happily recommend Nicholsons to anyone.

Not just an eye test also a full health check on back of eyes.So thorough and yet made easy and comfortable with latest state of the art equipment. The level of expertise & personal attention you receive is second to none. The eye examination is extremely thorough & they have state of the art equipment. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my eyes looked after.

Excellent service
After chemotherapy last year I made an appointment for a general eye health checkup. The attention to detail was by far the best I have experienced to date and would recommend this independent opticians business. Every aspect of my vision was thoroughly checked, including 3D modelling.

I’m a regular and compared to other practises I’ve experienced previously, this feels very personal and the level of care is excellent. They have modern equipment and a great range of frames etc. covering a range of budgets. Highly recommend.

First visit and most definitely not the last!
Having been recommended (by many) to Nicholson Eyecare, I attended my first eye test, hoping not to be disappointed.
I was delighted with the service received from everyone there. A very comprehensive eye test and discussion of scans with Claire, followed by Jasmin, Bonnie & Holly who were all so very honest about frames that do and don’t suit you. Plus, you weren’t pushed to the most expensive frames - they have all prices there and many in a sale too!
I would recommend Nicholson Eyecare to anyone. You won’t be disappointed.
