Showed up at my door and was rude
Showed up at my door, no appointment etc. Said 'meter reading' nothing else! Explained it was at back of understairs cupboard and im at home unwell so not able to empty it! Gave me the dirtiest look grunted 'fine' and walked off to his car!! So weird!!
Someone at my door early this morning…
Someone at my door early this morning didn't ring the doorbell
May have knocked, though my Dog knows immediately someone enters our front or back gates and she woke with her very loud barking.
My bedroom is by our front door so I opened it in under 2 minutes.
There was no one nor a vehicle within sight, just an oaf'icious card in the letterbox with terse demands re meter readings.
Dear Morrisson Data Services, after reading your wholly pathetic Trust Pilot reviews I wish to tell you that:
Your employee is a fool or a cheating Scammer who cannot read the clear signs at eye level and next to the doorbell button.
The signs on my Disabled Person's Bungalow, request allowance of time for me, a severely disabled single person, to get to the door.
Any normal person might think, ooh, I might be in the Bathroom and ring/wait accordingly. My regular delivery and ambulance people manage it easily.
Your card demands that I read the meter, which I cannot access.
Send you the readings, which I cannot read and warns of retribution if I do not.
Therefore, I will not be contacting you.
You also appear unaware that, I'm a Council Disabled Tenant with special needs.
My Utilities Supplier and the National Grid have me on their Vulnerable Person's Registers and guarantee that:"NO ONE WILL COME TO MY DOOR WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT."
Also that: "No one needs to, as my SMART METER and my fully guaranteed, Disabled Persons Tariff
arrangements are constantly monitored and regulated.
As this is a review which you probably ignore, I'll copy it to your Administration Centre..........

Pleasant and polite metre reader but keeps his ID badge in the van. Should it not be obligatory to take it with staff at all times ?

I will never ever allow them in my property again until my husband is at home.
They are extremely threatening and nearly barged in!
I am a woman working from home …it’s been a bit scary so no never sgain witj their behaviour
Rude and unprofessional
We received a knock on our door at 8am telling us they would be blocking our private road for 4 - 5 hours!
They treated this visit as if they had a right of access which they do not. We live at the bottom of a private road. There was no attempt to contact us prior to their arrival, no site survey, and no explanation as to why they were coming.
They wanted to replace a telegraph pole (not connected to our house, but on our land). Their huge lorry arrived which would not fit down our lane!
I have called their office 3 times in 5 hours but no one answers or returns my calls! Very poor planning on their part. I will not grant access unless they visit my property, do a proper site survey and provide assurance they will not damage our private property.
Rude technician and shady show up
Unbelievably rude, condescending, misogynistic, and intrusive!
Morrisons Data Services just entered our private property, started recording without any consent, entered the building, entered the electrical system without any permission or even an announcement! What kind of unprofessional, fishy, disgusting behaviour!
How is it possible that someone just shows up at your doorstep, behaves like a mad rude person, messes with the electic system in the building while recording you on your day off (I wasn't even presentable!) and then takes off like this. Unacceptable on all accounts!!!!
My landlady was never informed about any of this. If a company behaves unprofessionally like this, how is a customer supposed to know if this isn't criminals doing something shady
Physically assaulted by driver
No idea what this company does but I had a driver assault me and bite me after I asked for his insurance details after hitting my car. He attempted to drive off without stopping, I caught up to him on foot asked for his insurance details, the driver then refused after being verbally abusive. He attempted to hit me with the car and then escalated it to bitting me. Unfortunately I didn't get the number plate of the vehicle. Says a lot about a company that will employ people like that to drive for them.
And now I've got to pay out of pocket to fix the damage to my car.
Morrisons data vehicle 8:55 today 4th…
A morrisons data vehicle 8:55 today 4th Sept, was driving round our cul-de-sac. It was raining. He was stearing with his left hand whilst holding some sort of scanner out of the window above the car roof. Is this normal practice? I would have thought it is highly dangerous practice. Post code of the area is SO24 9QN.
Awful customer representatives
Just had one of your drivers purposely block me overtaking on the A27 and then slow down to about 50mph to prevent me passing - with no traffic in front of him. I don't trust a company whose drivers apparently drive intentionally maliciously.
I am disabled woman and the guy knock…
I am disabled woman and the guy knock on the door and was very rude and demanded to have my meter read, he was abusive and the attitude was very disgusting. That was the second time they came to my property, next time they come I will call the police for trespassing and abusive behavior!
Review for Den ID: 537603
Review for: Den: ID 537603
Den arrived on time, called ahead as requested, and clearly explained the process for my landlord meter replacement. His attitude and efficiency were excellent. I oversee over 1,000 properties, and I genuinely hope I meet Den for future meter exchanges, upgrades, and repairs — he sets a high standard. Many thanks again.

I dont know what they do but the man was rude who visited me.
Had a call at our door this morning…
Had a call at our door this morning saying that he was here to do a gas meter reading if it was a convenient time, to which I said no, not really. He didn't give his name, what company he worked for or even show an ID. Also seemed to ignore the 'No cold callers' sign on the door. We've had no correspondance about having a reading and I only knew he was from Morrisons after looking out the window and seeing it on the back of his orange vis. It's 2025, people aren't just going to let strangers into their house unannounced!
Had no acknowledgment of Morrison…
Had no acknowledgment of Morrison visiting, the man turned up onto my property opened my gas meter without even pressing on our ring doorbell then asked if he could enter the property to read my electric meter without saying where he was from or on behalf on. Didn’t show no id luckily I didn’t allow him into my property
Lynne
Dennis was absolutely fantastic
Well mannered and polite. Couldn't have been more helpful. Got on the job no.problem. cleaned up after himself
Showed me patiently how to work the little gadget. If I had any trouble would ask for him again
TOOK A PHOTO OF MY HOUSE
Missed a ring door bell knock from this company while at work today.
Do you wanna tell me why TF this man to a picture of my house when i wasnt there
V poor
V poor. V rude. V unprofessional. V worrying.
A meter reading person turned up and our garage was open because my daughter was cleaning the car. He didn't ask permission and didn't show ID just marched into the garage. When I entered the garage he was already at the back at the meter. Initially he ignored me when I said Hello. Just kept saying meter reading. Eventually he answered my question when I asked who he was and got out some id. V poor. V rude. V unprofessional. V worrying.
Unprofessional and Misleading Tactics
Unprofessional and Misleading Tactics
Someone turned up at my door unannounced at 8:00am claiming they needed to read the meter — even though I have a smart meter that should handle readings automatically. I declined, as there was no prior notice or explanation. Despite this, they left a red card designed to look urgent, implying I was behind on payments, when in fact I’m £200 in credit. This kind of approach feels misleading and unnecessary. Not impressed.

Turned up unannounced ,then says action required.
Call and can't get through..
So left ,unable to give readings.
Leaving an OAP confused!!
