I found the entire process very user-friendly. Everything was dealt with speedily & efficiently. As I have never been in this situation before I wasn't sure what to expect but everyone I interacted with, including my mediator, was sympathetic and explained the process clearly.

Asha Rani, made the whole experience easy. Was able to explain the process and how she maybe able to help depending on the other party. Initially I was apprehensive to mediation but I feel better after my MIAM appointment.

Facing the unknown

I was very anxious to begin with my emotions were all over the place.. I logged on half an hour too early and when the alarm signaled it was time I could not get in no one invited me in to the meeting. I had to start again. Luckily I made it and the coordinator appeared.
He introduced himself & warned me that he was about to go. Anyway I explained to him that not computer literate and I was nervous
The session went well. He explained what was going to take place. And asked me a series of questions about what I expected to achieve from Mediation.
As the questions were asked i relaxed and felt like I was being listened to. A lot of my concerns were answered understood how the process was going to benefit me going forward.
All in all I now know that I have rights and not to think the system is stacked against Dad's.

Joanne was a calming presence

Joanne was a calming presence. She explained everything well. I didn't feel rushed when taking notes. Joanne is knowledgeable and answered my questions. A very good start to the process.

We began the session with mixed…

We began the session with mixed feelings and not at all confident about the process. However, we really felt listened to and were very impressed with the credentials and experience of the mediator we were assigned. We came away feeling more committed to the process and more hopeful for a good final outcome.

As a first time in this situation I…

As a first time in this situation I didn't know what to aspect i was so worried. I just decide to be open and honest,trasparent about my actual situation. I realised how professional my mediator was with me and was listening every details and take note. Hope the law will do them best.

would like to say that my experience…

would like to say that my experience with the mediation service was excellent. Both the mediator and the interpreter were incredibly kind, professional and supportive throughout the whole process. The mediation was conducted very efficiently and in a calm and respectful atmosphere. Everything was explained clearly and I felt very comfortable during the meeting. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly everything was arranged. I received the certificate very quickly, which allowed me to attach it to my C100 application without any delay. I expected the process might take months, but the mediation was organised very quickly and everything was handled smoothly. In the end the meeting took place only between myself, the mediator and the interpreter. I am 100% satisfied with the service and would highly recommend it.
