We had an absolutely terrible…

We had an absolutely terrible experience with Solutions8. I had a chat with the rep "Mary Morris" about having them run our ads for our ecommerce store. Once she shared the fees they charged and the monthly min spend, I explained to her that we only had a small (>$4500) budget available and that we simply couldn't afford their services at this time, but that we would return later when we had more funds.

She then offered to have Solutions8 run our ads for a month trial to see if they could get the program off the ground or just to see if it was at all viable. I was grateful and felt from our chat that Mary truly had a vested interest in seeing us get our business off the ground.

Almost immediately after I paid their service fee ($2000, which I'd repeatedly told her was half of our budget) she stopped replying to emails. I would have to send follow ups each time and would hear back only a week later.

No ads ran over the course of the first 30 days. There was an issue with compliance that caused a delay for a few days but otherwise it was just Sol8 seemingly dragging their feet.

At the 30-day mark, with no ads having run, the company charged us a 2nd $2000 service fee for month 2, effectively wiping out our ad spend and the balance of our budget. (Our balance was a little under $2k, so the charge ultimately was refused, but the attempt was made multiple times).

At this stage, I reached out to Mary and tried to get some sort of explanation as what was going on. She acted as though our chat from a few weeks before never happened and, frankly, seemed like a completely different person. She mentioned how I had failed to cancel within the 30 day period(!) despite the fact that we had agreed to run ads for a month trial run. I felt like I'd been duped into handing over what little funds we had in bad faith. She knew our situation and was now claiming ignorance.

At this stage she simply decided to end the campaign and leave us out of pocket for $2000 in service fees that went towards nothing more than setting up a few Google ads.

We strongly recommend that everyone Solutions8 and will be posting about our experience in other review websites as well. We've since signed on with a more reputable company that has been thoroughly up front and honest with us. I wish we had gone with them earlier instead of relinquishing half our budget to pay the fees for nothing to Solutions8.

Check their Google reviews and you will see that the most recent ones all point to the same issues that the company refuses to take any responsibility for.
