Great customer service and a fantastic product which over the last few years has given me relief from my back pain. I would have no hesitation in recommending BackHug to other sufferers

I found being part of a study to aid my symptoms from parkinsons led to my personal journey being more of a great benefit.
Not for all but definitely 100% benefitting from my weekly sessions. Not for all but only once you have tried it for yourself.

I love my BackHug. I always feel better and have more energy after a session. I miss it when I am away from home.

I suffer from a few conditions that cause my joints to stiffen, which led to a domino effect of back, neck and shoulder pain. I'd been seeing a physio once a fortnight to manually loosen the facet joints in my spine before I came across Backhug in 2024. I spent 3-4 months debating whether it would assist before I bit the bullet and subscribed. I used the device for around a month and saw some relief - and then foolishly stopped as some other symptoms worsened and I got paranoid I may worsen or trigger them through use. Fast forward a year and another 108 physio visits and I realised the physio was simply doing what the Backhug did, but would only focus on one area of my spine due to time limits.
I put my previous fear to one side and started using Backhug again. After an 11 month break, I'd lost familiarity with some of the app features and there was a new feature I hadn't seen before. I emailed Backhug with a number of questions about the features, use and positioning and received a substantive response to each question and advice from Kristen, who couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. I also asked if it was possible to amend my subscription for a further period and Kristen sorted this within a few days. Absolutely phenomenal customer service.
I've now been back using Backhug for 5 weeks and I'm feeling the benefits, especially after a long day of desk work. On my recent 2 physio visits this last month, my physio noticed straightway that the usual culprit joints in my neck and thoracic spine were much less rigid than usual and was amazed at the difference. She was more amazed when I told her I'd been lying on robotic fingers 2-3 times a week. I've now been able to reduce my visits to once every 6 weeks to monitor changes. If you are debating trialling Backhug, my advice is to go for it. And a huge thanks to Kristen for such customer focussed service.

Excellent massage. I use BackHug 3 or 4 times a week and it really makes a difference to my back.

Great product to have at work, especially in workspaces not designed to have many relaxed areas.

Could make the settings higher or lower as needed for my comfort.
Scanned my back for problem areas and adjusted it for each area around my spine.
I think this is a great product! As a doctor I think this is has a lot of promise for helping reduce back pain and am excited to keep track of its results. I’ll be using it myself in the meantime anyway.

We recently introduced BackHug into our company for the use of employees. Very positive feedback from them on the easiness of booking through to use of the equipment itself. Many employees have now used BackHug on more than one occasion and cannot wait until their next session. Very easy to adjust to your own personal preference, very relaxing and makes you feel refreshed after a 20 minute session.

This felt really good on my back, neck and shoulders. The heat was an added benefit and treat! Will continue doing this on a weekly basis.

I played pickleball all day and my back was sore and really tight in my lower right side. After the massage I was brand new and ready to get back out on the court.

Brilliant product
We just loved having the BackHug and so many of our colleagues noticed the difference that it made to their back health. Not only that, but the BackHug team were brilliant to work with - understanding and supportive.
We had a few teething issues to begin with and the team were quick to fix and troubleshoot. We asked for them to change the programme settings and they did so for us.

The BackHug works perfectly, I’ve never had a fault and it such a lovely relief after a day at work. It’s heated, and you can pick your different settings for your needs. Highly recommended for anyone who has back problems or just want a massage!

I came across this device in the Supplement to a Sunday Paper. I took it on a short trial, but was not sure about it because I am tall (just under 2m). However, Kristen from BackHug gave me a follow up call to see how I was getting on. So I followed her recommendation regarding set up, and after a few sessions I was convinced. I signed up for an annual subscription. The flexibility to use it any time without having to book an appointment or brave the traffic and weather is a game changer. It is not a miracle cure, but it made a huge improvement to my quality of life. I used it in combination with Pilates (floor-work) and some other remedial exercises. My hours of uninterrupted sleep increased. My range of movement improved. I resumed working out.

BackHug is truly a game-changer: brilliant app, great design, fantastic customer service, and everything you want a product to do / a company to be. I’ll be recommending it to all!

The Backhug has been working wonders for my back problems.
Have been using it on a daily basis for more than a half year. The massage/physio therapy “sessions” feels great, and the constant lower back pain i have been suffering from for more than a decade, are not constant any more, and a lot less intense than before i started.
My wife is equally deligted, and the only problem i Can see is that we spend approximately an hour each on the Backhug daily, and miss it dearly when we are away.
The backhug Company are a very dedicated Crew, and fast to respond to any problems.
When i invested in the device i was the first danish customer, and a little concerned about sending a large sum of mony overseas for a product i did not know and could not try in advance, In hindsigth i Will say it is my best investment in years.

This is a serious bit of kit to have in your house. It is the only device which I have ever found which actually replicates the way a physio works on your back. I am a big lad, and most ‘massage’ devices simply aren’t strong enough to work on me. The Backhug is sufficiently strong that I don’t even need to turn it up to full strength. Similarly, the heatpad is really good. I only set it to low and it’s plenty warm enough. The app works brilliantly and the company are superbly responsive and helpful. Very highly recommended.
