Nice product for those who care about the ergonomic conditions. Enough robust, the quality is good to support the weight of hardware and pressure of your hands. Easy to handle, the kit remains a bit heavy to move frequently.

I bought a office chair from Jacob Bek did not expecting much. But I was suprised that the delivered item looks almost identical to the promotion picture online. It made of good quality material and the design is tasteful. I hope it will stand the test of time, but till now it had exceeded my expectation.

Desk works as expected. It is very nice

The desk is really good and sturdy looking forward to using it.

I was first a bit worried - After my order I didn t have any update on order status.
However, now, two weeks later, I got delivered the chair. Everything went perfectly well, the chair was well protected - thank you !

The agreed delivery date was correct.
Quality was perfect.

They let you order chairs and then they sent you a mail that they are sold out. You can change colour or you have to wait for 3 weeks. Not even offer you money back. Then I went back to the site and I still could order them.... They promiss quick delivery but the reality is not taht at all....that is as they will even deliver...really not ok...

I ordered one Ericson Office Chair (white colour) at Retro Europe on 26 Nov 2021 and it arrived on 6 Dec 2021. While assembling it, I noticed that the white leather coating for both armrests were smeared with rust. I reported this to Anna at Retro Europe on 9 Dec and I received only unprofessional emails to clean the rust of myself, which is not possible. She even accused me of sending false photographs of the rusted items. After several complaints without reply from Retro Europe, I finally received notice on 23 Dec 2021 that they will send me replacement parts. As of today (15 Feb 2022), I have still not received the replacement parts nor is Retro Europe reacting to my follow up-emails. The only way to return the complete item is by covering the full costs of transporting it back from Germany to Spain. This experience is both staggeringly unprofessional and demonstrates bad faith from Anna and Retro Europe. I’m extremely unhappy with this deceptive company and I warn anyone from purchasing any goods from them in future. I will be following up with the consumer protection authorities in Spain.

VORSICHT schlechte China-Qualität und miserable Kundenbetreuung sobald überwiesen.

Leider kann ich nicht von guten Erfahrungen schreiben.
Ich habe einen Bürostuhl (laut Retroeurope Rücksendeware ohne Gebrauch) und eine neue Arc Floor Lamp (Kopie) bei Retroeurope gekauft.
Nach der verspäteten Anlieferung ohne vorherige Absprache habe ich die Artikel ausgepackt und den Bürostuhl in sehr gebrauchten Zustand vorgefunden. Zahlreiche starke Kratzspuren und Lackabplatzungen in einer Größe bis zu eine 5 Cent-Münze. Der Standfuß hatte Scheuerspuren vermutlich durch die Schuhsohlen des Vorbesitzers und tiefe Verätzungen die auch mit Poliermittel nicht viel verbessert wurden und kleinere Abriebspuren am Kunstlederbezug.

Die neue Arc Floor Lampe hat im Lampenschirm Lackschäden und bis zu 20 Cent-Münzen große Rostflecken.

Bei Reklamation mit mehreren aussagekräftigen Fotos wurde mir lediglich garantiert dass es sich nicht um Gebrauchtware sondern um Neuware handelt. Ich habe dann nochmals geschrieben dass es sich auf Grund der Fotos offensichtlich um gebrauchte Rückware bzw. beschädigte Neuware handelt.
Leider ohne Ergebnis.
Offensichtlich spekuliert Retroeurope darauf dass im Fall von Reklamationen sie auf Grund des spanischen Firmenstandortes auch bei berechtigten Reklamationen diese einfach aussitzen können.

Gut gemachte Verkaufsfotos von schlechter Chinaware.
Wer hier kauft kauft womöglich zwei Mal. Und du wirst dann noch mit Werbemails überschüttet.
Leider nicht zu empfehlen,

NACHTRAG: Von wegen geringfügige Mängel. Gerne veröffentliche ich hier aussagekräftige Fotos des im Preis geringfügig reduzierten Stuhles und der NEUEN Lampe. Leider ist das hier nicht möglich. Die Firmenanwort sagt schon viel. Sind es jetzt gebrauchte Artikel oder keine ?
VORSICHT Mich ärgert so ein Geschäftverhalten sehr und ich nehme mir deshalb Zeit um andere potenzielle Käufer zu warnen. Wer hier kauft kauft womöglich nochmals. Aber es gibt augenscheinlich auch zufriedene Käufer.

Unfortunately, I cannot write of any good experiences.
I bought an office chair (according to Retroeurope return goods without use) and a new Arc Floor Lamp (copy) from Retroeurope.

After the late delivery without prior agreement, I unpacked the items and found the office chair in a very used condition.
Numerous strong scratches and flaking paint in a size of up to a 5 cent coin.
The stand had scuff marks, presumably from the previous owner's shoe soles, and deep burns that were not improved much with polishing agents, as well as minor abrasion marks on the synthetic leather cover.

The new Arc Floor lamp has paint damage in the lampshade and rust stains up to 20 cent coins.
In the event of a complaint with several meaningful photos, I was only guaranteed that it was not used goods but new goods.
I then wrote again that, based on the photos, it was obviously used returned goods or damaged new goods. Unfortunately without result.

Obviously, Retroeurope is speculating that in the case of complaints, due to the Spanish company location, they can simply sit out justified complaints.

Well-made sales photos of bad chinaware. Whoever buys here may buy twice. And then you will be showered with advertising emails.
Unfortunately not to be recommended.

ADDITION: Minor defects? I am happy to publish meaningful photos of the chair, which is slightly reduced in price, and the NEW lamp. Unfortunately that is not possible here. The company answer says a lot. Are they used items now or none?
CAUTION This kind of business behavior annoys me very much and I therefore take the time to warn other potential buyers. Whoever buys here may buy again. But apparently there are also satisfied buyers.

We're very happy and satisfied with our purchase. Good quality for reasonable price, exactly as promised, and delivered within 10 days. Refreshingly efficient and good service. Can strongly recommend this company!

UPDATE: October 2021: It's been a year since I've bought the chairs now. I didn't use them anymore but kept them for warranty reasons. But now I have thrown them really out and I have given up on claiming warranty because they simply do not reply to any form of communication (only if you want to buy something they are quick with their responses in every language you want. Warranty services simply doesn't exist. 10 Years they say! If only.....

I can't conclude anything else then they are a scam. A one man organisation that acts like a family driven company but is in fact one person that sells great looking stuff but poor quality. I don't complain easily and don't do reviews very often but the way they ignore me is ridiculous. I've tried to call many times, usually they don't pick up (also no answering machine or computer) but once someone accidentally picked up the phone.. She was shocked she had a customer on the phone but forwarded me to Ana... ques what, disconnected... Calling back they didn't pick up the phone anymore. So, these are my last words on this hole matter: Do yourself a favor and don't buy at Retro Europe.

October 2020 I bought two ericsson office chairs. They are nice looking but the quality is shockingly bad. After 2 months the first cracks became visible. After 6 months the chairs have run out of life and I have to throw them away! I have repeatedly tried to contact Retro Europe about this by mail and phone but they simply don't pickup and do not reply at my emails. When I had questions before I purchased them they were very quick with their replies. So I am afraid they are not who they want you to think they are. Most likely they are selling cheap stuff that looks good but has no quality.... pity... If quality was good I would definitely have bought some more...
