Musicbed took me seriously as an artist right from the beginning!

Musicbed gave me a quick and sincere response to my inquiry about how I can best share my music with them. It made me feel they were taking me seriously right from the beginning. No condescending vibe at all and that says a lot about a company that works in such an insanely competitive space. I can't recommend their services highly enough.

Horrible subscription trap

They will trick you to a yearly subscription (with 12 installments being the fine print) to a music subscription service that doesn't match their -many- competitors in either quality or value.

I love Musicbed. Their memberships are very reasonable. The group CHPTRS is my go-to
Group, and I just discovered the group 100 Years. So many talented musicians!

Be Careful When Subscribing to Musicbed

I want to warn other creators — especially small YouTubers — to be very careful before subscribing to Musicbed.

I am a tiny content creator and had uploaded only my first three personal, non-monetized vlog videos. None of them had more than 300 views, and my channel doesn’t promote any business in the traditional sense.

But let’s be honest:
Almost every creator has some connection to their profession — maybe a book, a skill, or just sharing their life.
That’s normal. That’s what YouTube is for.

Despite this, Musicbed contacted me and said my videos violated their Creator License because my YouTube page had links connected to my work. They wrote:

“Each video and YouTube landing page cannot feature links to products for sale, businesses, or additional services…
Removing the videos is not an acceptable solution…
You must either buy single-song licenses ($350/song) or upgrade your subscription.”

For me, this was shocking and disappointing. I genuinely believed the Creator License covered small creators using music in simple videos. Instead, I was told I had to pay hundreds of dollars per song or upgrade to a $1,000+ license — for three tiny videos with almost no views.

In my opinion, asking for such high fees from small creators, especially for minimal, personal content, is unfair and goes against what creator platforms should stand for.

If you’re thinking about subscribing to Musicbed, read the fine print very carefully. What looks like a simple creator-friendly license can quickly become expensive and complicated.

Musicbed has been an absolute game-changer for my work, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience so far. From the very beginning, everything has felt professional, reliable, and genuinely built for creatives who need great music without wasting time.

First of all, the service is incredibly fast. Whenever see I have a question—whether it’s about licensing, usage, or finding the right option for a specific project—I get answers quickly and clearly. It makes a huge difference to have real support available when you’re on a deadline and need something sorted out immediately.

When I’m working on a project with a specific mood or pacing in mind, it’s straightforward to audition options and narrow down choices without getting overwhelmed.

Overall, Musicbed delivers exactly what I need: an outstanding music library, quick and excellent support, and a smooth user experience. If you’re a filmmaker, photographer, or creator who cares about music quality and wants a service you can rely on, I would absolutely recommend Musicbed.

BE AWARE!!!!!!!

Musicbed is a horrible service. They sold me a license to music, that instantly got claimed, they would not respond to the support inquiries to remediate it then weeks later threatened me that I needed to pay their upgraded business tier license or else. When I wouldn’t, they claimed I cancelled my subscription and they filed a copyright strike against me to be vindictive, all while I still had a valid license. DO NOT USE MusicBed. Crap music, worse service and total scam operation that are just trying to shake you down as a small creator.

Very scammy behaviour with there cancellation model

Music was ok at start but ran out of choice very quickly, main issue is its not clear that your signing up to a 12 month contract and then they don’t allow you to cancel or switch of auto renew, you can only cancel the month leading up to the end of the first year and if you miss that your sucked into another 12 months, very scammy behaviour, avoid at all costs, better music from other services that treat customers with respect.
