Serious breach of KYC/AML obligations, allowing fraudulent activity on their platform
I have never registered an account with Mercuryo or any of its affiliated entities. Yet I have been receiving transaction receipts and account notifications to my personal email address, indicating that someone has used my email to set up an account and conduct transactions on the platform — entirely without my knowledge or consent.
I consider this a serious matter involving potential identity fraud and a breach of data protection obligations. I raised this directly with Mercuryo's customer support and received no meaningful response or remedial action.
Despite having alerted Mercuryo several days ago, the transactions continue on a daily basis. Mercuryo has the ability to close this account and block the user from operating, yet fails to do so.
I am now filing complaints with all regulatory authorities responsible for Mercuryo's operating licences. In my view, Mercuryo is in breach of its KYC/AML obligations. Security failures of this nature have the potential to jeopardise the company's entire operating licence.

Well at first I was a bit doubt of it. But I read on with James and excellent guide he calmed me with easy to follow instructions and made the task very easy for a non- tech fella I am. No problems with my bank, no bells and whistles. Now I wait for the magic. Thanks again James and the team at Mercuryo. I'll give the extra star on completion of investment.

Avoid at all costs! They sent my funds to another address without me ever selecting it. It is impossible to get a refund or change the destination address. Absolute scam, be very careful. It's a complete disgrace.

I want my money
Two weeks ago, I initiated a cryptocurrency withdrawal through Mercuryo from my Trust Wallet. As of today, I have received neither my money nor my coins.
What is even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication. Their support team does not explain what the problem is, why my funds are being held, or when I can expect a resolution. Every time I contact them, I receive the same generic copy-and-paste responses instead of real assistance.
Last week, I submitted a complaint through their official website. The website clearly states that complaints are answered within one business day. It has now been over a week, and I have not received a single response.
Holding a customer’s money or cryptocurrency for weeks without providing any clear explanation is completely unacceptable. Based on my experience, I have lost all confidence in this company and its customer service.
If my funds are not returned by the end of today, I will have no choice but to pursue formal complaints through the appropriate legal and regulatory channels. At this point, I feel abandoned as a customer and deeply concerned about how this company handles people’s money.
I would strongly recommend that others think carefully before trusting Mercuryo with their funds.
