Carefully attentive movers listened to my concerns and were responsive to arrange my move.

We moved a small office of 7 people in midtown Manhattan. These guys made the process smooth - lined up all the insurance with buildings, even one building that was very picky. They packed up our computers and monitors and did a good job. Easy to work with and straightforward.

Such nice guys! We are terrible packers and absolutely hate moving and they really worked with us to make it a good experience. They had a really good attitude the whole time and I really think that made the whole experience great. Moving is stressful and they made it less so! Highly recommend them!

From the flexibility and the professionalism of the front office, to the promptness ans efficiency of the movers. MNS helped to minimize the stress that is often involved with moving. I would definitely use them again.

Movers, Not Shakers was recommended by a friend and now it's my time to do a shout out! Professional service from the get go, starting from the time the quote was created. The actual moving team was super fast and did such a great + careful job moving us into our 5th floor walk-up. Reasonable rates. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Movers, Not Shakers!! I would use them again.

I had a move of a few large furniture items to a storage facility scheduled for 1:30pm, and had taken off from work to do so. When movers not shakers finally showed up at 4:45, it had just started snowing, and my storage facility was due to close at 7pm. While they did technically get it all done in time, I was forced to drive an hour through a dangerous snowstorm and everything done quickly. I had assumed during and after the move I would have time to properly prepare my furniture items for long term storage and arrange things in an organized fashion within my storage space. Unfortunately, they arrived at the storage space with my stuff just past 6:30 with only enough time to pile stuff inside and get out.

When I saw what was coming (when they were still only 2 hours late) I asked to reschedule even though I had taken off from work, and they would not accommodate. I was not offered any compensation for the poor service or the waste of my time, or forcing me to drive through a snowstorm that I would have completely missed had they been on time. Thoroughly and completely unacceptable.

Moving guys were great and very professional. I highly recommend them!

Excellent! Everyone who came to our 5 story walk up, did everything swiftly, politely, and with no damage. We had the same crew on the other side, and they again, did everything quickly. It was a lot easier than I thought. Thank you!

The office staff is a bit aggressive and sloppy, and the contact with this part of the company has not been great for the now two moves I have done. However, the logistical staff that actually are carrying ot the physical move is really professional, efficient and easy to deal with, this later fact does that I can recommend this service provider to other people moving house.

Movers and Shakers arrived on time with a large crew. They worked efficiently to wrap up the delicate items and load the truck. The total cost was what they quoted me, and there were no surprises. They were easy to coordinate with before moving day.

Everything upto the move went well, but they damaged our baby crib by taking it apart and reassembling, splitting the wood and leaving dangerous screws sticking out. They refused to accept responsibility despite photo evidence and were incredibly rude on the phone.

These movers were absolutely amazing!! I worked with Kevin, Isidro and Rafael. All three guys were totally professional, fast and efficient. They were incredibly careful with my belongings. I could not be happier with how it went.
Scheduling was a breeze and i loved using the reusable GREEN boxes! It was totally worth it.

Our move was very smooth. MNS team arrived slightly later than scheduled but they had called us to let us know. We were very pleased by their work, professionalism and expertise. Thank you!

Movers, Not Shakers was extremely easy to work with, before, during, after the move. They explained in advance exactly what they would do; they came on time. They were courteous and pleasant and put me at ease about having strangers in my home handling all of my possessions. They packed and handled everything with care. When they had questions about what I wanted done, they asked. They somehow managed to get my sofa through a very narrow door without damaging it. At the other end, they put everything where I wanted it and did no damage to the apartment. When I reported, a few days later, that I had emptied all of their crates, they came right away to remove them quickly and quietly. They even followed up to make sure I was satisfied with how things had gone.
In short, they made what is by its nature a very stressful experience as easy to deal with as possible and took a huge burden off of me.
