Treat Photographers like crap

Use to work for this company and did it for a few years, got them clients, chains of clients, manage to maintain good relationships with venue managers,m under the flag of LickList, trained many photographers, review their work, edit their work to save the day, have them shadowing me etc.

Covered multiple cities from north to south, including festivals that nobody wanted to do, and very often the least picked up locations amongst the favoritism circle of photographers of CEO/Booking Manager, to whom they had a "lads click", despite you being the one saving the night at 3am in Christmas Eve, or any other "urgent booking that come up" despite the fact they knew at times your travel time was superior to the booking or even earnings but they always take advantage of people who have good professional ethics.

Produced thousands and thousands of images for this agency, always in time, never uploaded anything after deadlines or anything like that.

Do not work for them. Any of their attempt to sound nice is just part of their rhetoric to have you on board and start to commission hard over your bookings while they sit on their asses being assisted by their clueless team who only cares about themselves and not as a team.

Do not use payment link

I was sent a link through this company to pay for a bowling alley reservation. I was expecting the email so used the link in goodwill. Less than 24 hours later I had been scammed out of £100 from my bank account. Hats off to Lloyds bank who sorted it out within minutes and refunded the money. DO NOT make payments with any link referring to this company.

Scammers

I have customers coming into my business in Ayr Scotland, telling us that they have paid Licklist to book tenpin bowling slots. It happened at this(holiday time) last year. This company is a SCAM company. All their positive reviews are by friends and employees. We have never had any contact with this company. They are selling our product at out-of-date prices and without our permission. On investigation, they are a bunch of Essex boys taking money from the honest public and giving nothing back. They never respond to complaints. Read the REAL reviews. It’s a very sorry tail. It’s sad that we have to tell the people who turn up at our business believing that they have paid for a family night out. That they are scam victims and that they should contact their bank. Very frustrating. These people should be in jail.

Useless company run by scammers

Useless company run by a scammer. Less than minimum wage pay and all your details on a non secure GDPR breaching website. Illegally run and corrupt essex boy owners. Avoid and ignore all the fake copy paste 5* reviews. And all the non copy paste ones are from the brown nosing employees. Just nick the client and work for yourself. At least that way you will be paid and not have money stolen. Around 100k they must have stolen over the years. Terrible company!

Photographer didn’t show up

Photographer didn’t show up
Photographer didn’t show up. Was terribly disappointed as this was an important event and we have no professional images of it.
Emailed and called to find out what happened. Was ignored. Very shoddy unprofessional company. I would strongly avoid using them.

Licklist then had the cheek to flag my previous review with trust pilot, yet until now haven’t taken the time to reply to my email asking why the photographer didn’t show up.

Shoddy and exploitative AVOID!

This is the worst company I have worked for in the entire 30 years of my freelance Photography career. They are disorganised, dishonest and morally bankrupt with no conscience. Nicholas Dossett was my bookings manager who will be ever so nice (in a very fake kind of emoticon filled kind of way such as 😇) he will turn his back when you need something and will manipulate a situation to work in his and the companies favour so you end up out of pocket after being used, abused and exploited. I never missed a booking but due to their lack of organisation they did cause me to lose several and yet they deducted a payment that was due as a direct result of their incompetence.

They will find any excuse not to pay you despite the pay rate already being abysmally low and you will be lucky if you make £15 per hour (more like £12) if they do decide to pay you at all. There is even a fee of £10 for giving you feedback for your hard work. Peter Trawford is in charge of paying employees but he will just take money out of your payments due or just not pay you at all without giving any prior notice or reasoning.

Brad Nobbs is the managing director who is equally as useless and complicit in ripping freelance employees off and he will never respond to your emails and he won't call you even when your bookings manager says he will. They would rather bury their heads in the sand in Hope that you might just disappear rather than being responsible.

This company is run by a bunch of morally bankrupt parasites. It is clear that the majority of Photographers who have worked with them share a very similar experience to myself and I can see there is an abundance of them so don't be mislead by a few fake 5 star reviews.

Licklist is an abysmal company and anyone who considers working for them would be a fool as they cannot be trusted and will exploit you.

Stay clear! You have been warned. A truly nasty company to work for. (PS: look out for the response where it mentions that payments are deducted for missed bookings despite the fact I never missed any. That is how useless and incompetent they are.)

Stopped using this company a few years…

Stopped using this company a few years ago for many reasons -
* Photographers not showing up and no contact number given to find out where they were.

*Another photographer took only crowd pictures and the same 5 people. Didn't ask more people to get their pictures.

*After cancelling due to such poor service, they sent a photographer to an event - but at a different venue- took a picture of the empty venue and try to charge us anyway.

In an emergency, I tried one last time and yet again the photographer never showed.

Deal with photographers direct because this company doesn't have a clue.

Excellent service from Licklist

I booked a ticket using Licklist.

I found the website and booking process really easy to use. Once I’d made my booking the ticket was sent to me immediately.

Excellent service and no problems whatsoever.

Highly recommended.

Easy to book

I've made a booking via Licklist for a stag night out and it was very smooth experience. I was able to choose a table and order the event package in my favourite club and even I got a discount.

In general: the site is really easy to use, pretty much straight forward, even without registration, and I was able to talk with support who helped me to select the perfect package for my party night out.

Thanks again!
