This is a great professional and friendly outfit. I had an issue recently with a latch lock which London Locks fixed for me at a very good price and it works perfectly now. I'm very happy to recommend London Lock as they really helped. Also very good communication and speedy response. All round very pleased with the service.

I had a very wonderful customer experience with the two gentlemen I interacted with. My problem was resolved speedily and with an awesome efficiency. They are very approachable and respond to calls promptly.

Lloyd has been absolutely great. Friendly, professional, transparent. He was over within the hour and explained to me what the issue was in clear and plain terms.
Not only he was able to fix my lock quickly, but he showed me what was wrong with it and explained the reasons why the lock broke.

I first used London Locks over a decade ago after a neighbour them.

When I needed a locksmith again last May 2025, I wasn't even sure they were still around - so I was pleasantly surprised to find they were! The quote they gave is what I paid (no surprises) and were very knowledgeable as the gearbox on my previous door had gone and knew what parts to order and replace.

I saw London Locks on BBC Breakfast this morning, assisting a BBC journalist with an investigation into expose rogue locksmiths. This says a lot about how trustworthy they are.

I am a landlord abroad and my tenant needed a faulty lock fixed. I contacted 2 lock smiths via email asking for quotes. Lloyd asked all the right questions to provide me with a quote. He co-ordinated with my tenant to arrange a suitable time. My tenant is really pleased it was resolved quickly and for me, toil free!

London Locks has a lot of wonderful reviews on Google talking about their; great service, craftsmanship, timeliness to attend jobs, excellent communication skills, accurate quotes and billing, and how they are highly trained and trusted within their profession and members of the Master Locksmiths Association. I agree with all of this and I could write a review detailing how they provided this service for me and more, but what impressed me most about the team was their absolute integrity as a business and commitment to keeping people as safe as possible in their homes. I walked into London Locks to complete what was meant to be a simple errand on my lunch break to get a spare key cut for my front door, after replacing the locks a few months previously with a different locksmith that I found on Google. The team at London Locks took one look at my house keys and knew that the locks on my front door were sub par, and were not the high security and fire safe locks that I had requested to be fitted, and charged a very high price for by a different rouge locksmith. The top lock was a 5 pin rim cylinder, and the bottom lock was a 3 lever deadlock which was only designed for an interior door like a bedroom. Like a lot of people, I had just googled local locksmiths and went with a rouge contractor that seemed reputable and could do the work straight away, and naively paid the price. They knew immediately that I had been scammed by someone who was not skilled at all, known as “49er’s” within the trade for quoting a low initial price, often £49 and dramatically increasing the actual price when they are on the doorstep, breaking the law known as doorstep selling and using a Bait and Switch scam that is unfortunately very common.

London Locks gave me quotes for different (actually) high security and fire safe locks along with a door chain, and came to fit a Finfort dual lock set up, with a night latch and deadlock version within a week. I got the version with a thumb turn inside for fire safety. Not only did London Locks do their job as a locksmith as you would expect and fit exceptionally secure locks that are 3 star kitemarked and approved by the police as being the best, Lloyd also encouraged me to report my original fraudulent locksmith to my bank to try and reclaim some of my money back, and provided me with the evidence and the legal terminology that I needed to do this. They went above and beyond as a team to keep me safe in my home; I don’t have the expertise in locks that they do, and I didn’t realise that I’d been scammed and would have been naively happy, thinking that my home was really secure when it wasn’t. I am beyond grateful.

The above is obviously important. But what really stood out for London Locks is that they are ACTUALLY HONEST!!! The first call out charge was a fair price. They did not have the required lock so had to come back for a second visit. The charge for the call back was fair and reasonable.

The payment process was a little strange. I was not familiar with the online payment, so felt a bit uncomfortable. However, I downloaded the PDF and paid by bank transfer - so no big dramas there!

I had a worn-out screw preventing me changing the lock. I called three locksmiths before them. First two were unconfident with a "might do" approach. The third one suggested the made-to-measure lock is a wrong one and tried to sell me a new one and asked for £120+VAT for labour. My spouse remembered London Locks being recommended by one of our neighbours. I called them and they told me I don't need to pay them as I can get a screw removal drill bit for £5 and do it myself. However, I called them anyways and they showed up at the time promised and fixed the matter in 2 minutes for £90 (VATA included). Completely transparent and trustworthy. Reasonably priced and timely.

Great service from these guys. Had issues with all the doors on our new house. They came and fixed all the issues in one visit. We were so impressed we called them back after discussing some security improvements and now have a "one-key house" where all locks work off the same 1 key, all high-security ABS 3-star cylinders throughout the property. Would not hesitate to recommend London Locks to anyone.

I would highly recommend London Locksmiths to anyone wanting their keys cut. Lloyd is very professional, polite and offers fantastic customer service to people that usually come to him in need of help.

Lloyd has a team of expert staff who are specialists in their field and are happy to go above and beyond to help. The key I needed cutting was a padlock key, a thick key which required a complex procedure to be cut. Bradley cut the key with ease and didn't take much time at all. London Locks also provide a guarantee of a full refund if their key doesn't work.

When I got home, I was very happy to find that the key fitted "like a glove' to the padlock and opens and closes it efficiently. When you visit them expect nothing but first class service and customer care at London Locks!

Lloyds Thomas, the Master Locksmith, gave me excellent customer service. The task was more challenging than expected. However, it was apparent that London Locks would go the extra mile with a firm commitment to achieve success. Friendly and professional throughout.

We were recommended to use London Locks by an estate agent. It was a good call - they did exactly as asked, turning up at the agreed time, getting the job done, and charging a reasonable price considering the location (London Congestion Charge Zone). We couldn't ask for anything more and I will gladly use them again, if the need arises

Having called, a locksmith arrived. (Shoreditch London) December 2014
Task: to adjust an electric lock strike and door closer.
Charged £65. After 2 days, same problem, called them back 3 more times. each time door closed properly for a day or two.
After 4th visit a refund was requested.
Refund refused!
Got the job done by an alternative. Door has caused no further problems.
Recommend finding a professional.
