I recently bought a second hand Brompton from Marcus and I couldn't be more pleased. I chatted beforehand and was able to pay a deposit to reserve the bike so I could come to the shop for a test ride. I've never had a Brompton before and Marcus was really friendly and knowledgeable, and talked me through the features and spec of the bike, how to fold/unfold etc. The bike was in great condition, and I was able to cycle away there and then. 10/10 would recommend, couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Really smooth going selling my used electric Brompton. I asked around different shops and Marcus quoted a good price. I had the option of dropping off the bike or having it delivered from my home for a slight reduction in the selling price. The shop was far for me so I opted to have it delivered – while I was a bit wary of sending something this expensive without being there, I was reassured by positive reviews from others. The process turned out to be very smooth with Marcus being communicative throughout. I got the payment the same day once the mechanic had a look over the bike.

Sold 2x Bromptons to Marcus bikes. They were engaging - sent photos and got a price. On delivery, they gave me less than offered as one bike found to have issues hard to see on photos. So 4 star rather than 5 just as got less than was offered, but absolutely agree that bike was well used and hard to see on photos.

Really quick and helpful.

I wanted to sell my Brompton quickly, fuss free. I sent over a dozen pictures on WhatsApp got a quick response with two quotes for either collect from me or, the option I went for, to drop off at the shop (SW12). Both quotes seemed reasonable to me. All very quick and efficient, with funds in my account before I left the shop.

It was interesting to read previous Trustpilot reviews of Marcus Bikes as they show that my excellent experience is not an isolated example but the way that Marcus conducts his business. Selling my Brompton earlier this month was an extremely professional and straightforward process. The rating by Meliz of January 10th mirrors my experience. I would add that my bike was located in semi-rural Northern England and the courier that Marcus arranged was exceptionally efficient and great value for money.

I bought a bike off Marcus bikes. Not only is it in excellent condition they were also so helpful making sure I understood how to maintain the bike. I've not had tubeless tires before so they explained how punctures work with them. They put on new bottle cages for me, added clip in pedals and a saddle bag. The bike looks brand new and I can ride it knowing it's been serviced and has a warranty. The guys in there are very welcoming and helpful.
