Hello, my Lyca Mobile Italy eSIM suddenly stopped working today. My iPhone 13 shows “No SIM”. I can still log into my Lyca account, and my number, balance, and active plan are all visible.

I had a wonderful experience with Lyca Mobile's customer care. There was an issue with an incorrect automatic charge of €6.99, but Shreya resolved it smoothly and professionally. She confirmed that my refund has been successfully processed. Huge thanks to Shreya for her excellent support and kind assistance!

Bought a eSIM, 6.99€ no ID they said it’s instant activation. Then they asked for full legal documents video 100 different questions. I did that and then they still rejected me. False advertising. I asked for a refund and none was given no one got back to me. BIG WASTE OF MONEY!

Confirmed auto-renewal cancellation with Lyca in writing. Was still charged $20 twice on 19 April and 17 May. Customer support refuses refund, hiding behind "expired plan policy" – ignoring that the charges were unauthorized after cancellation. Also sold me a SIM (ICCID: 89610300003330048720) that never worked. Have provided bank statements, mobile numbers (61469035174 and 61469380484) , ICCID, and verification details multiple times. They keep asking for the same information. Very disappointing. Escalating to bank and TIO.

The worst, they don't answer any emails and chat messages. Don't expect any help ever; you are on your own to figure it out, and their app has so many ridiculous bugs.

Do not trust this company with your payment details! I bought a simple prepaid plan and explicitly made sure the "automated renewal" option was switched completely OFF. I even logged into my online account to double-check—the system clearly showed auto-renew was disabled and that no further charges were scheduled.
Despite this, Lycamobile has been secretly charging my credit card every single month through Google Pay.
When I caught the unauthorized charges, my credit card company was only able to refund me up to 4 months retroactively. The rest of my money is stuck. Lycamobile’s customer service is an absolute joke. They refuse to help or handle this over the phone, and they just direct you to the exact same generic support email address that hundreds of other ignored customers are complaining about online. I have been sending emails to this exact address for weeks attaching my bank statements as proof, and I am being completely ignored.
. Stay far away from Lycamobile!

Absolutely terrible, tried to move my wife and my contracts from Iliad to Lyca Mobile IT as they still include the UK in their roaming. I say tried as bought a SIM and did the port and nothing happened both for my and my wifes contracts. Emailed and no response for 3 weeks, called and got a quick answer that someone will respond and still nothing. After 2 months have cancelled everything and will look to FastWeb who still include the UK in their roaming, little bit more expensive but considering how poor Lyca Mobile Italy was I am happy to spend the extra.

They think the customer are just idiots if git any issue there is no complaint almost 2 months i am stuck with small issue but they don't care and hang off the call

If you only can, choose another provider because Lycamobile fails on so many levels I don't even know where to start. The interface is as user unfriendly as it possibly can be. They also go to great lenghts to make the customer experience really suck. My pet peeve - autotop up is switched on by default, to make sure that you keep getting charged if you forget to cancel your plan. If you DO remember to switch it off - it couldn't just be a simple toggle in settings could it? The toggle is there but when you set it to "off" it initiates a request process that takes anywhere from 2-5 days. Charges keep coming in the meantime. Since I only use this card sparringly when visiting Italy, I ended up having the recharge runnning for several months because the toggle apparently does not work over roaming even if the card is connected to the network and roaming data enabled. Customer service is uattainable in case you tried an actual human to help you solve for Catch 22.

AWFUL SCAM !
It is impossible to activate the eSIM despite no conditions written on the package (the payment went through very rapidly though). No contact via email, phone or chat bot! Please avoid !

Yesterday I requested the porting of my old number on LycaMobile, but at first my new sim got assigned a new phone number. I was confused, so I called the helpline and in a matter of seconds they told me that it was a temporary phone number given before the porting.
100% satisfied with the support. Let's see if also the plan will be as great
