Eames chair

Although the guarantee had long expired after 5 years, Oakface Ltd sent a spare part for my Eames chair, which I had bought at MoDecor, out of goodwill and completely free of charge. Not even postage was charged. The spare part was this black socket that connects the armchair with the foot. And it fits, in contrast to the original, which has slightly different dimensions.
This goodwill behavior is particularly mentioned, and I also had to deal with very friendly and helpful people when I was emailing, thank you Joshua Watt. No longer a matter of course, as everyone knows. Therefore with 5 stars extra large

Fast Delivery

Fast Delivery, high quality products. Bought the Lounge Chair and compares really well to the original for a fraction of the price. Very convenient payments via invoice.

Seat arrived in good time, packed very well. It looks lovely and feels good quality, it will look beautiful in my new bathroom. Excellent value.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

AVOID, order never arrived, emailed to cancel, received a reply to say it's cancelled but NEVER got the money back. NO ONE ever answers the phone, as it goes straight to voice mail. The bubble chair I ordered cost £722 and it's now money gone in drain. Another bogus company!!!

I ordered two Eames Lounge Chair …

I ordered two Eames Lounge Chair replica's. They were delivered within a week. Mounting them was remarkably easy. The construction and the quality was very solid.
Totally happy, so far! Thanks Modecor!!

Unacceptable experience, Eames armchair not in stock

I have recently purchased an Eames Lounge chair, however I am still waiting for it to be delivered.

It is quite unclear whether Modecor have the item in stock or not. I checked daily their website and it seems that the availability date is constantly changing. A day ago this armchair was available and ready to be shipped, today it says it will be available from some future date. The same confusion subsisted when I paid for my purchase more than 3 weeks ago.

I have been scammed a couple of months ago by Wallace Sacks who went bust (see also reviews on Trustpilot, they were rated 8.7/10 when I paid more than £1000 for a couple of armchairs - they have zero ratings now), and is currently under administration due to mainly the lack of stock. I just hope Modecor will not become the villain too.

Not really happy with the delay in the delivery of my armchair from Modecor. The costumer service only told me that they'd deliver last Monday, it's now Saturday, and they still haven't replied to may email returning a tracking number, let alone delivering my purchase.

Very dissatisfied costumer. Think twice before buying anything from Modecor. Check that they have stock, and DO NOT buy anything in advance.

I would be happy to add more *stars* to my review should I receive my chair or be contacted by the costumer service with a plausible explanation for the delay.

UPDATE. I have got a reply from the company confirming they have no stock and that they expect a delivery in about 3 weeks.

I am happy to wait a little more, however, how much longer??
Also, they have reported my review to Trustpilot, trying to remove it as they say have no reference of my purchase?!

Service and Quality

I ordered Barcelona Ottoman and Arco Lamp. I was nervous about the quality of these items ordering online and with only website photos to judge by....

Ordering and delivery was efficient and timely. The quality of the items is top class and I would recommend MoDecor to friends and family for the future.

bad joke - waste of time and money

review:
cheap furniture from china, to be assembled by your own.
missing parts at lamp and rest from chaiseloungue missing.
groan at the LC2 Sofa, cheap leather.
no service available either phone or mail.

katastrophe!

chronicle:
permanent postpone of delivery
finally arrived six weeks late
after assembling all furnitures - realizing that's all cheap low quality
disassembled and waiting five weeks until it was taken back
had to pay for additional storing space during wait (we had 12 pieces of furniture)
they are invoicing me despite everything was sent back
nightmare enterprise
