I bought a Linsar TV 28” back in 2016 from John Lewis (international delivery) the best telly purchase I have ever made. Still going strong good picture and sound despite being shipped across continents a few times really could not recommend it highly enough- well done Linsar

Faulty 24" FHD LED TV...Model No

Faulty Linsar 24" FHD LED TV...Model No. X24DVDMK2 with inbuilt DVD player. The sound and colour is fine. The TV freezes when I channel hop. Switches itself off and then turns itself back on again. I can live with the fault. Got used to it. Paid £199.99 plus p&p from Ideal World the UK 🇬🇧 shopping channel last year during the many 2020 COVID19 Lockdowns. Never again. Once bitten twice shy. Not used the inbuilt DVD player yet. Which is why I bought the telly! Lost confidence in this Brand. Shame really. Similar telly's are half price in Lidl. 🤔

Linsar kettle dies after 6 months.

I purchased a Linsar kettle in August 2020. The reason I chose this company was that I understood it was manufactured in the UK, albeit from foreign (Chinese?) components. I thought I was being at least partially patriotic. Added to that I was under the misapprehension that a UK produced kettle would last longer than the "just over a year" that most kettles in recent years have lasted. Long gone are the days when my old Russell Hobbs kettle lasted 20 years. It is now February 2021, and after only 6 months use, my Linsar kettle has died. At least there is a two year guarantee and it will be returned to the shop from which I made the purchase.

Worse tv ever and terrible service

Netflix stopped working after one week and the screen is completely glitchy you can’t see any of the menu options. Sound is shocking, must come from a baked bean tin. Waited over a month after 6 calls lodged with good guys and still not one response.

DO NOT BUY THIS TO GAME ON XBOX OR PLAYSTATION

I purchased this TV for Xmas for my sons new xbox for Hdr10 60hz gaming. It's absolutely terrible, we put Fifa on and the ball looks like it has the trail of a comment and the plays are blurry when they move. Although this TV boasts hdr10 4k and 60hz don't be fooled, pay the extra £50 or so and get a branded TV. Most deffinatly wouldn't recommend this for any type of gaming. It seems the TV can't keep up with any game I have tested. I have requested a return and refund from Ebuyer to swap out for a 50" LG so see what happens

Purchased the TV from the co op in…

Purchased the TV from the co op in March 2019 it is the most temperamental TV I have ever dealt with, mind of its own, totally stopped changing channel had to be removed from the mains and plugged back in to reset the channels, as co op have closed their electrical section I now have to deal with Linsar, who are basically a bunch of chimpanzees that barely know how to answer the phone, out of many calls I only got through once, managed to arrange a repair, the tv was collected and then we waited, when returned the faults remain, when queried no reply, the co op wont refund, and Linsar wont reply to contact, so what to do??????

Do not buy a linsar tv

TV had small black lines down the screen and then completely stopped working all within the first few months of purchase.

Their customer service / repairs team are a joke. Service is terrible and slow and took almost 2 months for us to get our refund.

Spend a little extra on a brand who are actually competent is my advice. Do not buy a linsar TV.

I bought this TV for an elderly aunt…

I bought this TV for an elderly aunt who was struggling to manage with separate DVD player and Freeview box. All three in one unit sounded like a good idea and would have been had we not bought this TV. To change between TV and DVD requires the user to enter the SOURCE menu and then scroll down to navigate between them. There is no DVD/TV button like most handsets have. If you lose the handset or it becomes unusable then there are no controls on the body of the TV. I have had to bring the TV home as it caused more confusion that giving pleasure.
I have tried to use it as a second TV and connected to a SKY box magic eye, but the TV will not connect to SKY and Freeview as you cant switch between Freeview and TV like you can on almost every other TV control I have owned.
My advice would be buy a real TV combination.

