Update for the same problem: January 23, 2025. I still have the problem, and if you look at the date I initially reported this problem—that is exactly one whole week without a Dutch phone number so I can get back to apps in social media and other verification.
While waiting for the resolution, I had to change to a new iPhone device. Please read my email with a photo of my EID, IMEI, and ICCID number from the latest iPhone so you can help me. If you resolve this problem, I will renew my subscription with Lycamobile.nl for another year and have your company handle all other roaming services.
This happened to me on 15/16 January 2025, but I left NL the next day without a working phone number.
"It's been many hours waiting for my phone number to work with eSIM
I rate this Lycamobile.nl only a 3-star (temporary today) until they can fix my phone e-SIM problem within the next 12 hours or before I go on my trip outside of NL.
I changed my iPhone, and the eSIM doesn't carry easily within "1 hour," as promised. That was this morning, and now it is nighttime, and my phone is still not working.
I spent all day from this morning to tonight, and I still have a problem moving my eSIM from one iPhone device to another. Lycamobile.nl told me it only took 1 hour, but even though I had friendly people like Nicole, rest assured, my problem would be escalated to the customer service team to help. Still, Lycamobile.nl needs to change its slowness and inability to help customers.
It has been over 14 hours, and I still can't use my phone. I leave tomorrow at noon for my trip outside of NL. This is the second time I have had the same problem, and I'm so frustrated.
Please, Lycamobile CS, read my reference number and try to fix this problem. If you help me, I promise to raise my rating.

Terrible. Data plan is so sketchy.
Top up my balance regularly with 6gb but always receive messages about the data is already used 80% within a span of few days although I only used at night, not at all during the day. If I don’t top up immediately then the data will not be able to work at all, but then when I check the data remaining on the app, it’s still a bunch left. Super confusing and now I have double transaction of data plans, with NO WAY TO CANCEL. Does not happen once but a few times. I need a refund or at least cancel the double transaction but not sure how Lycamobile will respond.

What an absolute sh1t show. Lyca made two deductions in total of €45 from my account. When i called the useless call centre agent, he said to me that he cannot assist me because only one transaction is reflecting (nevermind the fact that this transaction was also fraudulent). Steer clear from this bunch.

I got Marizabel from customer service to help me to resolve an issue. Helpfull and professional, I was positivly suprised with this experience. Thought about moving to other provider when faced with unexpected problem with my Sim card. But Im staying:)

Basically a scam
Purchased 3GB of data for 10 euros, only 1GB was activated. Called customer service multiple times = useless, saying the problem is under investigation (meanwhile I paid and don't have access to data) and that they will provide an update within 24 hours (of course never happens). Asked to apply for a refund and was told it isn't possible while the bundle is activated???
Avoid this provider at all costs

First let me tell you that customer support is nonexistent here, long periods of time with back and forth emails that lead nowhere and issues remain unresolved.
I requested a refund and after confirming everything, I’m still waiting after a few weeks with no updates. (Got called from call center but English in voicemail is not understandable, employees should speak clearly, especially in UK)
Now, I bought data bundle M (10€) that states I will receive 3GB of data, but what I got is 1GB - which does not make sense how this issue could even occur.
I have provided every detail to help this process go smooth but at this point - it’s just getting worse & worse.
I am still waiting for the refunds, after, I will just switch to another data provider as the apps lack UX Design, no help for customers, bad communication, lags & bugs, it’s just insane…
Please people, avoid this company at all costs, it’s not worth it, rather go to odido.
And Lyca team, please do not remove this review.

Hello Lyca , Just ported in my number from Lebara after using for 8 years to Lyca,
Its been first day and already network dropped two times in between calls and Mobile data is running on E which is too slow , not even once it went to 4g.
i will cancel my subscription on first day it self and go back to lebara.
