This company is a scam that’s preying on women. They deserve to be sued to oblivion for scamming and lying. I’ve had this subscription for literal YEARS and have never not once received any gel pad refills. You can’t cancel your subscription and you won’t get your products either.

I have been using Livia for the last 2 years. At first I was uncertain and nervous but as someone who suffers from endometriosis, I was willing to try anything. This device is amazing!!!!! It is so worth the money. It's compact, convenient to carry, easy to charge, and the staff are easy to deal with if there are any issues

First, the product took 2 months to arrive (when they guaranteed 30 days) and in the meantime, they were charging me a subscription for a product I did not yet have.
Second, this device made my annoying but manageable pain into something 100x worse. I was crying, covered in cold sweat, about to pass out, and threw up from the pain. Which never happened to me until I used the device.
Third, immediately after this experience, I went to cancel the subscription. Except that I couldn't, it wouldn't let me, despite me fulfilling the conditions for it. I had to message the customer service and even then it took time.
And lastly, it's been almost 3 years since my horrible experience, canceling the subscription and throwing their dangerous product into the trash, AND THEY'RE STILL TRYING TO CHARGE ME FOR A SUBSCRIPTION!!! I just got an email asking me to update my payment info because they can't bill me!!!
What an absolute scam of a company.

I got this for my daughter who suffers with horrible cramping pain. During her period, she was medicating around the clock for 5-6 days and still suffering. She was literally miserable for 1 week a month!! 25% of her life was miserable! The first day that she used her Livia, she came to me shocked! She had pain relief that she never got from medicine. She has not needed to take a single dose of Motrin or Tylenol since we got the Livia almost a year ago. That's no exaggeration! As a nurse, I'm familiar with how Livia works... But I didn't expect it to work that well! I have recommended this to all of her friends, and I recommend it to everyone! It's very well made, no issues with the device. The pads are high quality and comfortable. And its size is perfectly discreet... No one even knows she's using it. I'm so thankful for this little magic box that has helped my daughter reclaim 25% of her days!! If I could give it 10⭐... I would!

My experience with Livia was very bad.
I used the option with a subscription, I was charged the initial subscription fee, + the monthly fee a month later, while I had still not received the product...
I had to complain to the customer service to finally get the Livia delivered.
Then, I never received any gel refill, while the subscription fee continued being charged every month...
At this point, it almost feels like a scam.
In the end, the product wasn't used much, so I just paid for pretty much nothing.
Very bad experience.
(might be important: I am located in Germany, maybe the service in the US is better)

My daughter was diagnosed with endometriosis when she was 16. With it being an unpredictable and extremely painful condition, we could not rely on medication alone. Livia offered her an alternative to relieve her pain and with it being so discreet, she could use it when she was at school. Livia now forms a compulsory part of our pain management system. Ordering our replacement stock is easy enough with our Livia online account and we are thankful for an international team that supports us all the way to South Africa.

Update: After my comment (below) Adi from Livia took time to understand what was going on and sent me a new Livia, which has none if the issues that my previous Livia had. I regret that it took so long but at least, now the issue is solved. So it's only fair to mention it. FYI prefer to buy your Livia on their website, it will save you a lot of time and issues if you need to contact them about your device.
Original comment: Do not buy it. It was great, now it's a bad joke. It used to be a life-changing product for me. It took a few times to work first and then it was great for a few years, until I needed a new one in 2023 (February). There is an issue: the Livia is disconnected from the cable at almost any movement and more importantly, it can charges for 3-6 hours or more and it will work for only 1h30 max, every single time. I contacted the company when I realized those issues a few months after buying it and their only option was that I could buy a new one. This isn't cheap, there is an issue with it and they don't care at all, they won't change it, they will not give your money back and they dare tell you to buy a new one. This is why my advice is now to avoid this company.
Update: Livia replied to this message, saying that I contacted them about my device bought 3 years earlier. I did bought one in 2020 and this one was working well until the end of 2022. My last Livia was bought at the end of February 2023, I contacted them in May and in June they told me that it was "already out of warranty" while their website says that it has 2 years warranty.

When your cramps are so bad that you can not function, have to stay home from school/work and cry on the toilet for hours... There's Livia. This device has given a portion of my life back to me and I no longer live in fear of my once of month painful visitor. Livia + Help from my OBGYN gives me hope that period pain doesn't need to be unbearable misery. Horrible company and product! I sent my unit back because it was defective, it took forever to get my refund, and then they didn't even send me the full amount! They deducted shipping, so basically I had to pay for shipping TWICE! Once to get a broken product, and the second time to send the broken product back. Absolutely ridiculous! Save your money and just get a normal tens unit if you need it. You can get those off Amazon and they don't screw you over like this company does. Terrible customer service.
Edit 11/23/23: Now this company keeps trying to dispute my review because they don't want anyone to see how terrible they are. They think because they refunded the original shipping of $4 now that that should take care of it. But I'm still out the $9.65 that it cost to send back a broken unit. To top it all off, they STILL have not removed my credit card information from their website or cancelled my subscription as I have requested multiple times since 11/6/23! Stay away from this place!
Edit 11/29/23: I received a message from the company today stating that they finally cancelled my subscription, however, once again they did not remove my payment information as I have repeatedly asked them to do. I don't have the option to remove it myself (which is absolutely ridiculous), and they have zero reason to keep it on file. This is very shady business practices.

Had it for a year almost and it really helps definitely takes the pain of cramps and makes it different. In my case since I have an IUD it makes my cramps more bearable. Good alternative to taking medicine constantly.

I began my Livia journey a year ago and haven’t had any regrets 💕I was always taking at least 3 Tylenols to help with cramps and knew in the long run how bad that would be for my liver, and really wanted to stop having to use medicine for pain. Using the Livia along with changing my diet and drinking more herbal teas has made major improvements in my menstrual cycle. Ive only had to replace the flower pads once due to me incorrectly storing.
