Extremely low pay for highly time and mind consuming tasks, it feels like they paying to slaves. And this too I am writing from 3rd world nation India where pays are low but compared to Mindrift, people in India pay more for per hour in low skill jobs than for skilled job in minddrift.

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience – earned payment withheld
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Mindrift. My account was suspended on 29 August 2026 following an internal investigation, but I was not given clear evidence or specific details explaining what I allegedly did wrong.
The most concerning issue is that my earned payment has been put on hold, despite the fact that I completed the work. I have requested a clear explanation, the contractual basis for withholding my funds, and the release of my earned and undisputed payment.
I have given the company an opportunity to resolve this matter. If my earned payment is not released, I intend to pursue the matter through the appropriate legal/court process and seek all remedies available under the applicable UK, Swiss and/or Netherlands law, where applicable.
I hope Mindrift will review the decision fairly and release the payment that I legitimately earned.

Regarding the project you saw: projects on our platform are often available for a limited time or have a limited number of spots. It's possible that by the time you clicked the link, the project had already reached full capacity or the availability window had closed. This is a normal part of how project allocation works and not an indication of any wrongdoing.

Terrible platform
Terrible platform: there are often technical bugs during the onboardings (which are horribly designed, and almost never paid), projects are very sparse even for STEM experts and they usually get paused immediately after joining. They also offer an extremely low pay when compared to other similar platforms, which makes no sense given the complexity and the experience required for some projects. Do not waste your time here!

Poorest of the poor platform for freelancers
The pay per task is very low. There are no projects at all, being a data scientist, I dont see any project in software, AI, ML, python, nothing at all. The payments withdrawal will always face issue. Can't add/remove payment methods.
Support can't help me get projects. All project says waiting for task but the tasks never arrived. I am just waiting for my withdrawal past 2 days. Once I get it, I will remove my account from this useless platform.

I understand they took over Toloka. Immediately starting seeing that they are discriminating on me since I started signing in again 2 days ago because I'm in Nigeria.

Mindrift has been a highly frustrating platform to work with. I have cleared every single onboarding assessment and cleared all the qualifications required to begin work. However, every time I log in, I see an empty dashboard and no tasks are available. It is unreasonable to expect contributors to spend significant time completing extensive assessments and qualifications only to offer zero available work on the platform.

Approved for 1,579 minutes of video work on the Minute Data App, but Mindrift refuses to send my funds to Tipalti. Support chat has given me the run around for over a month.. Saying "they'll check with team, payment system down we're working on it", even though they say its back working and still no payment. Asking the same questions over and over to verify when I clearly has verified everything! Stalling.... Avoid working here until they pay their creators.

No they are absolutely fake and fraudulent taking people info Nd data with their permission with the word of very minimum amount and intentionally put some bugs and errors in there system so user can't proceed after it can't submit even the data, images is already saved in there system when user try hard for continuous one hour only for 2 dollars they just timed out and rejected the task but the images in there preferred way is already saved in there server which they can use and they are systematically, logically, legally making the people fool.. totally fake.
