Good pens, decent value, but not all useful colors.

I was very excited about Magnetips. The pens are ok, but a little overpriced. They are not the best quality of pens for the price. The gel colors are beautiful but I was expecting fineliners like originally advertised. They are fine, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else or buy them again.

Impressed with service, replacing my pen inks as they were dried out. Quick and efficient.

Great customer relations.pretty colours,but a bit fiddly. Have had trouble with them drying up,or not working at all when I irst got them.they allways responded quickly and replaced free of charge

It is quite an expensive product, but I am really happy that I bought it. Good quality in my opinon

I originally backed magnetips prior to them being brought to market. Randomly the ink in all but two of the refills dried up. I contacted them and they replaced them immediately. From the time I placed the order to replace the refills to the time they actually were at my door was less than 4 days (and over a weekend)! Thank you for taking care of your customers. I will continue to purchase refills for the pens/markers. They come in a good array of colors and they are bright, bold and full of color. So far I haven’t had fading issues or bleeding either.

Got the set of these ... as a gift ... all dried up ... opened the refills to give a try - these are dried as well ...

Not especially happy ... had to smile through gritted teeth and tell the giver - yeah love them - as didn't want to dissappoint them ...

and yeah they are cool ... but yet to see them working ... so not so happy - that my friend wasted their money ...

2 Stars - would have been more as concept is cool ... but if they don't work as pens seems a bit pointless ...

Hardly any ink comes out when you write, I would have guessed they were all dried up already but I haven’t even used them. Pretty bummed out, I have these great looking pens but with this type of function I won’t even be using them.

Problem with my original order was immediately resolved. Very considerate company in my experience. The pens themselves are super fun to use. Anticipating the gel version's release.

The magnets work great, but for some reason the pen part doesn’t work, and I don’t know if they were damaged. But they do work thought.

The pens barely worked at all before the dried out. Terrible ink and longevity, but I did love the concept. I hesitate bying refills, as I would expect them to dry up as well, especially since I have the whole set and won't be using every color very frequently. Too bad, really.

I bought a pack and none of the pens worked but when i emailed them and told then my situation, they gave me 2 packs of refills for free! Very nice i have them now and i'm very happy with the products, thanks

I’m very disappointed ! I got this pens for my son birthday present but the ink on most of the pens doesn’t work or it’s dry out !

I bought these pens as a gift for my girlfriend who is a designer, she is currently living in Bangkok and when she opened them she found it was not possible to write with a single pen. All the ink was dry, these cost a lot of money and are a cool idea but when it is impossible to use them it really makes you feel dissapointed that I bought them as a gift for her and waisted my time bringing them across. Seriously you cannot write with a single pen. The magnet stuff is cool but yeah, what a waste of money. My advice don't buy.

I bought a full set of magnetips from firebox. When they arrived they were totally dried out and unuseble. Firefox did not ha e any refills to give me as a replacement and told me there was no point in sending out a new set of pens as they would be dried out also.
I then had to place an order for refills with magnetips direct. It has now cost me @£60 for a working set of pens. They most certainly are not worth this amount of money and I would not purchase again.

Update, since posting this review I have been contacted by magnetips and been refunded the cost of the refills.

Great pens, even better that they are easily filled once they are used up or dried out. Quick shipping as well!

While the pens are a unique and clever idea, the pens themselves are not up to par. However, I was pleased with the company's customer satisfaction which is key to a successful company and was offered a free refill packet to replace my unused but dried out inks. I inserted all of the new ink refills but the black refill was dry upon opening. Once again, I will be contacting the company to make things right.

I contacted customer services and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
