Wow, what an experience! Thank you Natucate for being completely transparent about what to expect and the advice on being adequately prepared. The program was sustainably aligned and provided insight to how ecotourism can look into the future.
My human and elephant conservation in Namibia was organised through Terry from Natucate, her honest and encouraging approach enabled myself to mentally and physical prepare for the trip.

I have travelled extensively before coming to Namibia, however this trip in particular was a truly life changing experience. After an intense year of university, this 2 week project enabled me to reset my brain and participate in something that is bigger than myself. I would encourage people before me to seriously consider travelling and organising their trip through Natucate. I am thinking about what other programs I can choose through this company and explore areas of the world that would be impossible to experience otherwise.

In May 2024 I spent 22 days volunteering with Natucate's Zambia Species Conservation program, and I can't recommend it enough.

From day one, you’re thrown into the wild beauty of Zambia's landscapes. The program is set in Lusaka National Park the first week and then moving to Kafue National Park, one of the largest and most diverse parks in Africa. The park is teeming with wildlife – I saw elephants, lions, and even managed to spot a leopard! The work we did was incredibly rewarding. We tracked and monitored species, collected data, prepared bottles for the elephants, cleaned the boma and contributed to vital conservation efforts.

Accommodation is basic but comfortable. Think of it as glamping in the wild. Our tents were super cozy.

The guides and staff were incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, always ready to share their expertise. The only downside was that our driver and host would speak in their local language instead of English most of the time and is a bit of a shame because you miss the day to day things.

We also had some downtime to explore and relax. We went to two different lodges on our days off and enjoy by the pool.

Overall, this volunteer program exceeded all my expectations. It’s ideal for anyone who loves nature and wants to make a tangible difference in conservation.

This was my very first time went to south africa, travel solo, dealt with Natucate & join a volunteer abroad. I was very scared, blurred, at first i was worried if this was a scam & don't even know what to do, the only things i know i want to join the volunteer. I was assisted by Terry. She was so helpful, very positive & cheerful person that make me very comfortable dealing with her. She will always email,called & message me to make sure my arrangement going smoothly. Even when i am already in the volunteer project (wildlife act in Manyoni private game) she still message me to make sure i am okay. I am so thankful to get to know Natucate & Terry. Since my flight was early, i need to booked a hotel to sleep, Terry organize everything, she help me to find a hotel with a good price & she personally called the hotel person when i am arrived at the airport & asked that lady to make sure i am safe. NATUCATE & TERRY are the best!!!

Natucate is such a professional company with a great variety of volunteering projects all over the world. They have a 24/7 support and will answer all your questions at any time. Very helpful and passionate team and it is always a pleasure to book with them.

I have been to South Africa and Botswana several times with Natucate and can recommend it 100%. Most recently, I booked my Level 1 Field Guide and the support before the trip (including providing information, learning material, etc.) was simply fantastic. Even during the trip, the team regularly checks in with you to ask how things are going and responds very quickly to feedback and problems you might have on location.
Aside from the fact that the offering and customer service are great, the people who work at Natucate are also just super nice and you can tell how passionate they are about their job.

I booked my one year field guide course in South Africa with Natucate. The agency provided me with lots of information to prepare myself for the course and helped me with my visa. Since they know the course and the area very well, they gave me a good idea what to expect. During the course I could always contact them whenever I had a question. Natucate was a big help and support for my trip of 1 month in Namibia. I did ther 1 month of volunteering (Elephant conservation) and it was amazing. I was able to appreciate this adventure at the fullest, thanks the support of Natucate. They helped me to organise the travel there and back, fill the necessary formes, bring all the necessary equipment and clothes. The support through it all made me feel safer and less stressed. I 100% recommend them.
