Item never arrived

Item never arrived, updates stopped, contacted Modern Homes by email and was told problem with tracking and they did refund. Still very disappointing outcome as was purchasing this as a gift.

Amazing customer support! Great reputable company.

I cannot rate this company highly enough for their customer service. Regrettably I ordered a mirror that was damaged in transit, Usman was responsive and organised immediately a courier to collect it and organised a replacement. I always think the mark of a great company is how they deal with any problems, and these guys were fantastic. I will definitely be buying from them again. Thanks so much!

Great price & product, just a little slow on the delivery

I knew the product I wanted and found that Modern Home Interiors were selling at the best price, I was a little nervous when the dates had passed for the timeframe that the couriers were to make contact but the guy who dealt with customer services did respond to my emails and followed up with the couriers immediately.
There was a few weeks wait between ordering and delivery.

Quality Service and Delivery

Inherited a table from a late family member and needed a set of chairs to match. I was hesitant at first due to a few reviews, but I had no issue at all - the company couldn't have been more helpful. I sent an email and received a quick response. Everything arrived on time; the box did have a slight dent - (no fault to the supplier), but the items were well packaged and not damaged, I will definitely use again.

When ordered it said delivery in a couple of days. Got emailed a few days later anbout a delay and now will not get my easel until the end of June .

Thank you for your review.

Please note the product you ordered 'EAS01 Antique White Metal Easel' states in the product title in capital letters 'PRE ORDER'. It also states in the product description that it is a pre order and stock is expected on 26th June. Additionally, it also states on your order confirmation page 'PRE ORDER' in capital letters.

Your review states that it says delivery within a couple days. This is inaccurate as it states on multiple pages that it is a pre order item. We are unsure where the confusion has come from on your end, so if you want to discuss it further please contact us.

Your order was placed on 11th May. The email we sent you on the 15th of May was not an email to advise you of a delay (as your review suggests). It was a courtesy email to clarify that this was a pre order, as per the product title and description. We send this to customers in the off-chance that they did not realise it was a pre order to ensure that customers know when it is going to be shipped.

Given the above information is all correct and that you were informed prior to purchase that this was a pre order item, we believe your a 1 star negative review of our business is a little unfair.

Took weeks to arrive when it did box…

Took weeks to arrive when it did box was damaged and small screws were rusty. Not the best experience

To confirm, your order had a delivery time of 7-14 working days.
Order was placed on 26th April and was delivered the 8th May - therefore the order was still within the website delivery time. Your review states that it took weeks to arrive but this is only 10 working days.

In regards to any concerns you may have with the packaging being damaged or any parts being faulty - please can you contact us directly to report any issues and they can be looked into.

Glass mugs

Order glass mugs, they took so long to arrive that I tried to cancel. Contacted the company on the email supplied, the email came back undelivered.
Gave up trying to contact the company and forgot about the mugs.
The mugs eventually turned up, packed in their original box which was packed in a skin tight box with no packaging around the item.
Out of four mugs two were broken and another with a large crack.
Won’t be buying anything from this company again.

We are very sorry to hear that your order arrived damaged. If anything has arrived damaged you just need to send us a photo and we can either send out a replacement set or refund the order value of £13.99. Your order total was £10 for the goods and £3.99 shipping - we would be happy to offer you a refund for both the goods and shipping costs or a full replacement set of 4 mugs.

Regarding your claim of not being able to contact us - you can email us info@modernhomeinteriors.co.uk or sales@modernhomeinteriors.co.uk. Alternatively we also have a website Live Chat where you can get an instant reply. You said that your email was undelivered, so that will be why we've not been able to reply to you as we haven't received your email.

You may have sent your email to an incorrect address as we don't currently have any issues with receiving customer emails. Therefore I would ask you to please check the email address that you sent your correspondence to.

We have sent you an email asking for photos of the damage and if you can please reply to this and let us know whether you would like them replaced or refunded so that this can be resolved.

Regarding the delivery time this is listed on the product page and it is also apparent that the courier tried to attempt delivery to you on 3 occasions so that may be why it took longer than expected. Thank you for your feedback on the item's packaging, this has been passed on to the warehouse to ensure that they are packed with extra care moving forward - we appreciate your feedback in this instance as it helps us to improve our service.

A 1 star review is a little harsh considering we never got a chance to speak to you or help you out with this yet. This is our first time hearing about this and we would be happy to help so please get in touch.
