Great gym equipment but the environment actively encourages steroid use, the videos constantly played only show people clearly on steroids. The staff if available harass you whilst using equipment to join a class. The staff also favour steroid users. Can’t wait for my contract to end so I can find a better gym.

Well everything and I suggest you get in touch regarding the stalking and the staff ignorance and illegal behaviour towards myself stalking and bullying me inside and outside the gym
However the police have been notified I am truly disgusted by the verona mcfit service and support.
I also suggest that for people that think it is OK to bully and stalk someone in and out of the gym it is illegal behaviour
There is a 5 year prison sentence for this good luck as you will soon end up behind bars if you continue cyber bullying and stalking physically as well.
What a massive disappointment

Changes the contract without your permission and will lock you in for years of payment.

Is not able to explain anything clearly when you ask for help.

No WIFI at any locations.

What is the point of the Help Center, if you ignore messages?

I contacted Customer Service regarding a theft that occurred in the changing room. Despite reporting it to both the receptionist and customer service with the suggestion of installing cameras for increased security, I was told ‘there’s nothing we can do.’ This response raises concerns about the security of the lockers. If no preventive measures are in place, how can customers feel assured that their belongings are safe? As a paying member of this gym, it’s distressing to feel anxious every minute I’m working out. The lack of support from the gym and the unresponsiveness of the Help Center are deeply disappointing. After being a loyal member for over a year and experiencing this level of neglect, I am considering canceling my membership. It seems that loyal customers are not valued here.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at McFIT and feel compelled to share it here to warn others. I signed up for a trial membership and cancelled it within the stipulated trial period. Despite this, I was incorrectly billed and am now being contacted by a debt collection agency, Lexus.es.

The lack of transparency and poor customer service have been nothing short of appalling. Even after multiple communications, the issue has not been resolved. I've been left with no choice but to involve legal representation to protect myself from what I consider to be unethical business practices.

Here's what you need to know before signing up with McFIT:

Billing Issues: Even if you cancel within the trial period, you may still be billed incorrectly.

Poor Customer Service: Despite acknowledging my cancellation within the trial period, they have failed to correct the billing error.

Debt Collection: Incorrect billing led to unnecessary involvement of a debt collection agency, adding stress and inconvenience to what should have been a straightforward process.

Lack of Transparency: The terms and conditions are not clear, and the company is not upfront about their billing practices.

I strongly advise anyone considering a membership with McFIT to think twice. Protect yourself legally and consider other more reputable options for your fitness needs.

I became another victim of a cheap and low-quality fitness club.

History: Came to Berlin-Spandau from Slovakia in October 2022 on business for a couple of months, stayed with a friend, decided to go to a local fitness club because 2 months without sports is a long time.

An employee of the club "pissed in the ears" that registration at the place of residence is not required, a passport is enough and that they have a special promotion for 6 months for 1 euro. I said that only for two months, I was told "no problem", cancellation is possible. They were not even embarrassed that they gave another person's IBAN.

When I flew out two months later on urgent business, I was told that cancellation is not possible until I provide a deregistration document. They just froze my membership for a few months. On August 29, the conversation was repeated, but to no avail. Needless to say, my comments about their employee lying to me didn't work.

I contacted my lawyer in Bratislava. At the moment, together with colleagues in Germany, he is preparing a class action lawsuit because there were many such people.

Comrades in misfortune! Do not be lazy to sue! Such parasites should be squeezed out of the sports market! Sport is sacred!

P.S. Note for the "employees" of this "organization" - do not write your useless and stupid comments under this post, because this post is not for you, but for the people you deceived. See you in court.

I have signed up for 2021 Flensburg and trained for 5 months. Then the following I sign I cancel my contract. 1 year later I get an email that I have to pay 350 euros, otherwise they send the invoice to a payment company. Never sign up, it's a pure scam fitness. Just like 100 others who have the same problem as me. Never sign up guys, it's a scam.

These guys are SCAMMERS!!!! Please please please read this. Got signed with them 5 years ago. The guy who gave me the contract told me it was just for one year. It wasnt. There is a line in the contract that says you need to read on the website the terms. Where it said i had to cancel it otherwise its on going. If that isnt shady i dont know what is. So 4 years later i get the invoice. After 4 years are you ducking kidding me. They want me to pay like 900 euros. We settled on 300 euros because they where incapable of sending invoices earlier. So now everthing is paid. Months go by and i get a letter from a debit company that i still need to pay them.

Mcfit i hope you go bankrupt and all lose your hobs you deserve nothing more. Good for you that you found a little sneaky loophole I hope youre proud of your achievements.

I see mostly negative reviews here - as to be expected as a bad experience is always more like to draw a reaction than a positive one.

So, let's be honest, what should you expect for 25€ a month?

The number and range of machines and equipment is really very good - better than a lot of gyms that charge 3-4 times the amount per month.

The staff - at least in my branch (1020 Wien) are polite and helpful. The showers - on the infrequent occasion I need to use them - have been clean. It's true - you don't have trainers on the floor to help you.

My main gripe would be the instagram reels that pummel your vision on the cardio machines. I'm sure it's cheap, but couldn't we see something more useful - like diet tips, or instructions on using the machines? Instead it's a bit of a hellscape of everything that's wrong with the world of fitness.

Still, you get what you pay for.

Just avoid and go to another gym please.
They trap you into a contract and lie to you about the details of the contract.

It’s a scammy business model never had this experience in my home country (Ireland). But felt taken advantage when on Erasmus Germany.

