Perfect for Me
First, I got my yarn in a quick time frame....second, Mandela Cake yarn (my choice was Pixie) is turning into a beautiful blanket using a stitch I just learned....the tricot stitch. I will use this yarn more often!
Ine of the best online yarn shops!
The quality and ease of knitting with Lion Brand yarns gets better & better! I especially love knitting with their Heartland line. Their packaging & shipping are commendable and their website makes it easy to shop and purchase.
Beautifully soft and high quality
Wonderfully soft and high quality just perfect for my project can't wait to get started go to Lionbrand.com for quality yarns

According to the ad purchase 5 skeins for 12.00 and the reduction would come off at the checkout. Unfortunately it did not I contacted them immediately but they did not reply until the sale was over 24 hours later apologized to say the sale was over. They did nothing to resolve the issue. I feel they did nothing to assist me and I explained I would never purchase from them again. It hard to enjoy a yarn when you've had a bad experience
Quality Products
They have a great selection of yarn. Shipping was a bit slow but that is how smaller businesses are so I didn’t mind. I love their selection of easy to follow patterns. The Pima cotton is my favorite. It’s so soft.
Great selection and good prices
Great selection and good prices. Shipping is fairly quick too. Any time I've had an issue customer service was prompt, professional, and polite.
The yarn is beautiful
The yarn is beautiful, easy to knit with and the colours are stunning - I am hooked on Elm. I have already knitted 3 garments and a hat with it and am ready for more. It is pilling just a tiny bit and I have not experienced any splitting of the yarn while knitting with it. However, the yarn seems to very easily snag on zippers, jewelry etc.
Order processed in a timely fashion
Order processed in a timely fashion. Everything arrived safely and as ordered (Delivery from the US to Canada took twice as long as a delivery of another order Ordered the same day from Denmark.)
A Fun Look Back in Time
I enjoy seeing the patterns that were popular for my mother and grandmother. It's a fun look back in time. There are fewer instructions in these patterns. The implicit expectations are that you have some knowledge of knitting and crocheting and that you already know how to work fairly independently. In the days of no internet friends & family passed on this knowledge to one another.
I'm glad I bought the book but I would warn those that want to make these clothes that the large majority of the patterns are for crocheters, not knitters.

I ordered 78 euros worth of yarn to my country, excluding the delivery of 23e and customs fee of 20e. Well, my package was switched with a woman from Canada's and I received the wrong goods. After weeks of trying to contact customer service, with very long detailed emails including images, they got back to me and only refunded me the cost of the yarn and not the delivery or customs fee. Even the delivery would have been reasonable as this is an error on their end. Anyway, I am out 43 euros with a lot of yarn that is nice but I don't have any use for, and in order to complete my project I'll have to continue ordering from a 3rd party seller because Lion Brand are not trustworthy to buy from directly, though I thought buying in bulk from them would somehow save me money in the long run clearly I was mistaken
Do not Deal with this brand. Appalling customer service.
What a company!! Rubbish!
Customer service absolutely non existent. No common sense, no willingness to co-operate with customers. Unwilling to cancel my £100 order when they told me it was going to be delayed. Said I could only send it back - to the US right, expensive. I wanted to cancel as soon as they let me know it was going to be delayed - they said they couldn't cancel after 30 minutes of the order, even though it was not yet due to be shipped!!!! Ridiculous, they are dreadful at customer service. When I complained, the reply didn't address my complaint and signed off "Happy Crafting". What a dreadful way to dismiss a customer. I will never, ever deal with this company again.
0 stars if I could
0 stars if I could! I ordered 12 balls of wool and paid about £35 in postage, I was happy with this until about 2 weeks later I got an email to say I was being refunded for 10 of the 12 balls. I’m still being charged about £25 in postage and cannot do the project I wanted with just 2 balls so asked the company to cancel the order but apparently that’s only an option within the first 30mins after you place an order.
Okay for Lion Brand to cancel on you though?! Absolutely shocking customer service. Their advice was to refuse the parcel and once it was returned I would be refunded for the remaining 2 balls, postage in non refundable. Avoid this company like the plague!
Bought Mandala. Full Regerts.
Bought Mandala yarn and it is so terrible. Had to cut out so much of it because it looks like it got stuck in a piece of Velcro like 41 times and then ran over with a lawn trimmer. No wonder it’s always on sale. It’s still too much money. They could give it away for free and it would still cost too much. Can’t get my time back that I’ve wasted on making a project that will never look good Thanks to dookie yarn.
Hoped For Better. So Disappointed!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought Lion Brand Was a Reputable Company!!!!!!!! Payed good money for P&P to New Zealand because in New Zealand it actually worked out better money wise as yarn is a great price.
…….No communication (I have tried!!!)
……Tracking Number doesn’t work, saying no package attached to Number.
……Lion Brand have had my money. They are making interest for about a month now and I have nothing.
……I am not hopeful to be-able to crochet my daughter a blanket for Christmas.
Stay Away From #lionbrand.com

No information on shipping on a 138 dollar order. Order received on Oct 16. Email verification. Two emails to cu service. Two tries on phone calls. No luck. Disputing with credit card now. Terrible!

... £10 for 1 yarn no thank you.

I'd give it 0 stars if that were possible. I received an order today of Sunset Nights yarn, it is HORRIBLE. Supposedly is a 4-weight, but it's so very thin, and so badly wound I can tell it will split every 2 seconds if I try to use it, which I will not. I went on their website to figure out how to return it for a refund, but it appears that I would have to pay the shipping to return their defective junk!!!! What a slap in the face, I swear. I will NEVER order from these shysters again. Stay far, far away!

I really like the amount of grams you get for each set of yarn. I'm so excited to get started with them!
