I contacted Money for Watches to sell my Rolex after completing the form on their website, and we agreed on a price over the phone.

A member of the team arrived on the agreed day and at the agreed time. They had been very clear beforehand about the condition the watch needed to be in, which matched exactly how I had described it.

The agreed price did not change at all. After checking the watch, its paperwork and my ID, the agent transferred the money to my bank account there and then. I confirmed that the funds had arrived in my account before handing over the watch, so everything was transparent, straightforward and secure.

A genuinely professional service from start to finish, exactly as promised. I would happily recommend Money for Watches to anyone looking to sell their watch with confidence.

Update: This is my original review below. I'm sure there will be a reply. So let's deal with this.

My Yacht Master 11 is in good condition, not mint, as I have worn it. Retail for a full set is anything from £12500 to £17,000. When I spoke to them, I wanted £10,500. They offered £9000, I agreed on £9500. The reason, I could get more with Goldsmiths £10350, but it had to be sent away and it could take 3 weeks. These guys seemed genuine and came to the house. So, like the "We buy any car" deal puts money in the bank.

Dan was really nice, he is a French guy. He said he had run it past the head office as he was just an employee. £9000 came back, he was there at my house and I agreed. When he left, I looked at DB Auctions LTD and found that Dan was the director. He played me as an employee, he lied. To get the watch for £9000. He had the final say and could have said £9,500. I sold it for less than what I could have got for it, if I had waited, but to be misled leaves a bitter taste.

Couldn’t be more impressed. After a quick call with one of the reps, we agreed a price and they sent an agent to meet me straight away to my home. Honestly still can’t believe I decided to sell my Daytona on a random Monday evening and the money was in my account there and then. Top-class service — keep it up, lads.

Complete time waster you fill in all the forms then asks you what you want never gives you a price then when you tell him he says it’s not a real price and still doesn’t tell you a price ? how unprofessional too many genuine buyers to bother with this so called company

Had easy going telephone conversation about the watch we wanted to sell and was offered a realistic price, acceptable to us, subject to meeting description as discussed. Dan came on the appointed time and date, was very polite and professional and discussed and showed what he was checking and looking for. All very relaxing, no pressure one way or the other. The time to check the watch (Rolex) took about 20 minutes, maybe less. Payment for the watch was completed in minutes. Great advert for company, would deal with them anytime again and recommend both Dan and James highly for their relax attitude and professionalism,.

Dan was amazing from first contact. No haggling just an honest valuation and then collection the next day including BACS payment of the full valued amount. I tried a well known “ off the TV “ pawn shop style buyer who tried to rob me for £1,000 less the day before!!!!
