MODDIY Reviews

Customer support worked with me to figure out what product would work in my admittedly very unique and strange situation. Knowledgeable and helpful. 5 stars.

Friendly and Patient staff also very helpful with

I had a compatibility question and they were able to respond lightning fast validating my purchase decision. Very responsive to all email inquiries and replies. I still haven't heard a peep from the OEM manufacturer. Will be revisiting for future needs.

They are extremely helpful and diligent in their work! They helped me a non tech person get the solution I required.

Thanks Carrie, you are the best.

Customer service top notch. Other companies could learn for sure. Communication good, responsive, and low friction.

I stumbled upon MODDIY when I needed a set of white cables for an all white build I just completed. I had a great 1000w PSU, but it was all black. I ordered a complete set of cables at a reasonable price, when considering they were built to my PSUs spec, and noticed they also offered the new 12Vx6 plug I needed for my new 5070ti. I received everything pretty quick and they work and look great!

Where MODDIY excelled even more is with their customer service. I switched out my GPU, and unfortunately the retaining clip on the plug snapped off, and I was bummed. It still works, but the back plate won't stay on. I sent in an email and got a response same day telling me they'd ship an entire new cable free of charge! This was amazing, as working with companies like Asus in the past, they refused to repair anything, or take a multi week exchange of emails and calls to actually take some action.

Thank you MODDIY, you're my new favorite company when I need something for custom builds :)

Five-star service, every time ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Customer service doesn’t get better than this. Sure, their catalog is massive and search can be a bit “meh,” but tap the chat bubble bottom-right and a real human will help you find it, customize it, or build it from scratch. Friendly, fast, and clearly not a bot 🤝

I’ve ordered customized cables from ModDIY multiple times and they’ll continue to be my go-to. Lead times are quick, quality is solid. I did have one fan extension where the connector came off on first unplug, but I’m confident they’d have replaced it in a heartbeat if I’d asked. Humans make things—and they make it right. Highly recommended 🔌✨

Another happy customer. Very unique product, slimmest 90 degree SFF case PSU extension cable anywhere! Great support from Carrie at MOD DIY who helped me to make changes to my order before shipping! MOD DIY will be my go to first choice for custom SFF PC cables!

Carrie from MODDIY was very knowledgeable and helpful. I am impressed with the product, seemingly no one else is providing such high quality custom power cables. Specifically the 12V2x6 H++ connector with premium high-current Single-Split 4-Spring (Leaf-Spring) terminals. Thank you Carrie and MODDIY for answering all of my questions and providing a premium product!

I made a mistake on the order but rather than sending me the wrong thing the company checked with me and I was able to correct the order.

That is great service and I'm happy to praise their staff and give credit.

Was able to get exactly what I needed and the customer service was awesome!

Instant help and customize order! Absolutely awesome!

I ordered 1 PTM 7950 50x31 for my MSI laptop. The first cycles weren't exectional, although a reduction of the temperature. After 4-5 cycles, my laptop still like an iceberg: frozen as ice.
I struggled for 2 years to fix this up, nothing worked.
This material saved me and my little baby.
Shipping very fast, thanks for all moddiy!

super responsive to questions; clear, professional exchange; helped track down correct proprietary cable

After trying to find the products we need, we write to Moddiy support and we take the best answers and solution by person on moddiy, thanks to Carrie because we write 3 or 4 time and the answers are positive without hesitate !

Been ordering cables for my PSU. It's cheaper than getting the actual original cables.
One time, they actually sent me the wrong cable, SATA instead of Molex. I complained and they immediately sent me the correct one, no extra charge.
