Reacted quickly to my enquiry. Set expectations, arrived earlier than planned and cracked on. Sorted the problem out quickly and efficiently. No stress and great service. Would use again.

We originally contacted 'Locks-Express' on 8.4.25 to repair a lock on one of our holiday cottages, the guests had complained that they could not get in or out of the front door. A man named Dean arrived and fitted a new centre lock. He was there barely 20 minutes and charged £210.00
On 1.5.25 we had a further complaint that once again the guests could not get out of the front door of the same cottage. I contacted Dean on his mobile but he didn't answer so I left a message explaining that the lock had again failed and asked that he call me back. I did not hear from him so again I called back mid afternoon and again asked that he call me back leaving my mobile number. He did not call me back so the following morning my Husband called him on his mobile number and Dean answered, he refused to come back saying that he was busy and that we would need a Joiner to come and look at the door as there was a fault with the door (my Husband is a Joiner and did not believe that the door was the problem) I then contacted a different Lock Smith who came out immediately understanding that this was a fire hazard. The Lock Smith identified that the issue was not with the centre lock that Dean had replaced but was an issue with the top leaver which was faulty. The Lock Smith took out the top leaver and the door opened and closed perfectly, he advised that he would order a new top and bottom leaver as they come in pairs and would return the following week. I told him how much Dean had charged us and he thought it was astronomical.
There are a number of Lock Smiths in the Kendal/Grange over Sands area and I would recommend using one of these and NOT Locks Express

Fixed the broken back door quickly and neatly, and as he was on his way out the front door Dean very kindly tweaked the door catch which was out of alignment. Definitely would use this company again.

I contacted Dean via his website, after I saw his van in the local vicinity. As he was nearby, he popped round, and discussed the issue with my lock. I appreciated the fact that he offered to do the job there and then or give me time to think about it. I would definitely recommend Dean of Locks Express

I rang Dean on Monday morning and he arrived Monday afternoon. I had 4 doors that needed some attention. All is ok now. Very polite and helpful. I'll recommend him if friends have a problem.

Called Dean on Monday morning regarding a door that wouldn’t lock. He swiftly dealt with the issue - the mechanism was broken. All sorted and the tenant was happy.

I called Locks Express on Wednesday afternoon when my lock jammed so I could not lock the ten year old good quality composite door. Had no idea what to do with it. Expert was here at 09.00 next day and gone by 10.00, all dismantled, fixed and restored. Very reassuring and pleasant approach and excellent service.

My first experience of needing the services ofca locksmith; I had no idea of what to expect or prices, my issue was a jamming/stiff upvc door handle that was grinding and temperamental at locking. I called L.E. on a Friday night expecting to be seen the following week but Dean said he could attend Saturday lunchtime and he did. He was friendly, smart and made a point in showing me the problem. He gave me a choice of ways to fix it depending on my budget, which even the best was way below what I was expecting. I can definitely recommend Locks Express 10/10.

At short notice they attend my property and had the door open and a new lock fitted in next to no time. The staff are very well mannered and extremely professional in carrying out their work. I can highly recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Dean from Locks Express for any locksmith needs. He recently replaced our front multipoint lock and did an excellent job. He was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. Dean explained the different specifications available to us and helped us choose the right lock for our needs. He was also very careful and ensured that he left our property clean and tidy.
The price was very reasonable and competitive. We were very happy with the service and would definitely use Locks Express again in the future.
