Avoid Medina Tours! Untrustworthy and Unresponsive

I booked a holiday to Dubai and Qatar (August 2025) through Medina Tours, and it turned into a complete nightmare. When I arrived at my hotel in Dubai, I was told Medina Tours hadn’t paid them, even though I had already paid in full. I was left stranded with no accommodation and no money, trying to resolve everything from abroad.

I tried calling and messaging the representative countless times, giving him every chance to put things right, but he never responded. The same issue happened again in Qatar, leaving me and my family including my elderly mother and young children, completely stranded.

To make matters worse, I am still waiting for my refund, and he continues to ignore all contact. This has caused not only immense emotional stress but also a major financial burden. I have now initiated a court case to recover my money, as I have been left with no other choice.

If Medina Tours does issue the refund, I will update this review accordingly. But for now, based on my experience, I strongly advise others: do not trust Medina Tours with your money or your travel plans.

These people are scammers and they call themselves Muslims. Mohammed Ahmed (I don't even know if thats his real name) is the one that attended to me, initially very polite and communicative. However soon after he got my money, he went incommunicado. Went away with my £4945, since February for a trip that was supposed to be in August. No tickets, no refunds. Just took my money. Their office address is not theirs, they aren't located there, they are nowhere to be found. Beware, don't believe anything from these people.

Response to your False Statement. When I made the latest the payment your Barclays account was already restricted "Due to maintenance". You informed me then to send the money over to your Starling account.

You have not reserved no plane tickets or hotels so I dont know why any suppliers would be involved to regarding my funds.

You know what the situation is personally and lying publicy to deceive the people reading your response.

You are using a virtual address where you are no longer present. You have made sure you are difficult to get tracked and held responsible but rest assured you will be.

I've given you enough time to send my full amount back to me but yet refused to reapond to my Whatsapp messages and emails.

Return the full amount immediately and I'll close the Claims Court Case.

I paid this company a substantial amount for 5 star hotels in Makkah and madinah 7 months before my trip. I received vouchers from them and I called the hotels directly to confirm the bookings. The bookings at the time were valid however when I actually got to makkah 7 months later the hotel said there was no history of any booking. I then had to spend thousands on the spot for a new booking. I contacted them and they said they will contact saudia supplier. This company doesn't seem to understand that I paid them so they should pay me back from their own accounts but no they keep mentioning Saudi supplier. I confirmed with a very senior reservation hotel worker and they confirmed the only time a booking is cancelled is if they haven't received the payment from the agent. I am under the impression this company reserved the hotels sent me the vouchers and never paid anything to the hotel. Reservation are always cancelled but paid bookings are never cancelled.

Now I went to madinah on 10 August Moven pick and whilst checking in the front desk the booking has been cancelled on the 9th August. Again same fraud and scam I contacted them and they said I should book further from my own money and send them a receipt for them to refund me and I was thinking this company Is so degraded that it can't even compensate on the spot for me and my family and they keep saying we will contact Saudi supplier.

I trusted this company based on its reviews but please ignore those positive reviews. I also trusted this company based on the Quran being recited in the background whilst they were selling me these hotel.

This company owes me a substantial amount of money and I urge the community and pilgrims around the world not use medina tours based in covent garden virtual address. These people are the lowest of lowest and have no professionalism.

We travelling with elderly parents and children and they have put us through a really big financial loss and a difficult journey. as you all already know Makkah and madinah are already a place of difficulty due to demand but on top of this all this company medina tours made this even worse.

This company and the people working in this including waqas and malaliakh and sultan who is a who are on the companies house as owning this company don't have the decency to even speak or answer there calls. All
communication is messages. Inshallah I hope all the workers and the directors and employees of this company suffer tragic loss in there life. Ameen

Hello, everyone. I just want to talk about this Medina Tours & Medina Holidays and their employees. They do not have physical office at '71-75, Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ' because they only rent a name at that address and do not actually work there. I personally phoned 71-75 Covent Garden; they said they rent out a number of companies, and those companies work from another address, so don't trust them.

Now their Manager Mr. Ahmed, and another puppet constantly come up with stupid justifications, while Ahmed takes money and distributes fraudulent tickets. Mr. Ahmed is a big fraudster, he previously stated that if you pay the entire amount, you will receive your ticket, however, after taking my money, he altered his statement, now you must wait for at least four weeks as per our customer's requirements, and I have never had this type of experience with any flight purchase.
When I asked to cancel it after many calls and messages, he stated, "We will refund your full amount, but you will receive it in another four weeks," and now it's been more than four weeks with no further call/msg responses.
Do not trust them, they operate a fraudulent enterprise.

