Fast Free and Friendly help with a problem
I have a number of devices made by Netatmo, and when changing the battery on my rain guage, the battery cap broke. I emailed them, and within a couple of hours got a reply saying a free replacement would be sent. This despite the part being well out of warranty. Great customer service and the way to keep customers onside

Not being able to contact anyone means this product is worthless when it goes wrong
I've had netatmo in three houses now and always given good feedback to friends etc but it's an expensive system and we've just got a new boiler and can't get anything to work. The relay is struggling to connect with any valves including new ones and the thermostat. There's no contact number so have emailed and it's been 24 hours and no response so can't control our heating. Shocking service considering heating is such a crucial process to run in a house. So disappointing, considering ripping it all out and going back to manual controls as it's such a worry not having any control over heating and not being able to contact someone to get help to sort issues is ridiculous. Has changed my entire opinion of the product.

I had the Netatmo for 2 1/2 years
I had the Netatmo for 2 1/2 years. Had to have the rain gauge replaced, didn’t connect. Changed the batteries a month ago and noticed that there was water in the battery compartment.
The anemometer is now out of action, water ingress as well. These are expensive devices and in this case worthless.
Tried to contact support, they want all sort of useless information, as if someone else is making these devices! Hopeless

I have no QR code to set up the relay. Still waiting for customer service to get back to me.
In reply to my request for a QR code, customer service got back after ten days with a list of checks to connect the relay. But no QR code. Can't connect without it.

OK long story short
OK long story short: the iOS app sometimes will fail to link the anemometer to the base unit. Try Android. It **might** work and then you can move on with your life. Thank you/you’re welcome.
Smart Thermostat non functional
Smart Thermostat non functional. Support nonfunctional. App won't install the Smart Thermostat. Error "workflow blockError". The thermostat itself is useless. you are supposed to press non-existent button to increase and lower the temperature. There are no buttons, you are supposed to just touch the case somewhere and expect the temperature to go up or down. I only managed either 5°, 19° or OFF. This is a useless nonfuctioning brick. Also, forget to mention - it's impossible to to disconnect the relay from it's adapter.
Why do manufacturers think any product is better by not having "traditional buttons". It's absolutely ridiculous nonsensical design. WHERE on the theromstat do I press? It's not even marked where to press. Also, I cannot add the thermostat to Apple Home - Accessory Not Found
It would be far easier to communicate through your ticket system (Ticket 3342758), but, that doesn't work and neither does your chat function (no one answers it)
Update 29 October: still extremely unsatisfied. App is so flaky. Unreliable, connection errors. Looks like a beta version. Poor customer service telling me to complain to retailer. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
To Netatmo: I’ve purchased a Bosch. I expect a refund ASAP. Otherwise I will file a small claims court case. Thank you.

Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever! Worst product setup process ever! I have multiple outdoor cameras and it takes several attempts at activating cameras and than it takes several more attempts to join them to apple home. I have one camera that will not activate and connect to the app regardless of location, wifi strength or frequency, number of restarts!! POS! There is no way to talk to customer service. Emails go unanswered. Community groups are filled with dissatisfied customers and inadequate help. Stay away from these products as it is best for your mental health. Netatmo should be ashamed and quit selling products they don't intend to support.
EDIT: Your reply is not true! My email address is still good. I also provided you with another email address and a phone number. Your suggestion is to read through a bunch of useless FAQ's and help articles that do not solve the issue. I have many competing products in use with no issues. If you really cared about customer service and wanted to help me you could? You have my phone and email or you could provide me with a legitimate way to contact you! Your response only proves you don't listen and you don't really care to solve the problem.

My Netatmo thermostat screen can't be read after three years and they don't offer a fix for this.. it's a common issue beware.
There's is no need to reply to review you already know this is a common issue with netatmo thermostat displays, I've reached out and the answer was you are out of warranty it can't be fixed. The only was to fix it buy a new thermostat.

Product does not work and still no refund
Product received was non-functional. I received a total of 3 cameras, and none of them ever worked. Since May 19, 2025, I have sent multiple follow-ups without receiving any reply from customer service.
To this day, no refund has been issued.
A complete lack of professionalism and consideration for the customer.

Netatmo make great products that both look good and integrate so well with whichever smart home system you have. I love the fact you don’t need a subscription but use whichever cloud storage (as well as local) you have.

Great support from Netatmo – truly impressed
My 8-year-old thermostat (installed via a promo in Ireland) started to fade. Despite being out of warranty and having no proof of purchase, Netatmo’s support team offered a free repair or 25% off a new system.
I decided to buy a new 10 smart radiator valves. Communication was fast, polite and helpful, special thanks to Edgar and Johanna.
Excellent service that earns trust. Highly recommend!

I had Netatmo Welcome for aims around 5 years. Last week its configuration failed and I wrote Support (ticket 3337274). I nudged them telling them that they haven’t replied. No reply after more than a week.

II spent a ton of money on a weather…
II spent a ton of money on a weather station and additional sensors. This is the worst purchase of my life. The external module constantly falls off the central station - that is, practically it does not work. The central module regularly loses the network and requires a reboot. At the same time, cheaper Chinese analogues work without failures and without problems. Money for nothing.

Months of Problems, Faulty Products, Zero Support
I’ve been a Netatmo customer for years, but this has been my worst experience with any “premium” brand.
My refurbished Outdoor Camera (Order #C3000033796) was faulty from day one — constant “SD card error” messages despite 3 different tested cards and professional installation (€160 cost to me). I followed every troubleshooting step, but the fault always returns.
Support has been non-existent. After 6+ weeks of chasing tickets and emails, I have had no meaningful reply about the actual problem. At one point they even responded about the wrong product. When I finally received a message, it offered no solution.
Meanwhile, Klarna has paused my payments, and I have filed complaints with the European Consumer Centre and French consumer authorities.
Cheaper brands like Eufy have given me zero issues. Netatmo charge a premium price but provide terrible reliability and worse customer support.
I strongly advise avoiding Netatmo.
