They got me a decent van ,and plus the APR is very low on it so repayments are low as well.

They told me I had been accepted for…
They told me I had been accepted for finance and and someone would call me the next day to see if I found a car I wanted to proceed with. No one called so I called them to be told I had been declined even thought I was told the day before I was accepted- poor communication from them

This was our third time purchasing a car through Match Me, and unfortunately, this time we experienced serious issues with the vehicle very early on.
We initially tried to resolve the problems directly with the dealer, Hillington Motor Company in Glasgow, but after six months of delays, blame-shifting, and a complete lack of interest in helping, we were getting nowhere.
As a last resort, we contacted Match Me for assistance, and that's when Leeann from the complaints team stepped in. She went above and beyond for us from start to finish.
The dealer's behaviour became increasingly concerning. They collected our car and then refused to tell us where it was or when it would be inspected. It got to the point where we had to report the vehicle as stolen because they would not disclose its location. Leeann took charge, managed to locate the car, and helped us regain control of the situation.
We already had two independent reports confirming the faults, but the dealer still refused to accept responsibility and seemed to believe consumer rights did not apply to their business. Match Me arranged for the vehicle to be assessed by a Land Rover specialist, who confirmed the issues, and they covered the costs involved in getting the car repaired. I sincerely hope they recover those costs from Hillington Motor Company.
A special mention to salesman Joe, who was extremely unhelpful throughout the process, denied any liability, and often ignored calls or ended conversations abruptly. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this dealership.
Leeann, however, was outstanding. She got us back on the road at no cost to us and provided support every step of the way. Without her and Match Me's intervention, we would have been left with a vehicle that was unusable after only a couple of months of ownership.
Thank you again, Leeann. Your professionalism, persistence, and commitment to helping us made all the difference.
