Toshiba lack of customer service
I would give 0 reviews if it were possible.
I purchased a Toshiba microwave. After using, lots of what looked like water marks(?) appeared. They won't come off.
I sent photographs to Toshiba and was fobbed off with spurious answers solutions, all of which were useless. I asked for repair or replacement and they dismissed me.
Appalling customer service and faulty products.
It would appear that I am not alone in my opinion, judging by these reviews. Toshiba products should be avoided!!
If I could give 0 stars
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
No proper support, no follow up, not trustworthy and don't do what they say. I am waiting for an update stick for a faulty TV for 3 weeks whilst they pretend I never need their support anymore and they close the tickets.
An absolute joke!
Toshiba TVs don't last long! Avoid !
There products don't last long ,,I bought a Toshiba tv with good reviews in 2023 through argos, and suddenly without warning it stopped working completely, just stuck in a restart loop, I called many people in. Argos and Toshiba for help , argos say warranty ended you need to ask Toshiba for help, and Toshiba said we cant help you get your own engineer to fix it we can't send you anyone!!! Moral of the story buy a good brand that last long don't waste your money on bad TV because if it breaks down they won't replace nor fix it after two years, by UK laws an item like tv must last reasonable amount of time around six years but this one didn't even last three years!!!!I learnt my lesson and won't buy their low quality non durable TV anymore, what's the point of buying a TV that will break down after two years exactly when the warranty ended!!! As if they made it to not last any longer than the warranty period,, now I am left with no tv because no engineer will examine it for free and they refused to send their own technician!!!argos won't help either after two years , avoid buying their tv through argos you will only lose your money,I will write my reference number in case they want proof.1-1-4412950,
Slow laptop
My Toshiba laptop does the basics but it’s not fast. After some months it started slowing down, especially with updates and multitasking. Battery life also dropped quicker than expected. I know it is cheap and didn't expected much, but it is even worse than I expected.
It’s fine as a simple work or study laptop, but it slows down as soon as you start doing something more complex.
Poor quality Toshiba televisions.
3 years ago my son-in-law bought a Toshiba tv from John Lewis. It was all he could afford. It is still under their 5 year warranty. It is a well-known software issue. John Lewis has stopped selling them because of all of the complaints. John Lewis' engineers cannot find the faults, which only show up after watching the tv for some time. These televisions are still on sale to poor unsuspecting customers. It's disgusting.
A complete waste of money.
In Dec '25 I bought a 55" Toshiba tv from AO. I originally gave it a moderate review as I thought it may be just a steep learning curve. I have since regretted having bought a tv using the VIDAA operating system and wished I'd never set eyes on it. It is the most user unfriendly thing I've ever bought. The remote seems to have a mind of its own and does not operate like a normal remote often needing double the number of clicks to reach your screen destination. I have connected my previous Freeview box to it so that I can watch channels trouble free. A complete waste of money.
Poor tv brand
If I could give a 0 then I would. The remote as to be direct in line with sensor and is very slow and sluggish when after you press the button. Very poor. I never recommend Toshiba tvs .stay away. I took my tv back. Bought an LG. Best thing I did. I very highly recommend LG. Very fast and remote works anywhere.
2 1 /2years ago we purchased a 55inch…
2 1 /2years ago we purchased a 55inch Toshiba TV which until Saturday 6th December when the power supply went with o real warning ⚠️ the TV packed up tried various helpful you tube blogs but they couldn't help us in the end the TV was far gone only a miracle if we had one could have worked.
Bought a Toshiba 65 TV from ao
Bought a Toshiba 65 TV from ao, had a problem with TV losing picture, intermittent picture quality. It was 1 day out of a 1 year warranty on day of purchase but less than a year on day of delivery.. Not ao or Toshiba would take any responsibility. More into giving me the run around with frustration. Service from ao ebay and Toshiba UK absolutely rubbish..
Rubbish don’t waste your money
Myself and 3 other family member bought the Toshiba tv 65inch 4 years ago
Worst tv ever remote does not work half the time switched off on its own try to watch Netflix or free view it goes all through the motions then turns tv off
And that’s all of our. We have all recently bought new tvs had enough will never buy this make

Don’t waste your money Samsung is a brilliant tv as well which I have in my kitchen
As others have stated the so called…
As others have stated the so called smart TV is just bad. It always needs retuning. There is control issues and doesn’t turn off when you ask it to. It just doesn’t know how to be a TV. Who would of ever of thought a TV would crash? It’s job is to receive and screen what you want.
