Absolutely superb. Ordered chicken tinga build your own fiesta for 4. Plenty for all of us, the dips are wonderful, the chicken top quality, and authentic tacos. All the family loved it. Will definitely be buying again.

We ordered the Birra Tacos and churros.
Lovely tortillas, the beef was slightly salty. Good quantity of food.
I would probably suggest that the churros have the sugar in a separate bag, either that or the pot of chocolate sauce is in separate packaging , I opened the bag and there was sugar everywhere, I have to wash the pot of chocolate off before I could use it.

Food arrived use by date of the following day so beware. A fair bit of Birra Beef was still connected by sinew so half was discarded. Some ingredients missing and poorly packed, and no reply from email.

Food we had from Mexi Kit was delicious and ended up with leftovers to enjoy the next day. Had an issue with my first delivery date and they sorted out changing the day quickly with no problems. Great service

Really tasty food, well packaged and the team went above and beyond after a courier issue to get the box to me on the right day. Everything tasted great!

Wonderful food, much better than the usual Mexican meal kits to be found in supermarkets. Decent sized portions too.
The preparation instructions were clear and, once I got my non-chef brain around doing more than one thing at once, were very easy to follow.

This is the third time ordering and have seen improvements every time. It's clear Daniel reads the reviews and is looking to continually improve.
Since the first order;
The packaging has improved,
The cooking instructions have been made clearer (though might be worth writing the wattage of microwave the timings are based on)
The "what's included" page makes it clear what should be in the box (I thought the cheese was missing, but I'd ordered the taco kit, not the quesadillas which is what includes the cheese)
And best of all the flavours have remained consistent or even improved.
I can't say they're on par with traditional Mexican food as I haven't visited, but they taste 10 times better than any takeaway or supermarket kits in the UK.
With regards to cost, you pay for quality and you'd be paying a similar amount when ordering a takeaway, and the preparation is very quick.
To anyone reading these reviews before ordering, give it a shot!

The food is great quality and authentic!

Very easy to prepare and included everything you need.

We thought on the whole the food was nice and there was plenty of it but we did not feel that it was really worth the cost.

It was delicious !! Quite hectic to do as it all happens fast, but added to the excitement actually. Thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely recommend!

Ordering from the website was nice and straightforward, I chose my date for delivery and was kept informed every step of the way, when the food arrived the instructions where simple to understand and straightforward, the food itself was absolutely delicious and the sauces where sublime, I will be ordering again

Quality of food the real let down here, had hairs from the pork belly in our meal which is quite obviously off putting & along with the Chicken Tinga was so dry.
The cooking guidelines need seriously addressing because if you have a powerful microwave then you are going to decimate the food if you base the cook times on those provided.
There was literally no flavour to these dishes at all, they were so bland & I do not believe that "authentic" Mexican flavourings are truly represented here.
The only saving here from getting a one star review was with the Birra Beef which again by itself was dry but mixed in with the sauce made it fairly enjoyable compared to the other dishes but again it lacked any Mexican flavours or heat.
The only thing that had any heat to it at all was the Pineapple Habanero that was so hot it was uneatable & lacked any pineapple flavours whatsoever.
Generally portion size is small for the value.
Delivery thankfully was by DPD which when it comes to food delivery was as usual on point.
I would not order again nor recommend this to others as there are some issues that require addressing.
Wish I could have more positives to say as we love Mexican food but this was in our view a huge miss.

Delicious food, especially the carnitas. Sauces were excellent too. I'd suggest slightly less birria sauce to be included as we only had 4 tortillas to dip into it and poured the rest away. Tasted great though.

Ordered the birria taco kit and churros and both were outstanding. Cooking instructions were clear, will definitely be ordering again.
