Using mySites.guru is like having another webmaster at your disposal. I cannot see how you can manage your websites without using their services. From security notices, monitoring downtime, warning about logins, scanning websites, optimizing speed, bulk updates and so much more, they are crucial to our success.

I just (few hours ago) moved from a website monitoring competitor to mySites.guru. It is awesome in every detail, intuitive and a great software at a really reasonable price. Just stunning.

Phil is amazing! Had a real issue migrating a multisite WordPress website. Lost the data in the process of removing the multisite - restored and ready for migration within a few hours. Honestly cannot recommend Phil enough - you're an absolute life saver! Thank you!

I have used this for managing my Joomla sites and Wordpress sites all in one place. it has been huge source of learning for me, especially when it comes choosing the settings that will make my sites most secure. I also appreciate the variety of emails that I am sent alerting me to activities such as key files being edited, new user accounts being created on sites, and backups that have failed. All of these are customizable for choosing exactly which alerts I want to receive.

is the owner a bit eccentic? well, yes, sometimes, but this is only because he genuinely cares about his product AND his customers! I hope he never stops his business, or I would be *insert swear words here* .

you really shouldn't be looking at any other tool, if you are an agency or you have to keep a couple of sites running, buy the subscription! I completely recommend it!

A single 1 star review on here of receiving spam by mySites.guru is very misleading. You have fine grained control over every type of email it sends you. Literally you can switch each one off or on, that simple.

As for Phil himself, his support is exceptional. I have literally had no experience of any individual or organisation anywhere that is as knoweldgable in their field, helpful, and fast to respond.

For more than a decade Phil has fixed every website problem we've asked him to, and has saved our bacon many times - above and beyond. Even when asked some pretty basic questions his responses are always informative, which helps fill any gaps in our knowledge as well as understand a particular problem.

If it were possible to rate mySites.guru and Phil any higher, I would.

Phil is hands down the most competent, talented, educated Joomla backend expert out there.
I've been working with Joomla since 2006ish (long time!) and I've been familiar with Phil almost as long. While I do not know him personally, I have had the pleasure of working with him on some frustrating problems a few times and I subscribe to mysites.guru.
I say pleasure not because he comes across as a warm fuzzy teddy bear sort. He most certainly does not even though he might be the nicest guy in town in person. What he does is knock it out of the park every time because he just plain knows he is doing.

I turn to him when I cannot figure something out or don't have time for an intricate solution. He handles it every single time - quickly and with finesse. One of these days, I will stop wasting my time and just turn right to him at the beginning of a problem.

His mysites.guru system is pure genius. I've been a subscriber for several years and it is THE most useful tool I have for monitoring and managing multiple websites. Joomla AND Wordpress.

He maintains the core and continuously adds new features/functions. It's impressive. There are so many features that most people (myself included) won't ever utilize the system to its fullest capacity.

If you're not impressed with the level of skill it took to build mysites.guru and to maintain it, you are incapable of simple appreciation or you just don't understand the depth of the tool. Either way... The guy is a genius. Trust me on that.

My job would basically be impossible without this service. Nearly all of the necessary functionality is built-in and if you have more than 10 Joomla / WordPress websites, you really can't effectively do your job without MySites.Guru. We pretty much use every inch of the service right down to notating the DNS contact in the account. Easily schedule backups, audit sites, review changes, perform upgrades, and tag websites/accounts for service levels and more.

Support is quick problems are resolved quickly.

I have been a customer for many years, Nothing short of awesome, before Mysites supported wordpress I did try several other solutions, but all seemed hard work, unreliable, expensive and impossible to get any kind of support from.
Phil provides excellent support, in record time, every-time and the system just works. it has everthing you need to keep on-top of your sites.

I've been using MySites.Guru for a number of years. I manage over 25 sites for clients and other organizations. Managing sites is not my 'core' business, but is very important to my client base. I couldn't keep up with managing all these sites without mySites.guru.
Additionally, I've 'inherited' client sites that were hacked or otherwise 'broken'. Phil's expertise with Joomla - esp. Joomla sites with problems, is matched by NOBODY (well, nobody that offer 'site fixing' as a service). There hasn't been a site that he couldn't fix. Even sites that were supposedly 'fixed' by other de-hacking service companies are not an issue for him.
Additionally Phil is a regular contributor to the CMS core, as a volunteer.
mySites.guru is one of the best all-around support services out there for anyone maintaining Joomla (or WordPress).

I initially signed up to the subscription service due to a hacked Joomla website. The tools provided are excellent and these allowed me to locate all hacked files and carry out a successful repair myself.

I have continued to make use of the subscription since and would recommend this service as being essential to anyone with a Joomla based website as it will allow you to spot such issues before they arise.

Today I encountered a serious issue relating to the hosting environment which was preventing our website from generating income and causing our clients some distress.

Having contacted the website hosts who were unable to fix the issue I decided to hire Phil for a very affordable fixed fee.

The problem was solved in minutes and I was provided a full explanation as to what had caused the issue and how to prevent it from recurring. I could not be happier and should I ever need Phil's professional help again I would not hesitate for a second.
