After having made an order and having paid more than € 550,-- they do not follow up and even do not answer emails (tel is out of order)
To be honest I'm a newbie to brewing my own ,my sons bought me a cider kit for fathers day ,but obviously I had no idea of what kit you needed to get started ,I googled home brewing companies and love brewing came up ,we ordered starter kit and from first ordering to delivery this company couldn't have done anything better ,regular emails to let me know what stage of my order was at.The order arrived very promptly and on time intact within days of ordering, ive started my first batch of cider and all I can say is ,when this one is finished I will be ordering my next kit off them.Cheers lovebrewing.co.uk you certainly have a new fan
Order received next working day. Everything was present and correct, well packaged and in good condition. Communication was excellent. I received rapid confirmation following order and courier arrived within the advised time slot. Best experience so far from any of the home brew suppliers I've used.
I am sorry to hear so many negative reviews here. This is not my experience at all...
I have like many people started brewing again this year, the BeerWorks kits are superb. Forget pub beer... Beer in a barrel starts to oxidise the moment it is cracked open... whereas a well brewed proper bottle conditioned beer is like the first good pint out of a barrel - every time.
Something went wrong with one of my orders, an item was missed off by mistake and initially I didn't get a reply to my enquiry. Of course I was annoyed, that's only natural, but we sorted it out together like adults and all is well again.
This is ALL I ask of ANY company.
Things go wrong - that's life - the true measure of a person or a company is what they do when things go wrong, no matter what it is. Do they try and resolve it like adult human beings, or do they turn it into a running battle like sad sociopaths who can never admit they might be wrong about something, apologise and want to make the best of a bad situation and move on with a positive outcome.
Which companies will survive? The sulking narcissistic sociopaths or understanding and forgiving human beings?
A burning question for 2020 it would seem!!
I am a very honest and open person, I never ever lie, it is impossible for me to do so. When something is bad, I say it is bad. When something is truly abusive and awful I say so, when something is good or when something is truly outstanding I say so...
LoveBrewing and their BeerWorks kits have changed my appreciation of beer and home brewing - absolutely outstanding!!!
Honestly, I have never experienced such poor customer service. Rude, lax and either negligent or just happy to lie. They took our money, didn't deliver as promised and then deducted a £50 shipping fee when we returned the item.
The GM was rude, dismissive, ultimately made a promise he couldn't deliver on and then penalised us for it when we returned the item. He blamed the bank, blamed DPD for not supplying a shipping code and finally blamed us for the way we run our business.
There are plenty of wonderful companies supplying Brewing kit. Avoid these thieves at all costs.
Ordered a wine kit over a week ago, it was stuck in the processing stage all that time.
After enquiring via email, it turned out they didn't have stock or that the stock they had failed “quality checks“, and were waiting for stock from their supplier that week (still a week after I ordered mind).
But upon my email they contacted their supplier, the item would be due December, well over a month from when I ordered.
Frankly I find the “quality check“ excuse suspect, and I suspect they simply sold stock they didn't have in hope of a resupply from their supplier.
But if the excuse was true, surely the first thing you do if a product fails quality check is to notify the customer who ordered, the fact the only contact came after I chased after them sums up the experience.
Issues happen, I've ordered enough stuff online to realise that, it's how the company reacts that is important to me, in this instance the company failed miserablely having zero contact until I pushed them.
Ordered various items all of which arrived reasonably quickly. However, one of 2 packs of hops had been punctured during the dispatch/delivery process meaning that the hops packet was no longer vacuum sealed (and therefore potentially contaminated). Not wanting to risk contaminating a whole batch of beer, I requested a replacement. The reply I got was "it should be fine to use if you put it in the fridge immediately". Several e-mails back and forth have not resolved this and I have now binned the hops rather than waste a whole batch of beer.
The tone of the e-mails from Love Brewing were very dismissive and for the sake of the cost of a bag of hops, it is a very disappointing outcome. Customer service very poor - I will not be back.
I have been dealing with Love Brewing , Chesterfield for a number of years . I have found that their products and service to be first class
bought a 30 bottle chardonnay kit , had a problem when using,it was totally something I was doing wrong, contacted love brewing for some advice I had the best help you could ask for ,I've honestly never had such helpful customer service, the wine was great as well ,these kits will give you a really good wine and in a short time just get organised and watch the brilliant video guides

