I don't suggest this company at all. They marked my box as shipped and I hadn't received it for 3 weeks, so I contacted the company. They said they hadn't shipped my box (despite marking it as shipped) because an item was out of stock. No one relayed that to me. They gave me the option to choose another product. I was so frustrated with the lack of communication, I requested a refund. They refused to refund me and said that, "The current billing cycle is already in progress, so refunds aren’t available for this cycle." I ended up having to file a dispute with my credit card company. Never again.

Usually good but not this time
Always received really good communication from this company but the last order I placed in January 2025 has never been shipped and they are just not responding to any of my emails. I wont be ordering from here again which is a shame because until now, I have always had a good experience. I wonder if they have suddenly gone bust.
Edit: The box finally arrived on 19th March 2025 but I have still had zero communication from the company and the shipping date says 12th March 2025. I still wont be ordering again.
Scam - same as the other reviews
Just like many of the other reviews already stated, I ordered a box that never arrived. Very similar experience from the others - received an email saying a package was ready to ship and I would receive an email from the courier. Website is a scam.

Don't buy of these scammers, We bought items from this company on the 21st of November last year that was meant to arrive before Christmas 2024. We never received any of the items even now. we have emailed them a few time and they just kept saying its coming next week, with it never arriving. It is now almost 3 months later and they just stopped replying to our emails and we never received the items that we paid $100's for. Bunch of SCAMMERS

This company takes your money and never ships out your box. I have emailed and asked for a refund since I know my box has not been shipped out yet because I haven't received an email saying so or tracking information. They emailed me a copy and pasted message saying they can't provide me a refund because my order is in transit but they can't give me tracking information. This company lies and steals money. How is it that you shipped my package but can't provide me my tracking number. I will never order from them again and will be contacting my bank to get my money back.

It is now December 18th and my order hasn't even been filled yet, let alone shipped.
I reached out a week after I purchased and was told by Denise that they switched couriers and I could expect my box within the week. Clearly lies. I emailed a few days ago requesting a cancellation and refund and, not surprisingly, no response from Seoulbox.
In summary, do not order from here. They will steal your money, you will never receive your box, and customer service is a nightmare.
Won't refund even though they hadn't shipped yet
I bought a 6 month shipment and somehow auto-renew was on but I would never sign up for auto-renew anything. The same day they charged me I asked to cancel and give me a refund. The customer support person said they couldnt and would give me 80% refund and ship the first box. I said okay, but they kept stalling responses to my multiple emails until it was a few weeks from my first email and they decided to not honor this as the first one shipped out by then. I would NOT recommend buying from this company, regardless of the quality of the boxes (which were actually great). Terrible customer service, expensive, shady tactics.
Never received my package. No refunds
I ordered a box, but it never arrived. On the tracking system, it only shows that a shipping label was created. I reached out twice with the issue including my order number in the emails only to receive generic emails saying that they will look into it. However, no action seems to have ever been taken. There is no transparency and honesty. Despite waiting for over a year, I never received a box and the company never offered a refund or to "send" a new box. DO NOT BUY from this company.
Don't buy it find someone trustworthy
I didn't get 4 out of 6 boxes. Horrible experience, horrible customer services. They add cost of delivery to the price of your box so you are forced to pay huge taxes. Don't recommend. I lost a lot of money and I am deeply disappointed.

Ordered a six month subscription from Seoul Box. The boxes are great when you get them. The problem is when ! Most boxes arrived late really late and one didn’t arrive at all. No customer service no communication. If you want to test your patience go ahead and give this a try. There are other subscription boxes out there. I suggest maybe trying one of those instead.

The box itself is ok, but the service is TERRIBLE. I purchased a 3 month subscription as a gift to my mother in law, who is taking a trip to Seoul in the new year. None of these boxes were delivered without me chasing them first. Every time its got to 2/3 weeks past its due date and i had to send an email to "remind" them to send the box. I would have liked to keep the next 3 month subscription but i'd have to keep emailing to remind them to send it. Not what you would expect from a subscription company. If you have time on your hands to constantly chase, then maybe its for you. Not for me.
Avoid this company
Ordered 1 box for a Christmas gift early December. They emailed me 2 days before my box was supposed to arrive saying that I didn’t pay enough in shipping fees due to an error on their website during checkout as I paid $4.90 instead of $12.50. I had no idea what the “correct” amount was as I’ve never purchased before so I assumed what they were charging me was correct. It’s not my fault that the system had an error but they said they wouldn’t ship if I didn’t pay the extra shipping fee. So my hands were tied. They tried to charge me $12.50 instead of the difference of what I paid and emailed back of their error again trying to charge an incorrect amount. They fixed the amount to $7.60. I paid and then they ghosted me. Never sent me shipping or tracking information. Never responded to my emails asking for an update and subsequently for a refund. I finally got sick of waiting and had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Buyer beware they will just straight up ignore you after they have your money and never send you the item.
Beautiful, but received an old box
The box is beautiful, well packed, arrived in a week and a half. The problem is I ordered it in December as a Christmas gift and I received the October box. So I’m stuck wondering if the snacks are still fresh, and I was really looking forward to the December box because it had grapefruit tea (my sisters favorite flavor) and I really wanted to try the tteokbokki. It’s just a bummer because it’s a beautiful box, but I feel like I didn’t get what I paid for.

It's unfortunate that the service is marred with misleading marketing and guerrilla sales practices. KEEP. IT. SIMPLE. But where it once was the best for products, now, in a sea of competition the practices have me looking elsewhere. They waste time money and energy for that one sale and lose loyal customers who have been around from the beginning. Good luck with that.

Fantastic Treats and Service from My Seoulbox!
I just received my first My Seoulbox and I'm thrilled! The snacks are delicious and the shipping was surprisingly fast. I've already recommended it to my friends and family, and I can't wait for my next box!

Surprise customs charges costing MORE than the box
