Fantastic choice of meat
Fantastic choice of meat
The bbq chicken skewers are so tasty and succulent and only take 6 mins each side in the airfryer.
The chicken breasts are huge, fresh and best of all no water comes out of them when you cook them.
Butty bacon packs are really worth the money.
Beef burgers are full of meat, taste awesome and very filling.
Have ordered from The Meatsupermarket 3 times now and not been disappointed.
Might need to buy another freezer 😂

The quality of the meat is terrible
The quality of the meat is terrible. The packaging arrived damaged. I ordered £107 worth and it came with 2 small ice packs that had completely melted in this heat. The meatballs had no colour at all. The burgers and mince were brown/grey. I’m not even going to eat it. It’s all vacuum sealed I cannot stand mince when it is packed like this. All squashed together like a giant burger. That wasn’t the worst part of my experience, I complained and requested a refund. They accepted no accountability and told me to try the food the food and then get back to them. I don’t think so! Never again!

The majority of our meat products are vacuum sealed to help maintain freshness, protect the products during transit, and extend their shelf life without the need for preservatives. As a result, products such as mince will naturally be compressed within the packaging and return to a more normal texture once opened.
Vacuum packing can also cause fresh meat to appear darker or brown/grey due to the absence of oxygen. This is a normal characteristic of vacuum-packed meat, and it will typically return to its natural red colour after being opened and exposed to the air for a short time.

Chicken is not size advertised it was awful far too big
Chicken was awful sizes I normally get 22-22-24 breasts and I got 16 they were far too big, cannot be roasted or pan fried at this size as rate too tough. I even checked and they said 22-24 breasts.
Not only this but the chicken bags had not been double wrapped and spilt all over the rest of the order. It had leaked through the box too.

Our chicken breasts are sold by weight rather than by a guaranteed number of pieces. While a 5kg pack will typically average around 22–24 breasts, the exact number can vary naturally depending on the size of the birds supplied. On some occasions, this means there will be fewer, larger breasts within the pack.
We're also sorry to hear that the chicken packaging had split during transit. This is certainly not how we expect our orders to arrive, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

The meat grade is poor, tough and the meat is hacked rather than cut. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Ok price but hit and miss quality
Ok price but hit and miss quality. We ordered a selection of bbq skewers, burgers, sausages, chicken and steaks. The prime steak burgers were excellent and the sirloin steaks were good for the multi-buy price. The sausages were ok but not outstanding but the chicken was the real let down. The skewers were not made correctly so kept falling off and the marinade didn't come through after they were bbq'd. On the whole there was nothing bad about the service or quality there just wasn't enough that was good for me to recommend using them.

I use a couple of suppliers for my meat…
I use a couple of suppliers for my meat and if I am totally honest, it was okay but had better on quality. Would use again and it maybe what I ordered? So all in all okay.

Delivery and packing need attention?
The quality of the meat was OK.
However the packing and delivery need attention?
Wse received our order late in the day, and because there was only one ice pack whichch was melted and with the heat and the late delivery we needed to cook the meat before we could freeze it hopefully it will be OK.

Our chilled packaging is tested to keep products within a safe temperature for 48 hours in transit. While the ice packs may melt, this is normal, as they melt above 0°C while the insulated liner keeps the contents chilled at around 5°C.

First of all the products quality
First of all the products quality, whats on the photos as shown isnt what shows up, the meat was very fatty, the delivery was terrible. The meat was left outside my front door in this heat without the delivery man or woman ringing the doorbell. Won't be ordering again, I would advise people to buy organic grass fed beef from a reL farm not these sites.

We're sorry your parcel was left outside without the driver knocking or ringing the doorbell. Unfortunately, once an order leaves us, the delivery is in the hands of the courier, but we do take reports like this seriously and raise them with DPD.
Our meat is prepared by professional butchers, and as it's a natural product, the amount of fat can vary from cut to cut. If you felt the product wasn't as described, we'd have been happy to investigate had you contacted our customer service team with your order number and photos.

Regarding the chicken, this depends on the product you order. If it is listed as fresh/chilled chicken, it will arrive chilled and not frozen. If it is a frozen product, it will be sent frozen as stated in the product description and can arrive defrosted as per the product details,
