Ok today is day 4! Guava claims they still have my $1035 on hold, I am still locked out of my account, they has asked me for proof of the cards I have used to top-up my account, I have given it to them, they have asked me what the money was meant for and I told them it was for my rent and I let them know I was sending the money from my guava to my husband’s acct who is also a guava user. Now they are asking me to prove I have rent to pay and to prove my relationship with my husband. This is clearly now a joke to Guava. And I can see you do not intend to release my money so I guess it’s time to go to the press! This ends with me now!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME – POSSIBLE SCAM!
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Myguava. They approached me to open an account, which I did, and later offered me a business account. I provided multiple valid proof of residence documents, including my bank statement and electricity bill, as well as my driving license. Despite this, they kept asking for more documents, only to suddenly close my personal account without explanation – even though I hadn’t even used it yet, not a single transaction!
They also never got back to me about the business account. Instead, they sent me a generic email saying they were closing my account but refused to provide any reasons. It’s deeply concerning that they collected all my sensitive personal documents and then shut down my account without cause.
This experience raises serious red flags about their credibility, and I strongly advise others NOT to trust this app with your personal information. I will be reporting their actions to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for further investigation. If you’re looking for a reliable banking service, avoid this one at all costs!

Got the money and no refund
They stopped an e transfer payment. I sent a CIBC transfer confirmation showing the transaction is complete. Now they are insisting the bank contact them regarding this matter. Guavapay deposited the money and have no intension returning my $1600.00 Don't do business. You can only call them scammers. I have contacted your support team 6 times. It should only take you minutes to find the transaction My name Feb 1 the email address, the amount and the deposit number. I sent bank confirmation papers. Nobody tried to help

We are extremely disappointed with our experience using MyGuavapay as our e-commerce payment processor. While we understand that they may be suitable for smaller businesses, their platform is completely inadequate for the needs of an established e-commerce business like ours.
Their back-office software is incredibly clunky and difficult to use, and their technical support team lacks the expertise to assist with even basic e-commerce issues. We have encountered significant problems with refund processing, with MyGuavapay failing to recognise refunds processed through our WooCommerce platform.
This has resulted in a critical cash flow issue, with over £23,000 of our funds being withheld for over five weeks without any explanation. This blockage of funds is severely hindering our business operations and causing significant disruption.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, communication has been frustratingly circular. We have provided ample evidence of processed refunds, but our concerns are consistently dismissed.
We strongly advise other e-commerce businesses to avoid using MyGuavapay. Their platform is unreliable, their support is inadequate, and their lack of transparency regarding our funds is unacceptable.
*Reply after review - We have been in constant communication with your support team, but our emails continue to be ignored. Even your sales representative, has been following up on the same email chain without receiving a reasonable response. The only swift reply we've received from you has been on this platform.
