I had a disappointing experience with this staffing agency. In my opinion, they were unprofessional in their communication and follow-through. I would not recommend them based on my interactions, and I encourage others to explore more reliable staffing options. Time is valuable, and I felt mine was not respected.

LHH provided me with an excellent programme of career support which genuinely optimised my recent career transition. My Career Coach Sally was professional, so encouraging and provided really constructive ideas to help evaluate the opportunities available to me. The range of on line resources were first class. I particularly loved the broad range of Live Events which were not only informative but facilitated a great exchange of knowledge and ideas from others on the Programme. I'd recommend taking a look at what LHH has to offer at register.lhh.com

I've used LHH both as a customer and client over many years. I have always found the LHH team to be knowledgeable, adaptable, responsive and supportive. I would highly recommend them.

Sally Walker at LHH has been a fantastic support during a time when I was looking for a new job. She asked what kind of support I wanted, provided accountability to keep me on track, and made lots of practical suggestions about avenues I could explore. She was also compassionate and kind during a very stressful time.
The webinars I attended with LHH were also excellent - particularly the full day Interview Spotlight sessions with lots of time to learn and practise new skills.
Without their focussed and knowledgeable support, I'm not sure I would have found a new job in the time I did.

I'm not surprised to see the poor scores. My ex employer gave this as a service for people who were made redundant.
I hope they paid less than five pounds.
I'm always open to learning and coaching. I've been in leadership roles for 15 years and have sales and it experience for 30. My "coach" had never worked in sales, or IT. And had a couple of years experience as an office manager. She failed to turn up to the call time she set.
Absolute waste of time and money.

Absolute sham and disgrace. I wish my company had given me the no-doubt thousands they've spent on this shower. I'd have put it to much better use. Their job listings are useless, their consultants at best pointless and at worst, rude and aggressive (certainly the one that contacted me). And their so-called events a waste of time - I had more knowledge than the hosts most of the time. They said they'd investigate my complaint but did nothing and closed it down after a few days without any input from me or any information on the output/result - another sham. They just conveniently made it 'go away' - in spite of my protest and probably didn't investigate anything. For me and in my opinion, they took money from my company and provided nothing but stress and poor service in return. And a complaint they simply shut down because presumably they didn't want to deal with it. Absolute disgrace. There must be some standards body that should be investigating. And to do this to people who are facing redundancy and at a very low patch in their professional lives is morally repugnant. One word for you folks: Karma!
They also said that they'd received no replies from me to their so-called phone calls and emails - that is absolutely NOT the case! But they refused repeatedly to listen, so ONLY AT THAT POINT and NOT BEFORE, I stopped bothering to engage with them - as they were not taking my complaint seriously and it was just a waste of time and blood pressure. In fact when they emailed me to say that they were arbitrarily closing the complaint down I replied back challenging it and asking why they were closing it when they had in NO WAY resolved it!! So LET'S GET THAT RIGHT!!
And for the record, condescending barely veiled sarcasm does not qualify as encouraging dialogue or appropriate customer service. But thank you in your facetious, passive-aggressive tone, for proving my point - repeatedly.

LHH is nearly totally a sham. Why do companies buy their service for let-go employees - I don't know! Other than helping make the resume ATS-friendly, they do practically nothing. The "LHH coach" was rude and cancelled and rescheduled and re-rescheduled a half-dozen times all the time while saying my time is very important. After lodging a complaint with their customer service, I got a new coach who was helpful though. However, in terms of value, their service is worth zilch.

Found it a complete waste of time. Would have preferred my previous employer giving me the money for courses instead to improve my skills.