It's nice to see a company doing so well it can treat its customers with contempt!
All e-mails via there online website were ignored regarding a missing delivery (this company uses DPD), The staff answering the phone line will only deal with new orders, You get told to e-mail for all other enquiries (no exception).
Fortunately for me I had paid via PayPal who were also completely ignored via Love Brewing,
Thanks to PayPal I managed to get reimbursed by default on PayPal's policy.
Love Brewing's website doesn't even have the facility to delete your own account.
Perhaps this company's policy is to ignore people for long enough that they will just 'go away',
I can assure them that I have 'gone away'.
But it's not all bad for Love brewing, they've saved £26:00 worth of in store vouchers that were happily binned.
This company may “love brewing” but they certainly don't love their customers.
Telephoned in to place the order of a stainless steel fruit press and the guy on the phone couldn't have been any nicer. Ordered the press around lunchtime and was with me in Northern Ireland the very next evening. I can't fault them in anyway, the best i have dealt with in a very long time.
Just made a order yesterday
Very friendly and helpfull
Great prives to
Ordered there craft beer series look real good
Will be using again
A couple of weeks ago I wrote a review slating LoveBrewing after a series of attempts to contact them and resolve various issues with brewing equipment purchased some time ago.
Since then I've successfully made contact with Ian (who responded to my previous TrustPilot review). Clearly LoveBrewing have some issues with their website and the way customers are able to contact their customer services - only through a form completed on their website.
Some / many ( I don't know which) of these contact completed forms to their customer services appear not to get through to them. So they don't respond as they have not seen them. That's an issue they as a company need to resolve.
Once I was in contact with Ian I made an arrangement to take the apple press back to the shop for the parts which had failed to be replaced. The press in question has evolved in design a bit and it ended up with me being given a brand new version of the press.
I never expected that and the situation is totally resolved.
It seems to me that Love Brewing is a company expanding well in the past 5 years and as with many in that position it takes its toll on the 'systems' as the expansion happens. Systems and ways of responding to problems need to evolve and this is an area where Love Brewing need to pay some attention.
What is positive is that the company has in Ian an employee handling customer relations who is streets ahead of where it was 3 or 4 years ago. That's positive. Good luck with making progress.
Bought their granular carbon filtering system. Carbon flushed out due to holes too large. Pipe impossible to fit over end. Tap leaked.
Promised a mesh disc would be put in post still waiting two weeks later.
Left negative feedback on their web site surprise surprise its not been posted.

Very unfortunate experience. They would not let me return an item that was a few days over their 14day return policy. That's their prerogative but they did so in such a dismissive and discourteous manner that I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere.
Update 28/10/2019 - Despite saying that they wish to 'resolve' this issue, I have now not heard from Love Brewing for two weeks and can only assume they are ignoring my complaint again.
I would also point out an inaccuracy in response to my complaint. They state; "I can see we closed this case after receiving your note of intent to post negative reviews". From the transcript below, you will see that I merely asked them to reconsider, as surely there could be a few days grace on their returns policy.
I usually like to think the best of people and the above could be a simple admission, rather than a lie to make themselves look better. However, based on my experience to date, I am not so sure.

"Good morning,
I recently received a very nice birthday present purchased from your shop (refer attached Invoice SI-203198). Unfortunately, I live in a small, one-bed London flat and so really do not have enough room for such a large set-up. Therefore, I would like to return some of these items (wmp038 and wmp055).
Can you let me know how I would go about arranging this? I am not sure exactly when the goods were received by my partner, though they were only given to me a couple of days ago on my birthday (the 15th). Hopefully, this fits within your returns TnCs. I have retained all the original packaging."

"Good morning.
I am afraid our returns policy is only for 14 days. The bucket only takes up a very small area (like 300mls square) and will only be needed for 7 days"
foot note - The order contained a masher, press and fermentation bucket which would fill a standard cupboard easily. Where Love Brewing expected me to put these things after 7 days, I have no idea. They clearly did not consider what I was saying in my email at all.
ME - Sep 17, 08:56 BST
"I must admit that I am somewhat taken aback by your response.
As explained, I only received this gift 2 days ago on my birthday (the 15th). I am not sure when it is delivered, though surely you can have some flexibility in your returns policy?
I urge you to reconsider."

"Hello there,
What do I think of your customer service? It's terrible.
The initial response I received was dismissive and discourteous, a thinly veiled 'computer says No'. I have yet to receive a response to my follow up email (see below). However, seeing as you are now asking for feedback, I don't suppose I ever will.
I am aware of your T&Cs regarding 14days return, though I would've expected a more human response. Especially from a company with 'Love' in its name, or is that supposed to be ironic?
My interaction with your company has been far below the standards of what I expect from modern online traders. I will be sharing my experience as widely as possible, so prospective customers can make an informed decision between you and your competitors."

I recently ordered the t500 still and other accessories from this company and in my opinion their customer service and aftercare is second to none. Having watched the informative YouTube instructions i have produced 90% clear spirit of outstanding quality
I ordered an item from this company for the first time and am very impressed with the very quick delivery.
I will definitely use them in the future.
What an incredible catalogue of products, they sell everything you could possibly need. Their site has some very useful videos which are very clear and to the point and a godsend for someone like me who is a bit of a beginner in all this. I just can't get all that in the area I live in, now I am on the internet I can get it delivered in no time.
The LovebrewingTeam does it again.
Order placed Monday at 08.03 arrived 12:04 today Tuesday.
A Big Cheers from me.
