I emailed to ask for the offered samples which did not come with my order. The elastic was very weak quality.

I'm very sorry if I missed it however I don't have a message from you and you did not check out with the free sample listing either. The elastic you ordered is knicker elastic - it is lightweight and flexible. If you require stronger elastic I recommend opting for our plush or scallop elastic. I hope you'll shop with us again! Stumbled onto a winner
I stumbled onto a winner when randomly googling DIY knicker kits…I bought a lovely quality brief making kit which was delivered super speedily. The bamboo fabric washes beautifully. I then kicked myself for not getting a pattern while I was at it, so went back onto the site to find the freebie pattern that was suggested for the kit. While there I got a bralette and brief pattern which was instantly downloadable. I was delighted that there was an A0 copy shop version as well as the print at home versions.
While loitering on the website I notice that Love & Lace also stock cotton lace!
