I have been trying to transfer money (a pension) out of Moneyfarm for almost two months - no response from them, no way to contact them. They ignore email, chat messages, all of it.
I am concerned now there may be a real problem at this company. I will be contacting the regulator today.

Requested a transfer out of cash Isa on the 1st of April, still waiting! Supposed to take up to 15 working days. Well that time has passed! Ignored requests from new isa provider Contacted Moneyfarm on the 21st of April for update and was told would be processed “as soon as possible” requested a specific date for completion of transfer on the 22nd of April and was told on the same day they were actioning the transfer and to allow 3-4 day for the funds to reach the provider. Guess what still waiting and now stopped earning interest altogether. Forgive me if I am wrong but aren’t bank transfers instant? Never had a problem with transferring Isa’s to or from other providers. Quick enough to transfer the money in but try a get your money out that’s another matter. Will never use again or recommend to anyone.

I had difficulty with website. I couldn't find information to carry out a request. Couldn't get a drop-down list of options. Chatline also difficult to use as it was overlaid on the page and I couldn't erase it.
Had to phone customer services and finally got help quickly and issue was resolved, although made two phone calls before having success with my request. Very time consuming. Customer service agents were however helpful.
Had to phone Money Farm

Inciteful explanations of what factors are affecting our economy during very troubled times. Very good and timely updates when they re-balance your portfolio.

Me and my husband transferred our existing Cash ISAs to eToro Moneyfarm's account. Inspite of us filling 2 separate forms, the entire ISA balance was transferred to my account. I called them several times, but there is no direct access to the cash ISA team. The receptionist just takes the details and passes on the message. The cash ISA team does not call back. They don't even have a formal complaints process. This is pathetic and very bad customer service. As soon as I'm able to sort out this issue, I plan to take my money out as I'm not confident about this company.

I've been with MoneyFarm for over a year, and i was very happy with my stocks and shares ISA investment, and it certainly appears to be developing well.
However i made the error of thinking that moving my cash ISA to them was a good idea.
Unaware that the advertised rate was not applicable to me because i had an account open with them already, so when i moved money in i found i was getting 0.007% less than i expected.
So the long trawl of trying to get my money out...Because MoneyFarm is NOT a bank then you'll not have an associated account number & sort code. So for me to transfer my cash ISA to another provider then (provider 1) i need to visit a branch, fill out forms, and have that actioned, or (provider 2) have forms sent to me, fill them out, post them back.
It's really easy to transfer you cash ISA in, but a royal pain in the bahookie to get your cash ISA out!
Exercise caution if this is a step that you're taking.

would rate zero if i could, impossible to get hold of, £16,000 and £500 just disappeared into thin air and nobody responds, with the FCA now.

It's impossible to get hold of someone, occasionally they'll reply to an email. I tried to increase my payment but they said I had to cancel the DD and create a new one - I'm unable to do that as DD as set up by the supplier! I decided to take my money out and can't get them to answer me. I don't trust them and I would never recommend or use them.

Happy to have your money, but when it comes to transferring to another provider they are useless. Promised in an email to expedite the transfer as a matter or urgency and now told could take another week. This has been a horrendous experience 😕. Since the response from Moneyfarm below another week passed and still no transfer. Olivia the manager who doesn't speak to customers because she is far too important to deal with people keeping her in a job. Stop your BS and deal with the issue. I've missed my 28 day window to transfer to another provider. Do not trust this bunch of LIARS!!!!

Purposely didn’t process my ISA transfer for over two months costing my £100 in missed interest payments. Failed to reply to emails. Wholly dysfunctional company.

My daughter is autistic and we opened a pension with moneyfarm for her that I manage. It has taken months to even get a payment to them. They're unresponsive to emails asking where the payments have gone and to account closure requests. Interestingly, immediately after an account closure request, that was ignored, ....a payment went into the account. Not bothered that we set up hit one of them. If we could close the account we would but they don't respond from any email address!

I requested for my portfolio to be closed and was told that I would have to request to disinvest first, which I did. The email confirmed that this would take 1 to 2 days and the funds would be available no more than 5 working days from the request. This was over 8 days ago and my portfolio has still not been sold. Absolutely terrible service from Moneyfarm

Very well made app, great customer support and investment advisors. The news and blog sections are a nice touch as well when you want to get more information.

Problems setting up a cash ISA via the Etoro website, Moneyfarm were slow to respond to my questions in relation to funding the ISA and this is still not resolved.
