EONE OF THE WORST PURCHASE EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE!
We have bought a Dakar premium bed for our 4-year old son. My wife searched quite a lot prior to the purchase and was convinced by the positive reviews online.
Product arrived on time, but the packages arrived all damaged. No identification at all of Mon Lit Cabane. AT ALL. We opened the boxes, again, no identification of the company. Some of the parts were damaged. The manual was EXTREMELY POOR! Again, no identification of the company. It could be from ANY company in the world (and a cheap one). We tried a first contact with the company and they redirected us to the official channel - a form online. Responses from the customer service are APPALLING. If we wanted to return, we should pay for that (almost 50 euros) + the depreciation of the product. WHAT?
Back and forth of emails, we had another look at the bed, then we noticed that the bed is not stable AT ALL.
We then called to their customer service number and it was the worst part of our experience - E., the person who was also responding our emails was almost saying: "if you have not read the devolution policy, it is your problem." No solution at all. No interest for the customer's experience at all. No education at all. The WORST customer experience of my life.
My recommendation to you all: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND. If you need any help, you will find yourself alone.
By the way, we spent almost 600 euros in this bed. We could have paid 1/3 in an IKEA bed and we would have avoided all this headache.
The customer service has been extremely disappointing. Half of the product wasn’t delivered, and after over a month of back-and-forth, I am still waiting for the remaining screws and parts. I strongly recommend avoiding this store.
Absolutely awful!
I took delivery of half a bed in the UK on the 2nd September. The other half was tracking a day behind in the UK. It was then routed back to France for an unknown reason. I have been in touch with Mon Lit Cabane throughout who said I would just have to wait until it got back to them before anything could be done. After 20 days and on the 27th September they said they could ship a new second half to me without waiting for the original parcel to get back to them. Why it took 20 days to do this I do not know. All problems resolved…. Or so I thought! It is now the 5th October and the new parcel has been stuck with DPD since the 28th September. The issue flagged by DPD is that “package exceeds the maximum authorized dimensions”. My emails to Mon Lit Cabane have have now been ignored since the 2nd October and who knows when the other half of this bed will arrive. Very little concern on the part of the company and they have just blamed DPD. If the carrier is that unreliable then why are you continuing to use them? Or is it that these parcels are too large and are labelled incorrectly in the beginning? I would love a resolution as a “fast delivery” bed this was not!
I had a great experience with Mon Lit - I bought a toddler bed for my 2 year old, and it is the best value for money! High quality materials, easy to assemble, customizable and beautiful! Highly recommend ;)

Terrible company. I have been shocked by the customer service given the price of these toddler beds. Our bed arrived with missing parts (sides) - customer service have been very hard to get in contact with and copy and paste responses. Their email address doesn’t even work unless you go via the website. They have made me raise an issue with DPD, claiming it’s not their issue as it was a separate parcel. This seems very odd to me given that they should be dealing with the issue themselves as the company and not me the consumer. It has been months since I have been waiting for these parts, I have to chase them for an update (they never email me first) and my daughter has had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. Would not recommend this company - it’s the worst experience I have had in a very long time.

Damaged wood, faulty trundle bed
I emailed the customer services with the photos regarding the faulty trundle bed as the piece of wood was assembled in the way that it covered the holes
I was offered 40€
I sent the photos of the damaged wood and was told that “those damages are minor and do not affect its safety“ and 40€ is THE FULL compensation for “the issue”
The cost of the bed was over €770
Very upsetting

Waiting for my bed to arrive 16weeks and still not here.
New update: the postal company lost the box once this was confirmed Mon lit cabane swiftly sent out a new one so we now have a full bed. .........update....they made contact today saying a new package will be sent ASAP so I-ll update this when it arrives......
Has anyone had half the delivery not arrive ?(comes in 2 boxes). What did the company do about it?. This was two weeks ago when they said they ll contact the delivery company to see what has happened to half the bed. They're not responding since so I'm very disappointed as there's no bed in my daughters room now she's using a mattress on floor and is very upset. She also has additional needs so this is very distressing for us as she doesn't understand. 😥
Overall the bed is very cute and our baby loved it, but the assembly instructions were the worst we've ever seen, not to mention that some missing screws (11!) and we had to go buy them. A piece of bed was also chipped. I would definitely suggest to improve the installation instructions and the packaging controls before the shipment.
An excellent selection of toddler beds... ours arrived within the estimated delivery time. The bed is easy enough to assemble, and our son took to it immediately! 100% recommend.
