The personal and the experience was good in the given circumstances.

The staff at Locauto were extremely helpful and at no point did I feel they were trying to upsell me or get one over on me, unlike the usual experience we have had with other companies when hiring a car in Italy. They facilitated a change in booking midway through, due to the eruption of Etna and also accommodated a change of return point, all without any fuss.

We choose Locauto because we were in front of other company desks with no queu line waiting for attendance without sucess. At Locaute, simpathy, empathy, problem solver and efficiency.

The process was easy! Very kind people in Catania airport. I didn’t need anything more. The parking that we had to return the car is a bit tricky to find it.

I was nervous about booking a rental car in Sicily due to all the negative reviews but I must say the experience with Locauto, booked through Auto Europe, was excellent. We arrived at the check in desk at the airport and we were not pressured into buying additional insurance as I told them I already paid for it through Auto Europe, whereas I see reviews saying other companies still insist. We then went to the area to collect the car, they gave us the car we ordered and also the child seats we requested. There was some minor damage on the car, which they were open and honest about, and they showed us that they already had it on record before we signed for it. On return they spent about 10 minutes checking the car, as expected, and there was no additional damage so we signed the return form and were off. They may have been slightly more expensive than some other firms but it was definitely worth it for the seamless experience.

The rental itself and the car were fine. There was a problem with communication regarding changing the drop-off location. Ultimately, we managed to return the car in a different city.

Generally ok. Our car was not ready when we arrived, but we were offerred another car for additional payment. Finding Locauto Parking at Catania airport is a real challenge, it was very annoying . The car was clean, our car was not fully tanked. Offfice staff nice and helpful, might be better English.

quick and easy handling altough very pricey for only one day

An easy and smooth process, thanks to the staff

Everything was smooth, the car was great, we needed small car to use it at the small and tiny streets in Sicilia.

Fast and professional service. Documents were in english language, employees were helpful, friendly. No random charges after trip, very small deposit of 0.01 eur.
Definetely recommend.