Please just take your money to better use to another gym.

To update on the matter I have already spoken to Mcfit on the phone and through their contact form.

The isssue remains, to not go into to much detail I recieved a bill of over 400 euros, after having no contact from Mcfit for almost 2 years and returning to my home country. This is clearly a breakdown of the contractual agreement as I had already cancelled the gym through phone and in person at the desk where they informed me that my membership has been cancelled and no payment had been debited for the last two years and no communication either through email, phone or post.

Either this is there business model or an error has occured in their accounting and there are fronting me for the bill.....

Very nice interaction during signing the contract. However, once you sign the contract, they are pain in the ass for next interactions. They make it impossible to end the contract, now with 6 months penalty. They keep charging and we remain clueless what to do next. Please avoid his group if you have an opportunity to do so before signing.

During the pandemic, they asked members to keep paying their memberships while the gym was closed to support McFit (I did), yet McFit does not support it’s members.
Between the overcrowding (always an issue at McFit-Moabit, made worse now by the restricted hours) and the poorly maintained and low quality equipment, it is very difficult to get a quality workout here.
I have had a membership here since early 2016. When the equipment, especially the cardio, becomes defective, it often stays that way for up to a year. Case in point: since 2016, the two Stair Master’s have rarely worked at the same time. One went defective in Feb of 2022, was removed in the summer, leaving an exposed electical pipe for people to trip over (hazardous), and was finally replaced this Jan. with a cheap, flimsy knock-offe, not suited for a home gym, let alone a commercial gym, just in time for the one good Stair Master to become defective.
As of this November, 7 of the 15 tread mills were defective, four of the elliptical (cross-fit) machines, one of the stair masters, 5 of the weight machines and several of the toilets (I have pictures to prove it). The situation has improved, but ongoing maintenance and crappy equipment is always a problem.
New after the pandemic, member cards no longer lock the lockers after two hours. If you need to take a shower, you have to leave your valuables open. Hours are now restricted, but only at McFit Moabit. Near impossible to get a good workout before work if you have to at 8 or 9, after work – too crowded until close to closing time.
I have visited some of the McFits in Berlin and they seem to be somewhat better.

All the reviews on here are truthful. This is an absolute scumbag company that tries to steal your money. No empathy, no reason, just give us the money we unlawfully charged from your account or we will threaten you with legal action.

Similar experience to the others, with the payment

I went to Brescia for a work trip and i wanted
to go for one month to the gym, and at the front desk told me I could pay for two-month membership BUT THEY NEVER INFORMED ME THAT I HAVE TO CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP AT THE END OF THE TWO MONTHS so aftet i have left Brescia and 4 months later i discovers a mail from Mcfit that i had to pay them 85,80 €. that they are going to use a debt collector and take legal action.
I submitted a complaint on their website, but there was message from them, a "we're sorry, we're experiencing high volumes and we will answer to you at the next 15 days.
I am waitiing to see if there will be an answer.

Similar experience to others here. I went to Germany for a work trip, and the front desk told me I could pay for a three-month membership. I had to pay with a wire transfer, it was overly complicated, that's about all I remember.

Four years later, I receive an email claiming I owe them 600 euros and that they are going to use a debt collector and take legal action.

I submitted a complaint on their website, try to call them, and try to log in, but every reply is "we're sorry, we're experiencing high volumes." Even the reset password feature sends an email claiming they have a high support volume...

Not that I would, but I can't just pay the 600 euros to make this go away, because there's no way to cancel my account!

I'm not going to pay it. Luckily I have contacts in Germany with my company, I just can't imagine what it would be like if you didn't.

How is this a legal way to do business in Germany?

Hello, I have been going to McFit on Zeil. I have provided feedback about the cleanliness in the shower area and the washbasins in the changing room to the available trainer on the desk for about 5 times now but its the same. Unfortunately, it is not being fixed. The changing room is in a sorry state. Its so unhygienic and isnt clean when i visit gym. Going late hours shouldnt be an excuse because i am visiting gym in the open hours and this should be cleaned irrespective of the time in the day i am visiting gym. The sad part is, its been a couple of months and i have not found the mentioned areas cleaned or in hygenic state even for once. This is very disappointing.

After 6 months of leaving Germany and quiting the membership via online page, received a 230eur payment. Turns out the website lagged and did not quit the membership. Tried calling and writing emails explaining the situation, added all the proof that i wasn't even in Germany the last 6 months. Nothing helped. I guess the scheme of the gym is to make it as difficult to quit as possible + since i am foreigner, they don't accept cash and added like 7 euros each month to the balance for the transactions. Total lack of humanity and ended up being more expensive than all competitors.

Impossible to cancel membership even though you have a flexible contract with one month notice period. You can't cancel in person, and you have to send a form via their site. They never reply and just continue to charge money from your account. Never experienced worse customer service in my life.

Dirty gym with lazy staff. On top of that they commit IBAN discrimination and becaude they do that also charge unlawful feels to people who transfer directly (hundreds of euros worth). Then you ask why they are doing it and despite contacting them twice a week it takes them 6 months to get back to you without any real answers. I honestly have never had such a horrid experience with a gym before. And that's aside from all the sexist roided up men that go there and take all the equipment and don't clean or put anything away.

Stay away at all costs! They requested the whole money even if their studios were closed during Covid and two years later they still ask for money from me for 2020!!!!!
Better sign up with a local gym and do some local business some good instead of this fraud!!!!
