A good store, until something goes wrong
MILITARY.EU has a very good selection of products and often offers attractive prices. If you simply place an order, receive it, and everything is fine, you will probably be satisfied.
But as soon as you need to deal with a problem, it is a completely different story.
Customer support takes several days to respond, and sometimes does not respond at all. My experience with returning products has been nothing short of a nightmare.
I am currently dealing with two returns, and in both cases their system still shows the status “Waiting for goods”.
1. Return No. 1566756 – Order CZ26072349219
withdrawal from the contract: 2 August 2026 at 11:21
goods shipped using their return system via Zásilkovna: 3 August
shipment arrived at the depot: 4 August
returned goods were received by the seller on 8 August 2026
yet their website still shows: “Waiting for goods”
2. Return No. 1568480 – Order CZ26080281289
withdrawal from the contract: 5 August 2026 at 11:43
shipment accepted by Zásilkovna for transport: 6 August at 10:05
arrived at the Bielsko-Biała depot: 7 August at 11:32
according to the tracking information, it is being prepared for delivery to the seller
their website still shows: “Waiting for goods”
In both cases, I used the return system and shipping service provided by the seller themselves. In the first case, the seller has physically had the returned goods since 8 August, yet their own system still claims that they are waiting for the goods.
At the same time, their customer support takes several days to respond, if they respond at all, leaving the customer with virtually no way of finding out what is happening with the return.
For me, the final assessment will depend on how they resolve this situation. If my money is not refunded within the statutory deadline, I will take further steps to protect my consumer rights. In particular, I will contact the European Consumer Centre Czech Republic for assistance with this cross-border consumer dispute and will also ask my bank to initiate a chargeback due to the failure to refund the payment following a valid withdrawal from the contracts.
Would I shop here? Yes, if you know exactly what you want and are confident that you will never need to deal with an issue.
However, if you expect responsive customer support and a straightforward return process when something goes wrong, I cannot currently recommend this store.

Great shoes and a perfect fit. The Columbia men’s shoes are exactly what I expected. Delivery took a few days instead of arriving the next day, but overall I’m very happy with the purchase. Great price compared to Hungarian prices. I’ll be using them for hiking in the autumn.
