I am very disappointed with my first experience with MyUS. Indeed, I ordered and paid for a packaging reinforcement service, which proved to be disappointing when I received my parcels, with some items damaged.
When I contacted customer service via WhatsApp to assist me in filing a claim with DHL Express, as the carrier and the primary party responsible for the damage to my goods, the customer service team simply rejected my request, stating: “Please note that since Enhanced Liability Protection was not selected for this shipment, we are unable to take further action from our side regarding future shipment issues. To ensure coverage for loss or damage and allow us to assist you appropriately in such cases, we kindly recommend enabling Enhanced Liability Protection for your future shipments.”
However, considering that MyUS appointed the carrier, I was simply requesting MyUS to assist me with my claim declaration. It should be noted that I ultimately handled the process myself, and DHL is currently reviewing my claim without any assistance from MyUS.
As an expatriate who regularly uses the services of competing companies, I can assure you that others provide much better customer service.
Stay Away – They Hold Your Package Hostage and Go Silent
I've been a MyUS customer and this experience has been a nightmare. They received my paid package and have been holding it for weeks with no valid reason. I submitted four different invoices and receipts — all showing merchant name, address, and full item values — and every single time I get the same copy-paste automated rejection with zero explanation.
Their phone line? Automated. Email? No response. WhatsApp? Bot. Chat? Nothing. There is literally no way to reach a human being at this company.
To make things worse, after I posted publicly about my situation, a scammer impersonating MyUS support contacted me on Facebook and nearly tricked me into sending money through a fraudulent money transfer scheme. MyUS's complete absence from their own support channels is creating a hunting ground for criminals targeting their frustrated customers.
I have now filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the FTC, and the Florida Attorney General's office.
I paid $280 for products that are sitting in their warehouse collecting dust. If you are considering using MyUS — think very carefully. When something goes wrong, and it might, you will be completely on your own.
The fact that I do not have to input the Length, Width and Height when calculating shipping rates, is a game changer for me. The shipping cost estimate options are just enough to see what suits your budget and urgency.
Misleading shipping pricing and poor customer service.
The checkout offers tiered shipping options priced by delivery speed — you pay more for faster delivery and less for slower. However, when my order failed to arrive in the window I paid for, I was told delivery times are not guaranteed.
This is the core problem: if the price is explicitly tied to a delivery timeframe, that timeframe is the service being sold. Charging a premium for speed and then disclaiming any obligation to deliver in that timeframe is, at best, misleading. To make it worse, the customer service response was dismissive rather than offering a refund of the speed premium or any meaningful resolution.
I would not order from them again and would caution others to factor this in before paying for expedited shipping.
I had a problem with what was deemed as "dangerous goods". It was not. I got great help with the issue.
Customer service is absolutely dreadful and the chat is no better. Have given all the tracking numbers, ID package and shipment requests. My package has been processing for over a week. I cannot get any explanation at all.
Following the acquisition by Aramex, MyUS service has returned to its worst levels. Despite minor improvements noted in my previous 2019 review, recent performance is unacceptable. My latest shipment arrived in 16 days—twice the estimated 8-day timeframe. Choosing Aramex for shipping was a mistake, as the price savings do not justify such extreme delays.
Scammers! The actual cost of delivery is 3 TIMES HIGHER than the one frome their shipping calculator. Keep away from that crap!

