Without Lionrock I would probably still be using. This program held me accountable and I felt safe and understood. I now have tools when I need them to stay sober. Sobriety isn't easy but I am worth it and so are you.

Just what i needed

I needed help and found LR. I haven’t looked back. The iop was very helpful in my recovery. I also loved the meetings that they have everyday of the week.. i would definitely recommend this to others. The only thing i hear it’s expensive. Luckily my insurance covered the bulk. Try it out and see.

A whole new life...

I have tried many different treatment programs and LionRock by far is one of the best for maintaining long term sobriety. The combination of individual therapist with small group counseling approach really helps me to stay consistent and focused on my recovery. The remote access outpatient approach allows me to continue with my day to day life while embedding recovery into my daily routine. The difficulty I had with inpatient rehab in the past was that I would go somewhere for 30 days and sobriety would be easy in the structured environment; however, when I would get out of rehab and back into daily life it was very difficult to stay sober. I highly recommend the LionRock IOP program as well as their Community and AA meetings. The topics are a good mixture of feelings based counseling and addiction education.

Lion Rock has been a true blessing in…

Lion Rock has been a true blessing in my life. Ten months ago I felt like I hit a wall that was blocking me from finding happiness with myself and my life after years of heavy drinking I randomly called Lion Rock after a quick Google search on addition and recovery. From day one everyone that I have encountered has been amazingly kind and supportive. I look forward to my individual counseling sessions as well as group sessions where I have met some pretty amazing people. If I had not made that initial phone call I would not have found the happiness and peace that I have.

Appreciate The Free Meetings, But A Couple Improvements Would Help

It's appreciated that Lionrock Recovery holds free online AA meetings with free verifications. The fact that they use the Zoom platform gets the kudos in my book, since that's such a great meeting platform. There are two reasons for docking a star off of my rating. 1) It's evident that the volunteers who run the meeting are not as familiar with the Zoom functions as they could be – this sometimes results in open mics for multiple participants and a general sense of being less polished than the meetings could be. 2) The old meeting verifications that Lionrock used to use were highly preferable, as they offered a clean PDF that was easy to save to one's computer (Adobe Sign was the program they used). The new verification system is just a google form which emails you what appears to be a filled out survey that does not give you a PDF for filing, just the email (Google Forms is the new program they are using).

Service, Support, Fellowship generates Hope

My review pertains to Lionrock's Online Support and Recovery Meeting portal:
Lionrock provides a reliable online audio or video meeting portal and hosts over 20 support and 12-step recovery meetings per week. Several months ago I moved to a rural area with only 3 traditional, face-to-face meetings per week---one of those is seasonal. The online meetings ensure my primary connection to the Recovery Program and Fellowship. Online "hosts," or secretaries, conduct open and closed meetings based on recovery-approved protocol focussed on daily reflections, recovery literature as well as open discussion. Regular participation in these meetings results in a fabulous network of sober contacts throughout the country and several European and Canadian areas as well. These meetings guarantee that the hand of recovery is there whenever or wherever someone reaches out for help. Thank you, Lionrock, for your service, support, and fellowship!

Lionrock Recovery: On the Front Lines

As a long time member of the 12-Step Community with 14 years sober, I was unsure about the effectiveness of online meetings. However, given the current virus situation, I looked to this resource for the first time to ensure my continued sobriety. Lionrock Recovery was at the forefront of the effort online, as one of the few entities offering 12-Step meetings early on during this crisis. I have found their meetings to be poignant, well-run, and easily accessible. Lionrock online meetings are sure to save lives at a particularly critical time. Well done!

Women's meeting Sober Sisters

This women's meeting is my favorite meeting of the week. Though the meeting is virtual, there is a great fellowship that exists in there. Woman that I can relate to and rely on to show up weekly and be a great support systen. It's been amazing to see women come to that meeting on their first day of sobriety and celebrate 30, 60, 90 days! Some of the women are from the IOP groups and some are women who only come to the meetings. It's beautiful to see a fellowship grow up around you in a virtual platform. Many of the women check in with each other daily and have found true sober friendships. So grateful Lionrock provides these meetings.

Lionrock Recovery offers a reliable and…

Lionrock Recovery offers a reliable and trustworthy model to allow people struggling with addiction to get the help that they want and need. I regularly attend a women's meeting and it has become one of my favorite meetings. As a woman in recovery from substance abuse, it's nice to be able to attend a meeting from the comfort of my own couch and to connect with women from all over the country.
