This company has terrible customer service. I had some storm damage and needed repairs to my home. The check needed their signature. I was told to do ACH to get funds faster. They held my check for 15 days and wouldn't send the funds. Kept changing their story on why. Now i have a contractor coming after me because of them.

My refinance with New American Funding was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a lender. What should have been a simple process turned into weeks of unnecessary stress due to repeated mistakes, delays, and a complete lack of accountability from both the supervisor and the Senior Loan Officer handling my file.
Major issues included:
Rate changes that created avoidable complications
A missed manufacturing date that caused delays
A timeline that dragged on far beyond what was promised
Repeated errors about which credit cards were supposed to be paid off
A sudden $6,000+ change in the cash‑back amount compared to what was originally presented
These weren’t minor oversights — they reflected a breakdown in leadership, communication, and basic attention to detail. Emails addressing serious issues went unanswered, and the lack of transparency made the entire process even more stressful.