Have a Toshiba tv with intermittent…
Have a Toshiba tv with intermittent fault, contacted customer services the guy was very helpful, tried a few things ,he said if problem persist you probably need a replacement tv. Problem still there rang again, what a ar_hole he was , very condecending. No help at all. Contacted AO who we purchased it from, supplier problem. Contaced customer service no reply to email , what a very poor company, would not buy anything Toshiba in the future, dont care about the customers and just sell cheap rubbish.
TOSHIBA Canvio Ready 2TB HDD
I bought this external hard drive from ARGOS / Sainsbury's, as it was on special offer.
For those who also own an ENG camcorder, I can highly recommend this device.
My Panasonic HC-X1 4K Professional ENG camcorder recognised the device straight away, but had to be formatted to the camcorder's file system, and I was able to copy a number of wildlife "Rushes" (video files) to the external hard drive for obvious backup purposes.
Well pleased with my purchase today! :-)
Never buying Toshiba again
Freeview needs constant retuning, tv guide rarely works properly, it has various annoying technical glitches and lagging remote control issues and on any on-demand service it switches off after ten minutes of being paused, so you have to go back into a given app and hope it has kept your place (not always the case)
Absolutely not worth any money saved on this cheap but awful TV
Toshiba 50QA5D63DB 'Not So' Smart TV
Toshiba 50QA5D63DB 'Not So' Smart TV. OMG where do I start with this overpriced piece of crap? Short version: Bought it but didn't use it for 2.5 years as we moved home and used a different TV. After 2.5 years unpacked it and found it's basically unfit for purpose. It's slow to respond or doesn't respond at all. The user manual is about as clear as a well stirred muddy puddle, which is where I would like to through this waste of resources. Obviuosly I'm well beyond any consumer rights without a major fight and to be honest I've got better things to do than fight the retailer in court over this. All I can do is warn anyone that will listen to research any product with a Toshiba badge on it. I'll never have anything from them in my house again.
Toshiba terrible
Had a tv. Had it 3 years , not always used in that 3 years . Turned it on , 6 days ago, sound there but nothing else works. Contacted Toshiba, customer care 💩💩💩 basically my fault and told me to fix it ! Explained everything including my health but nothing scripted 💩💩💩 no help and put it all on me. Don't tell me £399 for 3 years years minus say 8 to 12 months months tv not used is fair. TOSHIBA ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY. Customer care horrendous, their warranty excuse is a get out nothing more . NEVER BUYING TOSHIBA AGAIN
basically the Toshiba fire TV is crap

i would not recommend it to anyone thee are so many things that don't work or work intermittently take tv guide it will sit there for ever leaving you waiting for a response I get so frustrated I feel like kicking the screen. its ok if u want to watch say Utube or netflix try watching SKY News or GBnews on the internet you will have problems try Sky News on Freeview terrestrial, the picture quality is so poor I gave up, at the end of the day if it wasn't that, Try to user the TV Guide, its a joke sometimes it works most times it doesn't I got this Tv as a present from my son, I am too polite to tell him tat he bought a crock of shite. The TV is a load of crap, I woold not recommend it to my worst enemy
I have a terrible experience buying…
I have a terrible experience buying Toshiba Fridge GR-TR735WE-PGX-GG which is the worst decision model I ever made.
Was shifting house in Dec last year and fridge did not came on the scheduled delivery. When it came on scheduled day, delivery man showed attitude and did not explain further. I just throw the box and wasn’t bothered on the streaming of the door frame was actually faulty and should have been rejected on the spot.
After a few months, the build up of water at 2nd door become very obvious and I only came to know the door sponge framing is actually faulty.
Everyday I called Harvey Norman who actually helped arranged on-site support immediately.
The door water buildup is getting worst and totally not cold. Called Toshiba customer support and was told this is normal and will go away after 6 days.
How to tolerate when the fridge cannot even serve its basic purpose of keeping food fresh (I can’t keep my fruits and veg fresh as the fridge temp is the same as room temp) 😭😭 and ice cube chamber is totally faulty today on 19 July 2025. I was told this is normal and does not deserve a change of fridge.😭😭😭
Keep away from Toshiba Vidaa TVs
Keep away from Toshiba Vidaa TVs, absolute garbage and the reason they are heavily discounted.
Worst tv ever bought
This tv is the biggest heap of shite ever bought, constant bullshit regarding signal even with a direct aerial feed. Loss of internet for a freeview bs guide. Do not buy this shit, avoid at cost