We booked our first umrah through this agency. Initially it all seemed good as we got a good price but a few significant issues really put a downer on the experience:

1. Not adhering to their own payment plan and continually requesting money ahead of schedule and making me pay for the transaction fees (just because I asked to pay via a payment link). Note their response was ‘it’s not expensive’ - in my opinion if it’s not expensive then the company should cover it.

2. Taking forever to get our documentation and travel documents together, I kept being given different dates of when everything would be ready, in the end I received everything with less than one week from flying.

3. I had bad experiences when trying to call up the head office, one person hung up on me and I kept being told to only speak to my own rep, unfortunately this is a case of bad customer service continually with every so often your rep calling you in order to try and make everything seem ok and it’s just them working in the background trying their hardest. Note that we fully paid everything with more than 1 month notice until we flew.

There’s lots of room for improvement, on the plus side we got there with no difficulty but it wasn’t down to the agency. I had to do a lot of chasing and finding the flight details myself in order to make sure we had everything in order before we flew. The stress caused really wasn’t worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of booking a customized Umrah package through Medina Tours, and I must say that the experience was exceptional, all thanks to the extensive help provided by Muhammad Ahmed. What made this experience even more impressive was that the entire process was handled over WhatsApp—we never met in person, yet everything was flawlessly arranged.

From the very beginning, Muhammad Ahmed was incredibly attentive and thorough. We worked together to create a package that met all my needs, and he made sure that every detail was taken care of. The payment process was straightforward and transparent, with stage payments required for bookings. Ahmed provided confirmation at each step, giving me peace of mind.

One of the highlights of the service was the accommodation. Despite other agents telling me that the hotels I wanted were unavailable, Muhammad Ahmed managed to secure excellent rooms in the exact locations I desired, both for myself and my children. The hotels were of high quality and enhanced our Umrah experience significantly.

The transportation provided was also top-notch. The transfers were timely, and the vehicles were spacious, air-conditioned, and very comfortable. This was especially important given the heat, and it made our journey between locations smooth and stress-free.

Throughout the entire trip, Muhammad Ahmed kept in regular contact to ensure everything was going smoothly. He even checked in after our return home to make sure we had arrived safely. His dedication and professionalism truly made this an easy and pleasant experience.

I very highly recommend Medina Tours, and especially Muhammad Ahmed, for anyone planning an Umrah. His exceptional service and attention to detail made all the difference, and I’m grateful for the wonderful experience he helped create.

Our tour with Medina Tours was a wonderful adventure. The booking process was easy, and the staff was very helpful in answering all our questions. The tour itself was fantastic-we learned so much and had a great time. The guide was engaging and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend Medina Tours to anyone!

Me and my sister went for hajj 2024 with this company and we book vip A category package all inclusive and alhamdulliha everything was as it was mentioned in the package from booking point till end until we arrived back in uk 🇬🇧 Brother ahmad was so helpful from start till end everything went smoothly and he was constantly in contact with us when we were in saudi arabia Everything was organised the way we wanted.

Me and my wife went for Hajj this year through Medina Tours. We had a great service from Mr Ahmed through out the Hajj. He completed all our paper work on time and by the grace of Almighty Allah, we completed our Hajj and returned back to UK. Kindly contact Mr Ahmed if you need more information about Hajj.

We booked our Ramadan umrah trip for 11 passengers with Brother Syed from Medina Tours London. And Alhamdulillah we all enjoyed our Umrah trip very much.
Everything went smooth, and not having to worry about transfers and organising ziyarah with little children was very nice as it was less things to worry over.
He tailored our package to everything we wanted and we had a fabulous stay at both Makkah and Madinah with good walking distance, food places and shops nearby. Brother Syed was prompt, replied to messages really fast and would always reassure us. Flights, hotel bookings, visas, transfers and ziyarah were organised really well and on time. Would highly recommend booking with them.

Alhamdulliah great experience with Medina Tours. Booked 2 weeks before the travel date and everything was perfect. Hotels booked as described, no issues with visas,flights, or transfers to makkah and medina. Everything as described. Medina tours were also contactable throughout the umrah and checked in regularly to make sure we were okay.

First time booking umrah and will make madina tours my regular agent. May Allah reward them for their services