LHH contacted me about a position with a few details about the job description. I did a phone "interview" and was told she'd forward my resume to the client and let me know Monday about an interview with the client. I texted her Monday afternoon asking if she had heard anything but instead I was ghosted. I'm an adult and can handle being told they went with someone else, I find ghosting a potential employee poor business practice.
Absolutely Not Recommended – Worst Experience with LHH Talent Solutions!
I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at LHH Talent Solutions (Lee Hecht Harrison). Unfortunately, my ex-employer had already paid for their services, so I had no choice but to go along with it. My experience has only gotten worse with every interaction.
When I first started, I was greeted by someone who essentially just read a script to me for an entire hour, explaining what services they provide. I was then informed that this session had used up one of my allotted sessions. So, essentially, I paid someone to read about their own services to me—how ridiculous!
I raised my concerns, and they apologized, transferring me to someone named Tim. Tim then surprised me further by telling me that they wouldn't be providing CV writing services, only guidance on how to write it. I could easily get better advice from an AI like ChatGPT, which does this more efficiently and with much more relevant feedback. This was never communicated to me in the beginning, and it seems like the statements and promises I was given are constantly changing.
Overall, the experience has been extremely frustrating, and I feel like I’ve wasted both time and money. I strongly advise against using their services. If you’re looking for meaningful support in career services, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my feedback regarding the services I received through LHH, as I believe it’s important to highlight areas where improvements can be made to better serve clients in the future.
1. LinkedIn Courses
The LinkedIn courses provided as part of the program seemed very basic and catered to absolute beginners. Unfortunately, they lacked practical guidance on how to improve visibility to recruiters or develop meaningful networking strategies, which are critical in today’s job market. The content felt more like a checklist exercise rather than offering actionable or tangible value.
2. CV Review
The CV review service was particularly disappointing. The feedback received involved minor changes to a couple of sentences, and the revised CV would likely not meet the expectations of most recruiters. In its current form, I feel the document lacks the refinement or impact needed to stand out in a competitive job market.
3. Online Job Database
The online job database was another area of concern. The claim that jobs are available there before being posted elsewhere did not align with my experience. Many of the listings appeared outdated or irrelevant, which significantly limited its utility as a resource for job hunting.
4. Course Timeline Management
I requested to extend the timeline for my course during the holiday period; however, this request was not accommodated. Upon returning, I was informed that my course had been completed, and my access reverted to standard. This left me feeling unsupported and unable to fully utilize the resources that were supposed to aid in my career transition.
In summary, my personal experience with LHH fell short of the expectations set by the service's initial claims. While I appreciate the intent of the program, I believe there is significant room for improvement to ensure clients receive the promised value.
I hope it helps in enhancing the experience for future clients.
EDIT 25th FEB 2025 - No updates, couple of emails about feedback, sent my request to refund and then silence, speaks volume of the organisation.

The team at LHH are fantastic. I would like to thank Rachel, Andy and Zoe in particular for all their help and guidance, in what seems to be a challenging job market currently. The opportunity to access LinkedIn learning and the resources on there is great too. I can highly recommend LHH to anyone considering their services.
LHH provided excellent support that helped me on my career journey. The support was relevant motivating and easy to access and gave me the framework that I needed to get back to work and fulfil my ambition of running my own business. Thank you!
I recently had the pleasure of working with a Mathew a consultant who exceeded my expectations in every way. From our first meeting, it was clear that he was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in my success. He took the time to understand my career goals and provided tailored advice that made a significant difference in my job search.
His professionalism was evident throughout the process, as he consistently followed up and offered valuable insights on resume writing and interview preparation. I felt supported and empowered at every stage, which made the often stressful job search much more manageable.
If you're looking for someone who is attentive, experienced, and truly cares about helping you find the right opportunity, I highly recommend this consultant. His expertise was instrumental in helping me land my dream job!
LHH provided me with a wealth of resources, a brilliant coach and some very helpful seminars after I took redundancy. I would highly recommend them as a resource for those looking to change career or who have taken redundancy.

They did nothing to help me with career search and provided barely any tools to help me reintegrate back into the workforce.

After redundancy, my employer paid LHH to support me in re-employment, and LHH get in touch with me, just to schedule the meetings which never take place... The links to the zoom meetings go into unknown e-mail addresses and I get only information that the invitation was sent, and when asking for the links being sent to my e-mail address, I get links an hour before the meeting, and the link doesn't work...No help, no support, no communication, I think it's a SPAM.
Having spent a month or more "with LHH" provided from a mass layoff by my prior employer, I can say that the experience is very lacking.
The online, self-guided tools are hit-or-miss, with the "branding expert" service (only a 1-time deal though, no back-and-forth work to truly optimize one's resume) being the highest offering.
My "personal coach" has been mostly unresponsive. Come to find out it was for a good reason in their personal life. Understandable, but reassign those affected to a different coach. I've been 'active' in the LHH system for over a month and most questions sent to my coach have gone unanswered, I've only had one brief 'intro' meeting with them and all other meetings/requests have continually been cancelled or pushed out indefinitely. As someone who is a multi-certified coach myself, I'll say my experience of LHH's coaching service is - they don't have one. What little I've gleaned from my one conversation with my coach validates that they don't really do any coaching, are really there to direct questions, and occasionally do some "ra ra" cheerleading but ultimately seem to serve little purpose outside of "feel good" "you have a coach!" virtue signaling on LHH's part.
Other services - which, again are all self-guided with no accountability from coach or others - are mostly window dressing.
The online/website experience provides almost no way to get in touch with LHH, outside of emailing your assigned coach - who in my case is/was MIA 95+% of the time. Since there's no support contact path on their website, I can't even ask an administrative rep to reassign me to a different coach, or ask logistics questions. All that has to go thru the personal coach. If they are unresponsive, you're left on your own with a seemingly "good luck with that" attitude from LHH.
In the end, LHH seems to be (from my experience - YMMV) a window dressing offering from employers attempting to make victims of mass layoffs feel better about being tossed into the job market unexpectedly. Anything more than that could likely be found on the web for free (LHH services aren't costing me anything but my former employer has almost certainly paid them something) and a larger support community (currently my LHH support community = 0 people and one self-guided website) could be found on reddit.
I give them one star because they do have offerings that may prove beneficial to some. Past that... it's lip service/window dressing at most.
