DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!! Purchase never arrived and nor did the promised refund. They have stopped responding to my emails. I absolutely rate them a negative 20 stars. Please don’t purchase anything-you will be throwing your money away. I’m very disappointed.

They advertise they offer a money back guarantee. They do not. They show they have 2850+ 5 star reviews on Trustpilot. They do not. They say they are a New Zealand based company. They are not.

EDIT UPDATE: I got my order! But I had to tell them I had informed my bank they were a scam company with no NZBN and repeatedly ask for my money back and that my bank was investigating them. After some emails saying they really wanted to keep my order, and then offering me 10% off, when I continued to say no and ask for my order to be cancelled and my money refunded, they sent the order the next day. (Despite saying they couldn't send it for 1 and a half weeks because of flooding or some such BS.)

So keep hounding them. Ask to cancel your order and get your bank involved; you might get lucky. Good luck!

No order was received. This is what they sent me 1 month after I ordered from them to make me think that there was still something going to be delivered:

The key thing in future is to check if there is a contact phone number and address, not just an email contact. It's right there on their website how obvious it is that it's a scam website. They didn't even bother to take out the places where they were supposed to insert key information. More fool me for not checking in more detail. I'll be more vigilant next time.

Not really a 1* rating, and would rate them negative 10. This ‘company’, is a scam and their site reviews (indicated as trust pilot) are obviously self generated. The reality is that they do not care about customers, not shipping goods, adding other items as ‘further orders’, charging my card for items not ordered, and then saying it wasn’t ordered with email reference, so they used my phone number as a reference. When challenged, they said it was already shipped and as it was after 24 hours since “ordered, it could not be cancelled or refunded. DON’T TOUCH THESE GUYS; THEY ARE CROOKED!!!!

Total scam: This company is fraudulent; I purchased two dresses on 18 Nov 24 for $125.91. But because their courier company apparently couldn't deliver to my address, I was advised by email, several times, that I would be refunded that amount. As yet, no money has been paid into my account, and my latest email has not been replied to. After looking at these reviews, I realise why. I have been ripped off. I wish I had googled them first!!

Never received my order. Emails just kept bouncing back as undelivered. This company is fraudulent. This company should be banned from advertising. Ordered early Dec 25. Now Feb 2nd. Still no product. But they took my money

Don't bother ordering from this company. A month later and I am still waiting. Asked for a refund. No answer. They pose as a NZ company but I found out they are in Australia. I saw the same dress being advertised as a Tauranga based company on FB so suspect they have multiple companies operating. I think the positive reviews are not legit.

Total rip off! Do not waste your time or money on this company.
I ordered a dress online which was stated as being of high quality but when the package turned up 3 weeks later, I was really disappointed in the quality of the dress, it looks to be of similar quality to Temu or Shein. No label on the neckline or Care instructions label. There is poor stitching along the seams. The colour is completely different from the ad, brown instead of "army green". The fabric is scratchy and stiff. It definitely wasn't worth anywhere near what I paid for it.
Also, I thought I was supporting a local NZ company but it turns out it came from Australia, so I've been duped there as well.
After poor communication from the company regarding the extended delivery times, I'm not going to waste my time trying to get a refund.
Be warned!

BEWARE! This company is a scam and goods if you get them are rubbish. The no questions asked guarantee does not apply to sale products and I am so angry that it has cost me time and money for nothing!

I ordered 4 dresses total over $207. Parcel took 3 weeks to arrive and their courier service is highly suspect. Dresses are absolutely awful and nothing like the pictures. They refuse a refund on the basis l didn't check the measurements properly. Even if l did, the product is still low grade, of bad quality material and shapeless. Seriously ladies, a warning - do not buy from
Milla. They're rip off merchants. Dresses are going into the rag bin or charity. This is my experience as a first time online clothing buyer. Even when l told them of my situation it makes no difference. Stupid me for wasting my money!

I bought a pair of shoes and was extremely dissatisfied, they were clearly a cheap replica of the ones on the site, with obvious differences I pointed out to them like cheap brassy buckle instead of silvery vintage one, differences in the stitching, shape of heel etc. They refused to take them back even with all photographic images I sent comparing them, citing bullshit like ‘ it’s the lighting effect’ which it clearly was not.
I would never buy from this site again and would warn anyone off it.

I ordered the Joanna " pleated dress". After much time a long tshirt dress arrived. Nothing like the picture and not a pleat anywhere. Milla is refusing to refund me even though they are in breach of the consumer guarantees act. They misrepresented this item.
I do not recommend using this company.

Very disappointed ordered as had 30 day money back guarantee if not satisfied, says NZ company but goods came from China and take weeks! Product not high quality as stated, not even a label on neckline. Refused to refund or exchange size! Stated that it was my fault I didn’t check measurements properly! What website does that! Would not recommend using this website!

Our experience with this company mirrors many other reviews on this site. Wish we had found this site before being sucked in by what appears to be a scam site. They say they have a 5 Star rating from this site when its 1 and would be zero if that option was available for me.
We purchased 2 pairs of shoes in my wife's size in October 2024. They were delivered in due course, but one pair was too big and the other too small and they looked really cheap (guessing worth about $20), not the $160 advertised and definitely not "Orthopaedic" as also advertised.
Expected them to be sent from Wellington, NZ, but they were shipped from China in plastic bags, no labels on shoes.
Does not look like a NZ company as site says. Shipping correspondence was good, but when trying to return the faulty items we got the "we don't do refunds on sale items" (which I would guess applies to all their merchandise) despite the 'no questions asked return policy' highlighted on their web site. All emails were answered politely, but always replied to late at night NZ time, so I suspect an Asian site, also language used was strange. One of our joint credit cards (never used before online) was redeemed in Australia for the original purchase, so our bank cancelled it and are contesting the charge, but not before a small charge appeared yesterday from a company we don't deal with. Where did they get the card details from? Again we are contesting that charge as well. I would not trust this company and would not now return the goods or give them any card details. nor do I trust their reviews.
A relatively cheap lesson but feel I need to warn others to be aware of MillaWellington.

So disappointed with this dress, poor quality fabric, poorly made, doesn't resemble the dress on the website at all. Looks like something Granny would wear in the 30's ( but only if she had nothing else to wear) Total rip off. Be warned and do not buy

They are a scam. I brought a pair of shoes $100 on sale orthopedics. They arrived from Asia in a plastic bag and are very cheap. They would not refund as I brought them on sale. Do not buy from these people

I really wish I had done my homework about this company and read reviews. Valuable lesson learned!
I now have a $75 dress (on sale from $150) of course so no refund, I did try.
Dress is not like picture, very poor cheap fabric. Wouldn't even pay $25.
Too easy to hide behind "no refund for sale items" when you are selling poor quality merchandise.

Yes, this is a scam and I was sucked in. Can the site be removed to prevent this happening to other people? They wouldn't take my returns and the clothing quality was extremely poor: buttons on the wrong side, collars that didn't sit right, messy stitching, no styling.

This site is a ripoff. Sizing is completely wrong and quality is poor. Cannot return sale items. I would not recommend at all