I've got a 43inch linsar tv/dvd combi…

I've got a 43inch linsar tv/dvd combi and it's the worst item I have bought in my life...it switches itself off at anytime...and it's even worse when it comes to watching a dvd with an annoying rattling sound from the back off the television..it would then come up on screen no disc on certain DVDs and days later they would be working perfectly...and maybe 10 days later the same scenario would happen again...I emailed linsar but they haven't has the decency to reply to em email...to anyone reading this....PLEASE DON'T BUY ANY LINSAR TELEVISION'S.

Blinded by the price

Blinded by the price, we risked purchasing this unheard of brand of television for our bedroom. We were reassured by the long guarantee period but actually that doesn't count for anything because the problems are numerous and continuous, Linsar/Tempo are impossible to contact, and so you may as well just not have a tv as have one with a useless guarantee. We've had problems from day one, including turning itself off and on , changing picture quality and internet connection issues. When it arrived my gut instinct was to return it and buy something better, really wish I'd trusted that 5 months down the line.

Awful

Awful. Not at all user friendly and the WiFi has packed up on ours after only 2 years. Hardly used this TV at all either so not due to over use. Every time we turned it on we had to set up the WiFi and now it just won't do it at all. Spend a bit more and get something half decent.

Absolute rubbish

I bought a 50inch tv ,in 1 month I have had 3 replacements from Hughes who I have to say have been very good and I would recommend them. The first one the main problem was the HD programmes didn’t work properly and it kept freezing so to change the channel I had to switch it off at the plug and start again. The second one had no remote and the third one has a blue line from top to bottom of the screen. Needless to say I won’t be having a fourth!

You get what you pay for, if that!

I bought a 55inch Linsar tv (LINS-55UHD520-ROKU) on the 23rd of August in the sale for £300. I did think it was too cheap for such a big, relatively high spec 4k TV, but was blinded by the bargain.

The day it arrived I mounted it, turned it on and the entire display was back to front!
The retailer was great and arranged for it to be collected and replaced the next day.

I received the same TV again, and was initially pleased with it. However my happiness only lasted about a month, as the screen started flickering grey with horizontal lines.
There was no physical damage to the TV, they are just that badly made.

I believe the retailer won't be getting anymore of this brand in stock, likely because other customers have had problems too. There simply is no quality control with these TVs.

I ordered a replacement with the same retailer for a Hisense TV, £160 more expensive than the Linsar but I've learned my lesson. You pay for quality.

I decided to take a risk

I decided to take a risk, to buy a Linsar. When i tried to connect it i realized it has no wi-fi, no wireless display and no smart tv. I thought it should be with every tv now. Not great!
Ok. I couldn't wait to check how this uhd 4k going to look., But the quality was not good. No comparison to my 6years old lg or Samsung. Even Bush tv is better.
My feeling is, this tv is made up to the very cheapest standard. The price is cheap, but second hand lg or samsung is better option.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

The most temperamental TV I've ever owned

We bought a Linsar smart TV and unfortunately that turned out to be a dumb move. The sound quality is pretty poor compared with the Sony we had before and the thing is extremely temperamental. The integral DVD sometimes plays discs, but sometimes it doesn't feel like it. It often freezes and we have to turn it off and turn it on again. Its latest trick was deciding not to talk to the remote control. As it has no on/off button we then had to scrabble about to unplug it and start again (after needlessly changing the batteries in the remote of course!). We bought it through John Lewis and it has a 5-year guarantee but to get it looked at it needs to be taken away for 14-28 days' investigation. We all know that it won't do any of its tricks during that time, don't we? So even though it's less than a year old I reckon we'll be replacing as soon as we can afford to. And we won't be buying another Linsar that's for sure.

I just rang Linsar (Tempo) HELPLINE: 01202 723330
to check my 5 year warranty after Ellie's worrying review below.
Ellie if purchase faulty within 6 months return to retailer for refund.

I got through straight away and had a chat with nice man
who informed me repairs in UK take between 10 to 15 days
(usually) for TV's.
I still love and I'm very pleased with my Linsar 55 inch TV!

It panicked me a little but I am happy again!
