We're sorry to read of your experience here.
To address some points: we do not give exact time slots as you stated due to the distances involved - you are 150+ miles from our base - however we do give estimated times of arrival.
Unfortunately one of the team did indeed call in sick in the morning - however the office team didn't know this until arriving at work for 9am. We are a small business and do not have an out of hours team - unfortunately from time to time unexpected things such as staff illness or vehicle breakdowns may occur and we deal with them as best we can.
At 09:13 they contacted you to let you know. We dispute your claim that you only found out as a result of repeatedly chasing us... you found out within 15 minutes of the office team arriving for work and immediately contacting you after establishing the facts and trying to figure out a solution for you.
Within half an hour of this communication, we'd re-arranged for another team who were in Surrey to drive over to Norfolk, adding some 4 hours to their already long day - to take over this job so it could still be done the same day for you - you agreed to this and agreed that the additional help was to still be provided as this hot tub would need dragging at least 250m over rough terrain.
The team assessed that the shrubbery and general greenery in the wooded pathway area behind the property was not going to make this move possible in a safe and controlled manner. The hot tub was not to the dimensions you initially provided meaning it would be higher in the air and numerous tree branches would pose an issue.
The additional help that was agreed was not present and it was not practical or safe for our team to push and drag a large hot tub over 250m over inconsistent terrain by themselves.
They did not attempt to move the hot tub as we didn't want to lift and drag your spa and then have to put it back down again, risking potential damage, for a job that was not possible for us to complete.
This assessment was made based on over a decade of experience of moving hot tubs. The full payment was due in line with our terms and conditions which you agreed to.
Any other issues are being discussed via email exchange and we have offered a goodwill gesture and the offer of returning at a discounted rate.

Had 2 guys Simon and Scott come today to do the spar move. Wow they did a first class job. I had considered trying to do the job myself, I do have mates and transport, but after watching closely these guys I am so glad I didn’t try myself.

Really easy process and experience from start to finish
Really easy from viewing in the showroom, selecting the right hot tub for us, arranging delivery and finance and the installation team arrived bang on time were really pleasant hard working chaps and fitted the hot tub quickly and efficiently- can’t wait to get in and take a dip!!

Excellent service. Very patient as we identified dates for the move and then very efficient on the day. Pick-up, drive 2.5hrs, drop-off all done by 1115 in the morning! Very polite delivery team (Simon and Scott).

Excellent service
Move your Spa were excellent. The booking process was easy, and they confirmed the day before that they were coming as booked and that we would be the final customer. The disposal of the hotrub was done quickly without any issues.
