As a local Charity we were looking for a machine with its own sim card, so non of the volunteers had the worry of downloading apps and using their own mobile phones when using at events.
This product is not suited for small organisations. The paperwork involved was horrendous and information they needed was as if we were opening a bank account, which is definitely not what we intended to do. After 3 weeks of trying to get it set (many hours of phone calls)up we then had to return the item.
First time using Zeller to take payments on my phone worked great. I had it setup at-least a week earlier and tested it the day prior to needing it. Had no issues and it all worked smoothly.
The communication is brilliant. Fast and simply instructive.
Zania and her team, did a good well done job of assiting me thru the chargeback.

I have found every step of the way starting to use Zeller for my business to flawless. I was recommended Zeller because of the more competitive rate. I was mostly interested as they do the reconciliation of funds each night at 12pm rather than 5pm of my previous company. Also the interest rate . This has made a big difference as it was the lowest rate I could find. The terminal has been working extremely well at my markets around Tasmania. Would highly recommend Zeller.
I've been using Zeller in my business for the past 6 months, and the experience has been great. The terminal works seamlessly, and the back-end reporting is incredibly powerful. I can see my business cashflow incomings and outgoing in one place, which i've never been able to do before with a bank. I've now switched all of my payments, invoicing, and banking to Zeller.
This company is proactive, efficient, their staff are courteous, kind and understanding. They processed my account registering quickly even contacting me on a saturday to help. They sent me the machine and setting it up was very easy and intuitive. In comparison with the previous card machine company thier charges are very reasonable and compared to the other company I tried they were miles better and much easier to deal with.

Awful, they qoute 48 hours but it took 4-5 days. What made it worse, same questions being asked. I am not going to change my answers. After this I told the customer service rep, I no longer want to proceed. To which I got a response, thanks for letting us know you have been declined. No it's not declined, I withdrew.

I wanted to go with Zeller as I had heard good things, but their verification process has been so lengthy and complicated. Initially I made a mistake as I signed up with an email not linked to the business. All good, we fixed this, or so I thought. But the calls and requests for more verification selfie videos, and more documentation to prove that the business exists, has continued.
I pulled the pin on our application and instead, I signed up with another provider - 10 minutes for the online application (with a simple verification process), and maybe an hour of setting up our products on the app, and we are now accepting card payments from our customers.

I received a cold-call sales email this morning and responded to advise that we would not be interested in using the product at this time. While I appreciate that the sales team may be working to commission structures and KPI targets, I was subsequently contacted by phone to discuss how their service differs from what we currently use. I again reiterated that we were not interested. However, I have since received a further follow-up email again outlining the differences in their service and to feel free to get in touch if I change my mind.

My husband just recently opened a small landscaping business, we chose Zeller as reviews had been positive. We have had the complete opposite experience, they are withholding thousands of dollars from us. We sent the invoices as proof of transaction per their request, they told us it would be 24 hours to process but here we are 2 WEEKS later! My husband cannot afford to start the next job while we wait for this money to come in, we are barely keeping food on the table. Incredibly frustrated, DO NOT use Zeller if you’d like your money. Unfortunately we’ll be needing to follow up with fair trading if they cannot release our money which was paid through an invoice by a client! Terrible customer service, literally no updates or communication unless you call them, when you do call them it’s completely useless.

I would not recommend Zeller. We had an unauthorized transaction in our account, which we notified them when it was still pending. They said we needed to wait until it cleared before they could investigate it. So we waited until it cleared, and called back. The only person who ever answers the phone is a person named May. We spoke to May again; and explained the same thing and opened up an investigation. It has now been 90 days and we still don’t have an outcome or an answer. We have called multiple times, we can only get May who apparently doesn’t work in the “fraud” team, but is unable to connect with anyone who does. Super sketchy company and financial firm. Would not recommend.
Zeller have no fraud protections in place.
I was defrauded by a taxi driver using their platform to process payments. Zeller have no fraud reporting process except to send an email. I did this over a week ago and no one has bothered to investigate or get back to me.
Any reputable business would be concerned and take action if it was reported that individuals were using their platform to defraud people. But Zeller aren't. Their lack of concern and failure to responds speaks volumnes of how they might - or might not protect your business or the transactions of your customers.