Before choosing MyUS, I did my research and explicitly contacted their support team to confirm a very specific shipping rule. I have a package with lithium batteries (UN3481) and I needed to be 100% sure I could ship it to Brazil EXCLUSIVELY using UPS.
Their support agent explicitly guaranteed me in writing that DHL and FedEx were not allowed for this route and that I MUST use UPS. Based entirely on this positive guarantee, I trusted MyUS, created an account, and sent my package to their warehouse.
Now that my package is literally held hostage in their facility, they completely changed the rules. The system hides the UPS option, and their support team is now insisting and forcing me to use DHL or FedEx—the exact couriers their own agent told me I couldn't use!
I reached out to them with screenshots of their own pre-sales promise, but they refuse to fix the issue and unlock the UPS option. This is the literal definition of Bait-and-Switch and False Advertising. I feel completely scammed and deceived. I came to this company looking for a specific service they guaranteed to provide, and the moment they got my package, they forced me into something else.
If they do not honor their written guarantee and unlock my UPS option immediately, I will be forced to pay a domestic fee to transfer my package to a competitor. Avoid MyUS if you expect a company to keep its word.
Best service available. Perfect track record over several years. Had bad experience with another shipping service before finding MyUS.com. Can trust them and would recommend to everyone. Things only available in U.S. no longer an issue now.
Not safe. My prada sunglasses valued at $500 were robbed or went missing and I was not reimbursed. I took a HUGE LOSS. 😭. Beware don't ship luxury items. Not to be trusted. Upset.
Absolute nightmare trying to get invoices released with this company. Always trying to get you to pay more money to get packages inspected. Payed insurance for a parcel that was delivered to an unsafe location & went missing. They’ve refused responsibility for this along with FedEx. This has left me £150 out of pocket. Avoid using this company. Also agents cut you off in the chat option & never give you answers to your questions.
I ordered a sofa on Wayfair in January 2026. arrived in Sarasota warehouse at MYUS.Com Shipped to Colombia and arrived at airport in 1st week of February.. and STAYED THERE. 3 months later after messaging them EVERY DAY because there is NOBODY you can speak to ONLY WHATSAPP !!! they admit to me they are abandoning the order and its up to me to pick the item upIN COLOMBIA. I fly to colombia and go to the Fedex location where my package is at and they are not allowed to give this directly to me without a SHIPPING BROKER. I run all around this city trying to find a broker to hire only to find out the package is cancelled and not available for pick up anymore.

So, I wanted to test this company because, I want to buy a pair of eyeglasses from the USA because the lens is only offered by a specific company in the USA. before buying the eyeglasses, I bought a USB Type-C to Type-C from Amazon. I had Amazon deliver to the address MyUS provides you when signing up. Amazon delivered to the address, I tried submitting a shipping request, and had a few faults that needed to be resolved. I contacted support, they responed within a reasonable time considering the time difference (7 hours) FYI; the fault was on my side. Friday 10 April 2026 the shipping request was confirmed, FedEx(priority) picked it up the same day, and traveled over the weekend to South Africa specifically, Cape Town. Today, Tuesday 14 April 2026 it was delivered. 3 day, (not including today, because it came early this morning) to come from USA to SA, CPT is AMAZING. Thank you MyUS.com.

Terrible experience with the UK warehouse. My package has been sitting there for 5 days without being logged. Attempting to get help from customer service is a waste of time. One of the agents literally copy-pasted the same script 10 times and then ended the session. Incompetent service and zero accountability for customers' items.
I have been a customer with them for 1 years. I have no complaints regarding package security or delivery time however, customer service is poor. Quoted $50 for a 7.55 lb package from the UK to Oman on the shipping request. Declined insurance fees as they were coffee capsules.A figure of 16lbs was also shown discreetly on the shipping notice. Total was $50. Disappointed to see $100 taken from my debit card. This equates to a charge for 16 lbs. When the shipment arrived, the actual weight was 7.55lbs. Two email queries to explain the fees were ignored. I have cancelled my account. I would not recommend this company to anyone
One of the few times I am truly upset with the handlers.
MyUS handlers and packagers are known to damage items. It has happened to me many times, but this time they opened a poster tube. Those tubes are rock hard, so the handler pulled the posters out with such force that it caused corner creases.
These are limited-edition posters, with only 60 copies made worldwide. I am beyond upset.
MyUS customer service is clueless. They actually think shipping caused the damage. Anyone who collects BNG posters knows that, in its history, a poster has never been damaged during shipping. The tube is rock hard, and the posters do not move, so they cannot be damaged.
MyUS customer service also told me that because I selected no insurance, they cannot do much. How about not damaging items when they arrive at my suite? Insurance should not be needed when the item arrived in perfect condition until a MyUS employee opened the package to take pictures, like someone who does not know how posters should be handled. You do not just pull them out; you leave them inside if you can see that it is a poster.
I demand a full refund for this. On top of that, the packagers decided to throw away the Bath & Body Works shopping bags. I have pictures showing how they arrived in my suite with the bags, and when they arrived here, they were no longer included.

Very bad experience. Nobody seems to know what is going on. I have been trying to return my package for 23 days, and nothing has happened.
They are not transparent and often give misleading information. It takes an extremely long time just to log a package into the system. There is no proper communication channel—only an online chat with employees who do not seem informed and cannot provide clear answers. It even feels like there is no communication between their own teams.
I would never use this service again
